  1. This set literally stopped me in my tracks when I saw it for the first time. I left the store with 3. I have 12 now. I am working on building them all stock just to take a picture of them all together (I have three sets left to go...and yes it has gotten very old building the same set over and over but I want that picture). After, I am going to start modifying and turning them into more customized designs. I actually built one substituting green bricks for the tan and it looks kind of cool. Anyway...great review for a great set. Thanks
  2. That would be awsome but could you imagine the mess we would have made and our parents reaction to that many lego being on the floor at once....aw it would have been fun though!
  3. I have been into pirates for years. I own many sets old and new that account for a fair number but over the years I have bought loads off eBay. If there is a large offering of soldiers chances are I bought them. I have also bought large lots of parts off bricklink and assembled figures. Finally I try to buy several collections a year off craigs list. If I think switching a hat or head can convert a figure into a pirate or villager or salior I do it. Mostly I am a minifigure collecting freak.
  4. A few months ago I was pulling down a 40-50 lb container of unsorted mixed lego from the rafters in the garage. It wasn't in a rubber maid bin it was some other cheap target brand (110 oz.) and I lost my grip while on the ladder. The bin actually exploded into tiny shards. My only luck came in that I had just cleaned and swept the garage the day before. It took me an entire afternoon to clean the mess and transfer into a new bin. I still find little pieces of exploded bin shards mixed in with those bricks. That really sucked!
  5. Poor Harry! That can't be good...even in the wizarding world. I wonder if they have a potion for that?
  6. I am also a HP fan and thought this was not only funny as heck but also very cleverly thought out. I doubt that is exactely as JK might have imagined it but there is probably some truth in you fiction since we know so much more about the character know than we did in Book 1. Keep up coming. I'd love to see some misadventures of Filtch and his cat or the Fat lady and some of the old Headmasters or say 7th year's on Spring Break in 1066 or Slytherin hazzing rituals, or Hogwarts prom king and queen or scenes from around the water cooler at the ministry of magic...I could go on all day
  7. The minifigs are great. They look like the modern day A-Team! Great base and vehicles too. I want to know what's next for the "MILITIA"!
  8. I have seen it. I wasn't interested at first but it kind of drew me in. I like those period pieces usually if they aren't too soft. I thought she did an amazing job with her take on the character. I don't know how accurate the portrails were. I didn't care for the kings much. Great sets and costumes and of course the cake!
  9. Great show. Very funny. Can't wait for season 3.
  10. I like the MOC and many of your building methods. It does look nice and peaceful but I am imagining it as five minutes before a viking hoard sweeps through the country side.
  11. I love this! The building is really nice. The tower and the details on the front are really nice. I do acrea that it needs a few more people to bring a little more life into the scene. The cobblestones have me convinced that I need to go in that dirrection with my work! The clor combination of the cobbles seems to be perfect. Did you try out several different color ratios before settling on the one you used because you really captured it well?
  12. That is just plain hillarious! Great pictures too! Perhaps' the pirates should respond to the Walrus threat by recruiting an army of pink starfish to devour them.
  13. Your ship looks promising indeed and I love the planning MOC. But be warned that rumor has it there is a turncoat in your midst. Redcoat spies are everywhere....your security may already be underminded.
  14. More meat for the Redcoat grinder! Great job with the army. You can really tell you spent a lot of time picking out the right heads and accessories. The Blackcoats look great. I can't wait to see them in action. I've notified my commanders to be on high alert for a morivated well trained enemy force that is on the move!
  15. Stunning. She is beautiful in every detail. The rigging is just remarkable. I can't begin to imagine the time you must have spent on that alone but your combined efforts truely show through in the finished work. This is a ship for the ages. I can only hope her war record will reflect the care and attention that created this beautiful killing machine. Now we now why the French feared the might of the British Royal Navy and Napoleon's domination ended when the water reached his saddle. It is ships like this that launched the British Empire and helped shape the history of the world today. Very impressive gentlemen.
  16. I'd go with one that is missing a head...maybe a nice blood stain!
  17. That did it. I am now a Brickmaster subscriber. Thanks
  18. That is a nice looking ship. I like the design and the size. Can't wait to see 2.0 version.
  19. The whole presentation is so nicely done and well thought out. Plus there is the howitzer...I thought it was British to be exact. Beautiful design. Great sequences.
  20. That is soooo darn creative! You are really good...I am genuinly jelous of your talent and imagination. So cool.
  21. Toasted Bluecoat...yum, one of my favorites!
  22. Wouldn't that make me King George III? Hey it's good to be the King.
  23. Which proves the Bluecoats are British navy!
  24. Those look great. How about a staw hat?
