Welcome. I love your city. I have visited it three times. I would also like to see some pictures of your crane. I have never built much technic but always saw the appeal.
-
well this proves to me you can be disturbed and funny but hey most comedians are pretty messed up people really.

That spear would have scewered a wild boar. Awsome brick built design.

Thanks. That's a real compliment comming from a terrific builder such as yourself. I get so many ideas and inspirations seeing the creations others are making. This is such a great site...just being here makes one a better builder. I built this for my wife. It came with reservations for a weekend getaway up to the Napa Valley.

They're still pirates so it's got to be rum! Rum and mud... Not a bad idea really!

Vig. 79d Even pirates need to get away and relax once in a while! Hope you enjoy it.

Brilliant! This would make an excellent pirate lair. All it needs is a ship, some prirates and some treasure and a few cannons. This has really sparked my imagination on things that can be done in the pirate world. We are classic-pirates but you just don't see enough piratical MOC here. Great job. The rocks, walkways, tree, dripping water...the overall shape and feel are absolutely perfect. I'd love to see it dressed up with pirates etc., if you have those type of things in your collection!

Lets talk about Cannon Battle some more!

Heaven knows the bluecoats need the practice. I imagine the redcoats probably die of boredom waiting for a bluey to find the mark! -
Very nice MOC. I like the use of the red. It gives it a more playful classic feel. The diverse selection of figures also works well. Those green doors are hard to come by. I think I only have two as well.

OK duh? I must have been having a slow brain moment...Thanks. I actually end up using just a few parts from one building for windows. I do have a plan for them though but I am working on the Capstan Inn now that isn't really touching them much and then I am going to start working on Ft. Monck but down the road I will take them all apart. -
The good, the bad, and the imperials

Excellent! All that drama...music and hand twitching leading up to a girly slap fight was hillarious. You seem to spend a lot of time in that barrel. I hope you wash it out once in a while. -
I saw the sunglasses too. I am sorry but that head has to go. I also used a lot of mixed crews for priates. I use the old black and red stripe pirate torso and the new green stripe torso for pirates with the black or new dark green rag hats and the red and blue stripe torso and red and blue rag hats as naval sailors. Officers and marines are in uniform. Since I have only the British navy I don't have to worry about the red and blue issue.

I am sorry. I always forget the French don't feed their troops. Seeing all that food must be hard. Try if you dare! The guns of Passage Fort and Eldorado Fortress already stand in your way. When Ft. Monck is complete I will have ample rooms for you and your men. -
That is absolutely fantastic! What a beautiful bunch of buildings, people and the sail on the ship is just stunning. It is a really amazing MOC. Great job.

Well the Redcoats have a flag this is similar to the blue but I always thought of the blue as navy and red as army so I've stuck with that but if a new blue line comes out with the same flag then I am going with the blue flag as French....and I'll have a lot for sale Thanks...I enjoyed this one a great deal. and those are just some of the marines....there's a whole redcoat army too....so don't mess with the redcoats. When I have completed Fort Monck you'll get the full redcoat experience. -

Welcome Aboard! Great picture. When I was just about your age I had the exact same set up in my home office. That was the same age approximately that I rediscovered the classic pirates sets and began collecting all that I had missed out on...Well shortly after that my home office got coverted to my second daughters bedroom and I broke them all down and put them away for a few years while I was busy with two small children. Then they got older and I started collecting again and building but my time here has really inspired me to do more custom designs with Lego so welcome and keep building and collecting. -

Two reasons. 1) to drive home the point that the whole scene is Naval and I always thought of the blue flag as the naval one. If Lego releases a new line of Bluecoats with the inverted colors of the new Redcoats, then I'll make the Blue Flag French colors for the new figures. 2) I thought the Bluecoat supporters here would enjoy seeing the Blue flying high. Don't tell but the Blues are actually my favorite but only because they are British Navy to me. I support the Redcoats here because it seems that Bluecoat supporters here are for the French and Redcoats for the British...and I am for the British. and yet I seem to always be searching for that one part I just can't find or don't have! All I have for the moment is posted on my MOC Page. I took out all the food and loose items after photographing so I could store the building without having to worry about losing any of it. It took about 4 hours to set that MOC up for photographing and now the 92 Redcoats and 10 Bluecoats and horses are back in their respective containers waiting for their next shot a MOC glory. I started construction of the Capstan Inn last night so hopefully some of them and can back for an apperance in that MOC. -
Vig. 78b With the recent arrival of the HMS Lydia, a 36 Gun British Frigate, the great Navl Store House of the Port of Brick Royal springs to life. The salior and marines organize and transport stores to re-supply and out the legendary British Frigate so she may continue to dominate and destroy the French. Wagons are filled with ships stores and materials to maintain the wareship and her crew. Arms, black powder, and gold is also taken to the Lydia in support of her next mission against the French. The modular design allows for playability and access to all levels and areas of the interior. Visit my MOC Page for more images. My MOCPage I hope you enjoy this MOC and leave lots of posts!
