  1. She is magnificent! Great colors and beautiful lines.
  2. Some of it is sorted. Some is in bagged set form. Some is just loose mixed. The three large grey containers on the middle level contain elements of the port that are somewhat complete. The tranparent blue container in the middle has space, vehicle, train stuff that I am going to sell off. You can see the minifigures top left at rest waiting for a proper home. So this is my collection it is always growing as demonstraighted by the five islander sets in their original boxes I bought off craigslist for next to nothing just a few hours ago. Oh ya and the back end of the elliptical machine where I work out and get ispiration for future creations. Can you tell my wife and kids are out of town for the weekend?
  3. hmmm. That's a good point. I only have about 45 horses. I'll have to give that some attention.
  4. Absolutely for real though my wife probably wishes it was a hoax!
  5. I figured it out. Cool. 1,676 souls that inhabit the Port of Brick Royal The 436 Blood Thirsty Pirates
  6. 196 Cannons and 9 mortors for the Port of Brick Royal. I actually have 10 or so more but they are bagged up with sets right now. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112411
  7. 71a http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112397 As I was taking pictures of my minifigures tonight I thought I'd take a few of the massive treasure of the Port of Brick Royal. The treasure is so massive that is takes some 783 Royal Forces to protect it against the 436 blood thirsty pirates bent on stealing it.
  8. Here are the links to the other minifigure photos of my Port inhabitants http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112390 http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112391 http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112393 http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112395
  9. 100% Real
  10. I have no idea how to post a photo here? Here is a link to my Royal Forces page on MOC Pages. It consists of 783 minifigures. 7 New Redcoat Governors 8 New Redcoat Officers 160 New Redcoat Soldiers 6 Redcoat Generals 5 Redcoat Majors 32 Redcoat Sergeants 128 Redcoat Soldiers 13 Admirals 130 Naval Officers 62 Special Naval Soldiers 25 Naval Officers in great coats 200 Seamen 7 Spaniards http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/112389
  11. I missed the whole thing. Great joke though! Now when I post pictures of my large army everyone will think its fake...thanks. I don't even know how to use photoshop. I do know how to use bricklink and craigslist.
  12. I use lots of different minifigures from Adventurers, Western, Indiana Jones, Vikings, Castle, Town, HP, some star wars, ninjas, Agents (not the torsos but there are some cool heads and some piraty hair (gold, red and black). There are lots of various torsos that make good pirates, towns people even a few that work for soldiers. I have a few of the Indiana Jones natives that I use along with the islanders. I like them a lot. I use my native amaricans as pirates. Brings in some diversity. I must have around 1,500 minifigures in my collection (not counting space related which I strip for parts then through in a box). I am not squimish about mixing fleshy minifigures with the classics. The more variation the happier I am. I am going to take some pictures of them all tomorrow and get them posted.
  13. I agree whole heartedly. It seems like such a waste to pay $15 for a blue base plate second hand when Lego can sell them new for six bucks. We need new blue coats. I'll buy 150 as soon as they come out (if they come out I should say). You can put we down for at least six of those big imperial ships. All I ask is that you keep the cartoony symbols off the sails. Go with the classic stripes. Keep expanding pick a brick. There is a good reason it is always in the top five best seller category!
  14. There is no shortage of older sets on ebay. If you like those (and who doesn't) buy them. I want new sets from TLG with new parts and colors and figures. Use bricklink to replace sails and masts and painted wall sections and add anchors if you can't live with or without them. I hope they make more new sets for years to come. I would love to have the chance to buy a (and by "a" I mean a whole bunch) new imperial ship and new bluecoats. The fact of the matter is they will make more sets if they determine that they can make more money than producing some other theme. I for one am making the most of what they are offering now and buying all I can.
  15. Guss 4 Erdbeereis 2 I Scream Clone 1 Let me say thank you to everyone who submitted. I really enjoyed looking at your work. I saw many things I never imagined could be built along with building technics that left me scratching my head. All very impressive! Thanks again!
  16. I love the islander's. I have a number of sets. I wish I had them all. I like them for the "unofficial" adventures that can be played out between the islander's and the pirates. The pirates certainly would want to get their grubby hands on the islander loot (as would the imperials) but also from the point of view that the pirates are often in my adventures treaspassing on their remote lands for hidouts, repairs, supply raids, etc. Having them adds a complexity to your story...its not just pirates vs. soldiers all the time. The islander's also provide a different cultural and moral perspective. A soldiers might kill, wound, execute a pirate but would be less likely to say dine on one or feed one to a croc. I think I'll go buy some more....so remember they are terrible nobody else should go looking to buy any.
  17. One of my all time favorites. The detail and colors really bring it to life. Very very impressive.
  18. I am also guilty of being an army builder so I have to go with the musket. I also can't seem to get enough cannons.
  19. I hope you don't have one of those low flow toilets. They can't handle anything beyond the size of a Renegade Runner or Cross Bone Clipper ship!
  20. I've got a bunch of those cannon battles and so I took a look last night and immediately 6 or 7 of the different lighter green jumped out at me (they are all packed in a rather tight standing formation at the moment mixed in with ranks of other pirates so I didn't get an accurate count).
  21. That is cool. You can really build it! It has so much life and detail. Your MOC's are always in motion. I could look it that thing all day trying to guess how you did certain parts. Thanks
  22. An absolute 5! I have over 100 of these and counting. Now we just need bluecoats.
  23. Nope...they aren't in my local lego store yet.
  24. They are available online through the lego website in the US for $4.99. Must have just become available today. I'll have to swing by and see if they have any in their store.
  25. 9 Blue 8 Red 21 Brown 38 Total
