  1. ...said Napoleon at Waterloo?
  2. You make it sound like a bad thing!
  3. My army always stands ready to help put down the French threat.
  4. Wow. I love the curves and the steps!
  5. That is very special. What a great idea to build in perspective! Beautifully done!
  6. The warning is dually noted.
  7. I really like the little rock outcrop and greenery at the base. It does seem to capture that classic-pirates feel. Well done.
  8. Very nice. I believe this poor fellow is truely caught between the devil and the deap blue sea.
  9. A lovely looking ship. She actually has interesting lines on those hulls. The sails are terrific.
  10. Maybe the little red thing is some extra fuse or a lighter box. or it could be that the cannon just blow out a worn fuse plug. I love the customs!
  11. I've spent many an hour with the old tooth brush. I've often wondered about compressed air (key board stuff) but never tried out of fear it would launch smaller pieces. If you wanted to keep it together you might just try dipping the whole set and gently running some water through it. I've been putting my completed sections of the port into storage containers (not very space effiecent) to keep the dust off so that they don't get covered by the time the thing is finished. It seems to work as some have been in the containers for months and they don't have a speck (while the lids have a lot).
  12. I think the proportions are beautiful. It could easily be expanded but it could also be a smaller fortification covering the enterance to an important water way that stands in support to a main fortification that houses a port garrison, etc. The port I am working on actually has four forts and this size would be perfect for three of them.
  13. Very cool. I will be sad if it isn't released in the US. You know I can't get enough minifigures or accessories!
  14. I think it looks good but I would make the outer walls bigger and add space at the top of the walls for guns and people, etc. I like the six window design but it looks like you could move them up a brick or two. Nice work. I always get so frustrated when I try to do anything in designer. Takes a lot of patience.
  15. Alright. These look like they will be close to the right size. I'll have to grab some of those lable sheets today and then see what I can do. I'll let you know how I am doing and I'll post a picture if I can get one together. Thanks again!
  16. She seems virtually industructable. Very nice.
  17. Yes they print out very large when I print them. A little more than half a page in size.
  18. Those are great. Thanks. Let me play around with these and see if I can make them work with the printing, etc. How do you get the printed size correct? If I can I might like some spanish military! Thanks again
  19. I'd like to do a few in the wrap style and copy your Hornblower figure. Then do a bunch of nice looking French Troops. Here's a follow up question on the Governor torso. It seems a little dressy to me as well to be a common soldier so what if the torso was used to represent French naval officers?
  20. I like it. It seems very functional. I like how you have combined some old and new elements. Pictures are a little grainy though.
  21. That would nice. How do you print them?
  22. I have not. They any good?
  23. For my part I much prefer the CS Forester Hornblower series. Some books are better than other for sure but I've read them all ten times if I've read them once.
  24. Original as I've no experience with making decals.
  25. Thats fantastic. I will be stealing from you! I agree with Super. It looks realistic for forts built to take cannon fire. It looks like the facade of the outer walls is just leaned back and sort of pinned in at the bottom with the tiles and at the top with the overhanging bricks then there are sloping bricks behind it. Is that correct? I have a 42" monitor that really helps show the details!
