Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
XimenaPaulina replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
While waiting for Dippet, would you like to duel with ''The Queen'', Flashburn? -
Excellent work benny! The brickbuilt HSBC logo using those cheese slopes is truly ingenious. Gotta love those textured rectangular pillars and the various details both in the external architecture and interiors. Really great stuff!
-
Thanks. But haven't I emphasized it enough that this version is based on the Clone Wars series and not on the movies? (it's even in the title).

Excellent Miniland rendition of the classic Bespin Duel Mood! Both figures are instantly recognizable and the action posing really captures the fight scene very well. Another impressive and unique creation!

Ravenclaw Student Kestrel Kingfisher versus Ravenclaw Adept Walter Kovacs Round 3 Kestrel Kingfisher l 1 _______________________Walter Kovacs l 5 Protego! - 0___________________________________Protego! - 0 Low - 0 ______________________________________Protego! - 0 High - 0______________________________________ Crucio! - 1 Low - 0_______________________________________Protego! - 0 Mid - 0 _______________________________________Protego! - 0 Health: 0_____________________________________Health: 5 With the newcomer Kestrel Kingfisher hanging by a thread for his dear life, Walter knows this is his duel for the taking. As he was about to finish off his opponent, he saw the notorious Slytherin Death-Eater Diana Fabray at the sides and winked at him, and inexplicably he cast a shield charm as Kestrel did also. The student tried to make a move and aimed at Walter's feet, but the adept blocked with his second Protego in a row. Walter has had enough, and he finally put Kestrel out of his misery with a Cruciatus curse, followed by another pair of perplexing shield charms. "What the heck is happening?", Walter wondered for a bit, and then helped his fellow Ravenclaw get up his feet."You have much to learn rookie," the Adept advised the student, as Diana walks away in the background laughing naughtily. Congratulations Walter! A rough start at Wizards Duel Captain Tamamono, but there are still lots of duels to be won. You may now update your character profiles accordingly. -
Sorry I didn't elaborate well. These two are the theme songs of the two flagship shows of WWE - Monday Night RAW (Burn it to the Ground) and Friday Night Smackdown! (Written in the Stars).

A very peaceful neighborhood - that's the first thing I thought about this town block. I really like the simplistic, conservative yet effective look of the buildings. Very nice work Calvin!

Ravenclaw Student Kestrel Kingfisher versus Ravenclaw Adept Walter Kovacs Round 2 Kestrel Kingfisher l 3 _______________________Walter Kovacs l 5 Mid - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 Silencio! - 0 __________________________________Low - 1 High - 0_____________________________________ High - 0 Low - 0______________________________________Crucio! - 1 Protego! - 0 __________________________________Mid - 0 Health: 1_____________________________________Health: 5 It has been a rough start for newcomer Kestrel Kingfisher, as his more experienced opponent opens up a sizeable lead over him. Walter senses fear through the eyes of his fellow Ravenclaw, and wastes no time kick-starting the second round by quickly disarming Kestrel and then sweeps him off his feet with a low spell. The adept continues to pound on the downed student, casting a spell aimed towards his head, but Kestrel deflect the attack with a similar spell. Kestrel feebly tries to hit Walter on the legs, only to be stunned by a Cruciatus curse unleashed by the more experienced Ravenclaw. Walter attempts to make quick work of Kestrel, targeting the 'finishing' spell towards his opponent's body, but Kestrel manages to block it with a shield charm, and stays alive in this duel. The question is, for how long? All is not lost for Kestrel, but you need a miracle on the last round to turn this around. Send in your Round 3 DSs when ready. -
Very interesting speeder design, especially the unique triangular angles of the front part. The gear details on the sides are pretty neat too, as is the detachable function of this build. Very well done!

