Very nicely done -zenn! I love the greebles and details you put in, great use of the blue tri-bike piece too. Seeing this somehow reminds me of the Mandalorian speeder bike.

Welcome Oddibossity to Eurobricks. You have a pretty interesting lineage - a Bristish-born Australian who likes Japanese origami. Nice! Do enjoy the site.

Welcome aboard Luke! Enjoy the forums and see you around.

Welcome to Eurobricks Cornelius M. Enjoy the site.

LoL'd at Bryknii Very nice concept of this MHI patient carrier. I like the simplistic design of the van, the all-white color looks clean and the finish is smooth.
-
Very nicely done J4ke, quite impressive for your first attempt. The 'Dude is easily recognizable as Ash. Great use of your available colored parts to achieve the overall look of Ash. Picacube (clever name btw), is also pretty decent considering the difficulty pulling-off the look of small creatures.

So Bossk is a Libran? (just like me ) Well, what can I say, another classic creation Rook. The design with the two huge disc-like front engines is really very unique, it looks like a ship-version of the podracer. I also like the the use of the slanted slopes in the body - very cleverly done to create a 'smooth-textured' effect. BTW, why are there oriental characters in the front-top? Is Bossk Chinese/Japanese?

I think so, since the Mando helmets will be based on the new Boba helmet. EDIT: Sorry for the double answer, prateek beat me to it. :)

Great review KimT, thanks for sharing. I must admit these are way better than the CW 'Dudes (except maybe for IG-88). Dengar is my favorite among these bounty hunters. Though I might never get a hold of these cubedudes since I'm not really into collecting them, it's nice to look at them and hopefully there'll be more 'cubies' to come.

No problem fallenangel327, I understand most of your sentiments. Maybe that's the strategy of TLG for 2011 - less remakes and more new ones (even if they are only based on 1-2 episodes of the CW series). We just have to somehow accept the fact that this might be the direction LSW is going and we'd just have to 'happily' embrace these changes. It's a good thing we'd be getting the Vos as an MF, I think he's really an interesting character even if he has not appeared yet in the series. He, Shaak, and Saesee are three reasons enough why the T-6 shuttle is a must-buy for fans. With regards to the BPs, I really don't mind a couple (or 4) of blue Mandos, and the ARFs are always a welcome addition to any clone armies, as they have appeared significantly in CW Season 1, Season 2, and will appear in Season 3 (and the new molds are really great IMO).
-
The functionality of the wings of the T-6 shuttle somehow makes-up for the rather plain appearance of the ship. Btw, that's the second appearance of Halo in the series, the first one in the Children of the Force episode where Mace, Obi-Wan, Bane and Cody were in the ship.

Lovely creation! I agree the whole catamaran has a very clean and neat look, the simplistic beauty of the design is very serene and comforting to look at. Great job hhcBrick!

Yep that was the episode from which the Bounty Hunter Gunship set was based on - where Sugi, Embo, and Halo made their first appearance in the series. Still the only odd thing is the inclusion of Aurra in the set, which is a nice but random addition once again.

Interesting observation, I noticed that too earlier but did not bother to check out how the real Bomb Squad Troopers look like. But after checking it out, it seems they should have two orange arms (see below). But that's something TLG can easily fix in the final version. I checked it out and I see Jar-Jar in the box. Yes Jar-Jar has eye prints while the generic Gungan has none. BTW, that is still your first post.

What a great first MOC Tricky-Bricky! I was just welcoming you in the Member's Intro thread and here you are showing off your creation. I love the concept of the Maxi-Drive, and even if the ship is based mostly on the Republic Cruiser, you managed to give it a different and distinct design. The white color scheme looks clean, the only suggestions that I would make is if you could probably add tiles on the body surfaces to give it a smoother look. And a little bit of another color in the body might help giving the ship a bit more 'flavor'. Nevertheless, it's a very good MOC for your first time. Keep it up and hope to see more of your original MOCs here. PS: LOL at the backstory, Cap't. Dan went missing (!), and I love the comparison pics with the two other cruisers.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

There's always the possibility, but there are no guarantees. But based on the regularity of the magnet set releases the past couple of years, we might be able to see Bossk in one one of these days. Probably in a Bounty Hunter magnet set, especially now since there have been a ton of other bounty hunters to choose from (released recently or will be released) = Bane, Bossk, new Boba, Shahan, (Aurra), (Sugi), (Embo), the old Dengar, assassin droid - take your pick, there are a lot of possible combinations. -
Welcome to EB Tricky-Bricky! Hope to see your original MOCs soon, see you at the SW forum.

Hi Guilherme and welcome to Eurobricks. Glad to hear another "force-sensitive" joining amongst us. Hope to your reviews soon and enjoy the site!

The figure list in the box is probably one of the first preliminary photos. The 'newer' figure list replacing Anakin with Vos might be the updated prelim pic. Maybe TLG decided to put in another new jedi to possibly attract more buyers for the T-6 shuttle.
-
Ooohh, I love the small details you put in there - the mechanical arms, the lights at the floor with connecting wires, the droid at the right (T6/T7? I forgot the name). Keep the photos coming! Btw, I like this new idea of posting the progress of your MOC photo-by-photo, it makes people look more into the details of your creation. Unlike when you show them all in one presentation, people tend to miss out on some of the amazing details, which I know you've put a lot of effort doing.

But don't you think it's kinda wrong if they retain the 'Clone Commando' name for the green clone which is clearly not a Commando? I think it would be better if they made a new helmet mold for the Commandos or change the name of the green clone trooper in the BP. And like what DarthSion said, wouldn't it be also wrong if Sugi was not in her own ship? Maybe that's just a mix-up and Cato will appear in a later set.
-
Oh sorry I'm not just so familiar with uncommon non-SW elements. So I guess that explains how the stickers look very professionally-printed, but they do look a perfect fit for the podracer's color scheme.
-
I'm pretty sure it is going to be the generic Lightning Squadron-type ARF troopers (middle one), the camouflaged ones are just hard to pull-off considering the complexity of the camo prints. Besides, I can clearly see from the photos that they are not camouflaged. Hmmm, it would really be interesting to know how would they pull-off the black eyes of the ARF. I personally would prefer a black head like the OT's biker scout troopers wherein the helmet has a 'hole' for the eyes. But since it's CW, it'll probably be printed helmet with the generic clone face. From what I can make out of the blurry photos it will be a newly-designed BARC Speeder, more accurate to the real one, and not like the one we got from the old CTT. I see the front opening exhaust, front twin flaps, long rear part and two rear flaps/blasters in the BARC speeder.
-
Sweet! Those engines are huge and really fits very well for a badass racing machine. I love those decals (they are custom made right?) and the black-red color scheme is consistent througout the podracer and gives it the overall 'villainy' look. Props also to the post-edited backgrounds. Very nicely done Oky!

Those are indeed really artistic shots Burman. Forgive my photography ignorance, but are those shots directly from the camera or post-edited versions? BTW, congrats for being a Count!
