  1. I tried to re-deeplink them, can you see them now?
  2. I seriously hope this is true, since these self-contained LULs are lovely.
  3. Things that I really like about this batch - Ryu's long headband, Guile's accurate torso and leg decals, and Zangief's mohawk. Excellent work as always tiin7! Eagerly looking forward for Series 3.
  4. As promised, here's Version 2, with a couple of subtle modifications which I think improved the look of this BARC: 1. After realizing (lately) that the 2-slope wide rear part is too blocky, I decided to follow the BP BARC 1-slope set-up with some minor mods and following Mr Man's suggestions of using cheese wedges for a more continuous transition to a sloping end. I'm now happy with the slimmer shape and getting that grey patch detail at the rear. Here's the reference image of the slim rear part. 2. I replaced the ski rear flaps with 1x2 tiles as suggested by DobbyClone. The size is much better now. Reference image . Comparison with the 7913 BARC: Other views: UPDATED First Post with Version 2. Well that's it. I think I'm satisfied now with this one, and will stick with this version for the moment.
  5. Oh so delicious SNOT goodness! Excellent job on achieving the overall smooth finish of this Chinook futtigue! What a wonderful way to get back in the building scene after a long hiatus.
  6. What a lovely creation Alibabo! I've never been into any Mediterranean town, but from what I've seen in the movies and television, your build really captures the overall feel of a true Mediterranean atmosphere. Impressive job!
  7. Thanks sok! With regards to the decapitated legs, I just experimented trying brickdoctor's technique, but the minifig can be positioned in the normal sitting pose in the model. I made a silly mistake and forgot to copy the new photos in my flash disk. I shall post the slightly-improved version when I get back at home after work.
  8. Your point? Anyway, it's a good entry with some nice SNOT techniques but certainly not the best I've seen from all the other entries.
  9. Honestly, there really iz no point in arguing anymore. Panda is just doing what she's supposed to do - defend herself to ze max even if it's already a lost cause. Ironically, our last vote iz very anti-climactic, and is ze easiest that we've had since this ordeal happened. So without further ado, I shall cast ze final nail on the coffin. Vote: Panda Panjin (Pandora)
  10. Why does this Hello Kitty skin look awfully familiar.... Hmmmm...
  11. Thanks Fangy! Funny thing is, this small 'project' also started when I finally opened my 7913 Clone BP which has been lying around the house for a couple of months now. I appreciated the build of the BP BARC, but as usual I felt the need to modify it to the point that I overhauled the design and came up with this one. I'm quite happy with it, and when I find some solutions to the 'other' slight inaccuracies I still continually modify it along the way. Though one disclaimer to those who will build this - this is an extremely fragile model due to many illegal connections, and that clip connection beneath the driver area is the most fragile of 'em all.
  12. Guys I would appreciate it if you continue this debate over 'accuracy issue' of SW MOCs on a separate topic (as def suggested). My only intention was to share my MOC and do not wish for this topic to be abruptly locked due to this heated discussion. Thank you. Now back to general programming. (I shall post a slightly revised version tomorrow when I'm done with the photos).
  13. I'm really lovin' your double-decker bus design OOS! The baggage compartment and toilet are pretty neat details, but what I'm more impressed is how you applied the constructive criticisms and suggestions to make this a better model. Kudos also to the animated images presentation. Very well done overall!
  14. Yes, but in dark blue variants. Nice collection BTW.
  15. OH NO!!! Why, of all people, it haz to be you Panda? I honestly thought you were one of us, but ze investigation results can't lie. And as much as it breaks my heart, we have to do what we have to do, and we'll have to lynch you out today and let Mr. Crusoe ultimately decide your fate. If you have ze chance, pls. speak up, we cannot change your destiny but at least we'll understand ze reason behind why you joined (or was forced to join like Erin) the mafia goons.
  16. Hmmm.. interesting architecture set. It's actually the first time I've seen this Farnsworth House, nice modern design but not really as iconic as the other previously-released architecture sets. Anyway, thanks for sharing this review Drudoo.
  17. Thanks guys for the positive feedback, much appreciated. Thanks cralegoboy, it took me a while to get back so I hope this little build will translate into more MOCs in the coming months (granting real life premits it). I think we just have to respect each others' approach. Some go for accuracy, some for aesthetics, some in between, each MOCer has his/her own way of doing things, and whatever rocks their boat is what's important.
  18. Pretty neat camper design, it's nice to know you made this out of your inspiration from your childhood camping memories. Looking forward seeing this in real brickbuild. Nice work and welcome to the forums ale8oneboy!
  19. Excellent review MB! It's a great read from start to finish and I really like the various angle shots of the turbo shredder, makes me appreciate the vehicle better. With regards to the set, it's average for me. It has some nice selection of parts that I don't have, but still not enough to warrant a purchase from me.
  20. I'm on the other side of the fence, I, for one, like the unusual 'boxy' design and the bare driver seat in front. I actually think it's a funny and strategic idea at the same time - now who would fire at the cute alien? Anyway, pretty neat work VLMN8R!
  21. Yeah you're right. I think I'm juzt too stressed out by what haz been happening the past week. I need a vacation. Oh wait, I'm already in one.
  22. I appreciate your clarification, if only you have worded your comments a little bit better then I wouldn't have taken it the wrong way. Giving constructive criticisms is perfectly normal, but the manner on how it is delivered is important, so as to prevent any conflicts. I hope everybody understands that. Anyway, my responses are in blue.
  23. Congratulations to the winners! Enjoy your white Bobas.
  24. Just when I thought I've patched things us with Siegmund, ze lone mafia goon kills him during ze night and makes him poor giant ants meal. We'll try to avenge you and ze rest ze murdered innocents. Did I hear that right? Killers? I thought there's just only one scum remaining? Or maybe Mr. Crusoe made a mistake?
  25. Uhm, I do not how to take your comments brickartist/DobbyClone, I feel some slight 'insults' are incorporated in there. I am in no way claiming that I have the most accurate BARC version, but to say that I'm not going for accuracy is completely wrong. What's the point of making my own BARC if I could just use the blocky BP version if I'm not concerned with accuracy? Wrong again. What makes you think I don't want to improve my model? I'm not gunning for perfection (can someone really achieve "perfection"? ), but if I see something that I don't like I'm going to change it. And as I said, this is not a perfect model, that's why I made several other modifications, which I'll put the images tomorrow. Go ahead and give me you points and let's debate about it.