Ravenclaw Student Kestrel Kingfisher versus Ravenclaw Adept Walter Kovacs Round 1 Kestrel Kingfisher l 5 _______________________Walter Kovacs l 5 Low - 0______________________________________High - 1 High - 0 _____________________________________High - 0 Protego! - 0__________________________________Low - 0 Mid - 0______________________________________Expelliarmus! - 0 High - 0 _____________________________________Crucio! - 1 Health: 3_____________________________________Health: 5 There's a new student duelist in Hogwarts, Kestrel Kingfisher, and he immediately challenges anyone for his baptismal duel. Adept Walter Kovacs grabs the opportunity to take on the newcomer and accepts the challenge of his fellow Ravenclaw. Kestrel starts quickly with a low sweeping spell targeting Walter's legs, but the more experienced duelist reads his opponent's move and hits Kestrel with a head spell. "Too predictable," the Adept uttered. Walter follows up with another high-arching shot but Kestrel deflects the attack this time with the same spell. The adept then targets his rival's feet, only for his low spell to be blocked with Kestrel's shield charm. Showing lightning-quick reflexes, Walter casts a surprising combination of back-to-back spells, first disarming Kestrel with an Expelliarmus and immediately following it up with a powerful Cruciatus curse that sends the rookie sprawling to the ground. Using his experience advantage, Walter takes a head start over his fellow Ravenclaw in the opening round. Will Kestrel be able to recover in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DSs when ready. -
Happy Birthday CopMike! Hope you enjoyed your day!

I've received Tamamono's DS, just awaiting yours Walter. -
Lovely, beautiful, very elegant train station... I love the diamond cheese slope wall designs and the subtle but effective tan stripes along the length of the walls. Simply a magnificent creation mrts!

It's rather hard to tell from the picture, but swinging up isn't really the correct way it should open. Technically the real cockpit piece should slide forward, though I have doubts that we'll get that. The simple lifting up of the cockpit piece, like in previous versions, will do.

Me like it too! Very well done custom Pokemon figs Joris! Ash, Misty and Brock are really great minifig representations of the real characters, and the brickbuilt Pikachu and that magnet pokemon (forgot the name) are nicely done too.

I'm lovin' this garage rock studio! The effective posing of the rock band players really captures a practice session scene very well. Good job Ravenous Plissken! Rock on!

That's actually good Hinck, but it's just maybe we are all used now to using the megablock word to connote something bad. How about using a more positive word replacement, like.... LOVE. Just imagine this supposed to be 'curse post' translating to repetitive lines of LOVE YOU! LOVE YOU! LOVE YOU! LOVE YOU! EB would be one post more lovelier of a place to be.

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa

No worries Pandora, when I learned that you were scum I was actually very impressed with your "Best actress in an Innocent role" performance. No feeling of betrayal whatsoever, even the slightest bit. Amen to that. Interestingly for some strange reason, I initially thought you were scum Doc, but went with my instincts and trusted you 75%. No problem with the investigation, on hindsight, I'm actually thankful that you investigated me and proved my innocence. If my innocence wasn't proved especially in the latter part of the game, you might've lynched me for acting suspicious with my loud public rants. So it all went right in the end. -
I agree, you really nailed the forced-perspective shot this time. The tilted staircase for the bridge is quite clever, and I also love the built of that mini-dragon. Wait, there are dragons in the SW universe?

Three words I wouldn't want to hear from young Ackbar in the series: Seriously. Or I will stop watching the show for good. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa

Of course I did, since you're scum! What do you expect me to do, make friends with someone who'll kill me in the end? Which makes me curious, why didn't you kill me even if I was annoying as hell with all my lengthy analysis/accusations and my signature dare for the mafia to kill me? I seriously thought I will be killed by the mafia by Night One. Of course! That's the beauty of this game, after all has been said and done, we throw everything out the window and go back to normality. I think the greatest thing I got out from playing this game aside from gaining the experience of mafia gameplay, is making friends in the process. Members which I wouldn't have had the chance to interact with before, like you, Tamamono, Kartoffel, Dan, Pandora, smittyfan, Gregorovich, Baylego, are now like my 'batchmates' and this game has somehow introduced us to each other. And for that, I'm really thankful for this game.
