Thanks for the review, jansued! This set looks pretty good, though I still can't decide if I want it or not. I'll probably get it if it's $40, but probably not if it's $50. The pirates are awesome. They have some really detailed printing! Obi-wan is just OK, since you could previously only get him in the Republic Attack Gunship. However, I would have wanted a Jar-Jar and a few of those red colored clones instead. EDIT: I voted above average because the pirate tank looks really good, and the pirates have some good printing.

Correct. Here it is: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?B=810004 It came with the minifig and only one other chrome gold brick with printing on it. two bricks: a yellow 1 x 8 brick with the words "LEGO® Fan" and "ANNO 1958" printed on, and a 2 x 4 chrome gold brick with the years "1958 - 2008" printed on. I updated my list with some really old minifigs that are worth a lot. EDIT: Fixed a mistake I made...

I found a few more while searching for the highest price of minifigs on BrickLink (most of these are $20+): 50 Year Anniversary Minifig Classic - Knights Tournament Knight Black, Black Legs with Red Hips, Light Gray Helmet, Black Visor The Joker Geonosian With Wings Princess Leia Mace Windu, Non-Light-Up Emperor Palpatine (Imperial Inspection) Ninja - Green Princess Princess Leia (Cloud City) Chancellor Palpatine Luminara Unduli with Light-Up Lightsaber Complete Assembly Killer Croc Senate Commando Jabba the Hutt (Complete Assembly) More here: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&a...mp;searchSort=B EDIT: I'll add some expensive used minifigs later. Old/used minifigs: Overalls Gray on Orange with Pocket, Gray Legs, White Cap - Glued Maersk - White Torso (Sticker), Lt Gray Legs, Maersk Blue Cap Plain Black Torso with Black Arms, Black Legs, Yellow Construction Helmet, Yellow Vest Patron - Town Square (from 1592) There are a lot more here, but I'm too lazy to post them up.

I just found out that the minifig is on BrickLink (no inventory yet). Minifig: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=sw097 Package: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?G=4560075

A Cloud City printed Boba Fett is around $70.
-
A plastic helmet is worth $400? I think that the most expensive figure are those gold C-3POs. For regular minifigs that can be found in sets, I think that Cloud City Boba Fett and Greedo are some of the most expensive. EDIT: Fixed a typo...

I would love to see chrome spacemen in all colors. Or, better yet, I would love to see chrome figures in all themes.

Someone signed with the name "ur mom".

I think that you said the opposite of what darthperson said. He said that the chrome stormtroopers are probably higher quality, not the free chrome figures.
-
Yes, it does. I think that this was one of the best things LEGO ever did for LEGO Star Wars customers. A chrome stormie for only $13? That's an amazing deal. Now I can only hope that this appears in LEGO Stores and becomes a real LEGO product that will be available around the world.

Misprints and Other LEGO Production Oddities

You should sell/trade the pieces to ImperialShadows, then. By the way, you know that you can get replacement parts from LEGO.com, right? -
I don't read Indiana Jones books. Sorry. I still have yet to watch an Indiana Jones movie and buy an Indiana Jones LEGO set, so I have to start there to see how good IJ actually is before I start reading the books. Good luck on getting the book published, though.

Oh yes. Oh YES! I saw this over at BrickHorizon a week ago, and I thought that it was just a one foot tall model or something. I didn't know that it was that huge! 5' 3" is just a bit shorter than me. It would be great if that would be be given out at a contest or something...

I knew you were going to post this after what you said in the misprint and odd LEGO production things thread.

Misprints and Other LEGO Production Oddities
ILikePi replied to Navy Trooper Fenson's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I heard somewhere that people who build things at LEGOLands use the marbled bricks to support the inside of the sculptures and whatnot that are made, since they won't be seen from the outside. I wish I could get some cool looking messed up/marbled bricks and misprints. -

That's a cool misprint you got there, Navy Trooper Fenson. I don't have any misprints, since they're extremely rare. -
Some people at Mana Energy Potions made some crazy modifications to the Vulcan: http://www.manapotions.com/Chaingun.html http://www.instructables.com/id/The_Ultima...erf_Vulcan_Mod/

Oh, okay. Thanks for answering my questions. I'll print these soon on 8.5 X 11 paper and see how it looks, though my color printer might be low on ink. And L-Space, you can just buy one of those LEGO Star Wars sets that have the poster in the instruction manual.

Thanks for this great little review, def. This set is a bit overpriced, but what you get for the money (Tauntaun, Hoth Han Solo, two snowtroopers, and two hoth rebels) is a awesome deal. All of these minifigures will be new to me. EDIT: I voted above average for this nice little set.

Nice work, Millacol! It really looks like a Y-wing. The only thing I would recommend adding are greebles (maybe some 1 x 1 plates with clips to attach weapons like spears to) on the two brown plates in the middle.
-
Ah, okay. I have two magnifying glasses, but luckily I don't use them.
-
Except for the fact that when it's hot, it goes down instead of up.
-
Wow, that car looks nice. I would get it IF I had a job (so I could spend lots of money on LEGO).
-
Well, the only thing so far that I can find that I don't really understand is why Krum thinks "OMG! OMG! OMG!" when Ron says "You have a magnifying glass I see!" in the fourth comic. I'll find some more things that I don't understand later.
