  1. That's quite a nice collection of Brickarms weapons CA, especially with the prototypes and rares that you have. Among these I really like the golden gun and the ray gun. The retired olive green color looks interesting too, though the current camouflaged variants somehow made up for its absence.
  2. And to even things out a bit, I'm going with Flare for the moment even without his first entry. Now go ahead you two and entertain us!
  3. Even for a promo set, you really did a great review on this one -R8- especially with the excellent photos! And surprisingly, I find this neat little polybagged set one of the cutest I've seen. Instantly recognizable basic frog model and nice source of green hinge plates too.
  4. Drop-dead AWESOME! Those apartment buildings are simply sensational, gotta love the accurate and intricate details and some unique building techniques I've never seen before (roofwork of the red apartment). Now this is what you call a grand entrance to EB! Definitely a most impressive job SvS and welcome to the forums!
  5. I 100% agree! It somehow reminds me of the different types of zombies in the Plants VS Zombies game. Will we see the other CMS figs zombified as well?
  6. Your cement truck is much better then TLG's version I must say. Nice to see this scaled-down System version retain almost all the details of your great Model Team cement truck. Great job as always Lasse D!
  7. That is actually what makes this 3D rendering more impressive, putting all your effort to create the individual pieces and not simply going the easy path of using existing models. So kudos to that!
  8. Looking good Clanure, I kinda expected the relatively fast rotation of the PF motor, and I'm not much of a Technic expert so I have no idea how to make the rotation slower. I understand how you want to be conservative so that the details won't distract much the minifig display themselves, but maybe you could put some curved slopes at the corners/sides to slightly tone down the overall blocky feel of the display? How about putting some ribbed bricks and/or vertical tiles-on-headlight bricks at the base of the display for some surface variation? Did you also consider putting lighting inside? (probably light bricks at the top). These are just some minor suggestions which I think ain't too much but will improve the aesthetics of the display. Of course you could always play around with some of your own techniques to spice-up it up your way.
  9. Very nice mechanical-looking Ogre, not bad at all for a 30-minute impulse build. The huge blocky wedge parts do give it some muscular look, it only needs a "few more hours at the gym to bulk up" more, if you know what I mean. The face and the hammer are well done also.
  10. Excellent 3D model noreha! Can't wait to see the finished digital model.
  11. Very nice! Looks much even better in real bricks! The opening hood and rear compartment are really pretty neat details.
  12. Oh yeah, I never realized you got the ball and socket assembly to work. Same here, I had trouble doing that also, especially when I did the LDD renders of my gunships.
  13. I see you've smoothed out most of the surface studs of TLG's version with some slope/tile-work on this digital design, which is a nice improvement. I understand the use of the ball-&-socket for the laser cannon, the spherical shape is indeed more accurate than the disc-assembly on the official one, though I really wish it would have been a bit larger (nothing you could really do about that).
  14. Excellent job on this unique and ingenious rotating minifig display stands Clanure! I'm certainly looking forward for the future PF version of this one. The only thing I could suggest probably is spicing up the all-white design with some color variation or adding some highlights/details.
  15. Oh wow, this is truly a fantastic entry kris kelvin! This is really like an Exclusive Collector's Set with all the elegant-looking chess pieces and the built-in storage drawers. Simply an outstanding work!
  16. Yep, and you could always ask our friendly neighborhood mods/admins to change the title for you. Don't worry, they don't bite.
  17. Clean, simple, but more importantly, it gets the job done in conveying Dastan's escape scene pretty well. Nice work!
  18. Very ingenious additional mods to Artoo Solscud! It's the first time I've seen someone pull off these thrusters and periscope details, both of these go really well with the rotating head and third leg.
  19. Uh-oh, I don't think we're supposed to hijack Masked & Flare's thread JCC. I just re-posted that ' Bieber photo' to make fun of their hair (I guess it gave the wrong impression), but let's leave the two alone to whack each other with their own entries.
  20. No problem, I'm glad to be of service. Now it's time for Ms. Fabray to duel again, and she'd like to challenge the only duelist she hasn't beaten yet - fellow Slytherin Death-Eater Carlos Peerce.
  21. I think the one you quoted are for mastery spells (Crucio, Stupefy, Expelliarmus, etc.), which is limited to only one use per round. Regular spells (low, mid, high, silencio, protego) can be used more than once per round, though.
  22. Good to see another Whack-off thread, though you have your work cut out for you guys, matching the hilarity of Oky's and Jammie's entries is a tough task. But this is a nice start MB, looking forward how Flare would respond. BTW, I can't help but notice, do both of you MB and Flare happen to be Bieber fans? (George G's photo from the SW Funnies thread. Sorry can't help it!)
  23. Gryffindor Student Clen Vierno versus Ravenclaw Student Kestrel Kingfisher Round 3 Clen Vierno l 2 ____________________________Kestrel Kingfisher l 3 High - 0____________________________________Protego! - 0 Silencio! - 0 ________________________________Mid - 1 Protego! - 0__________________________________High - 0 Low - 1_____________________________________Mid - 0 Mid - 0 _____________________________________Low - 1 Health: 0__________________________________Health: 2 Knowing that time is not on his side, Clen Vierno begins the decisive round with an aggressive high spell aimed towards Kestrel's head, but the Ravenclaw adeptly blocks with a timely Protego. The Gryffindor attempts to silence his opponent with a Silencio, however, Kestrel's spell breaks through and hits him in the body. With his rival hanging by a thread, Kestrel tries to end the duel with a high-arching spell, only to be countered with a shield charm. Down but not out, Clen casts a desperate low spell that manages to knock Kestrel off his feet. Seeing his rival floored, the Gryffindor jumps into the air and aims a potential duel-tying shot at Kestrel's torso, but the Ravenclaw, showing quick recovery, hits his airborne opponent with a feet-knotting spell, sending Clen to the ground unconscious. Winner: Kestrel Kingfisher! Congratulations Captain Tamamono! Kestrel has now achieved Practitioner status. Better luck next time ceroknight, your first win will come soon. Piece of advice though: Limit using the weak Silencio spell. You may now update your character profiles accordingly.
  24. Happy Happy Birthday Fabulistic Fellow Rufus!
  25. Very nice little vig, the use of those grille slope pieces for the speakers is quite clever. The monitor screen is your own decal right?
