  1. Comic Con 2009 It's from July 23-26. It looks like all tickets are sold out, though.
  2. Nice comics, CutlASS! They're all very funny (though I don't understand some parts). The part where Harry "fake-shoots" himself and spills the drink was hilarious. The same with Viktor saying "Where I keep my balls ya!" Keep up the good work! I'm going to save thee to my computer, so I can print them out some time later. By the way, what program do you use to make these comics? Photoshop?

    Nerf guns!

I used to buy Nerf guns, but stopped in 2006. I have a (broken, but still works) Maverick (blue version), the Unity Power System thing, a Secret Strike, and a Reactor (ball launcher). My brother has a Longshot, Nite-Finder (the one with the laser sight; grey version), and another Reactor. I probably won't be buying anymore, as they are pretty useless, and I just started to buy lots of LEGO sets starting last year, so I need to save my money for them. I would rather get a laser tag gun, since the guns cost about the same as a large Nerf gun, but they're much cooler. My favorite Nerf gun is the Scout. I wouldn't recommend buying the $10 laser one, since the laser is really weak, and only half of the darts you put in actually fire. Most just pop out when you put them in.
  4. Thanks for the review, WhiteFang! Everyone before me already said all the things about this set that I was going to say. I give this set an average. bad price to parts ratio no new minifigs cool explosion feature doesn't look that good
  5. I like Pepsi more than Coke, since the Pepsi cans have a nice and new sleek printing design on them. They look so futuristic! However, my favorite soda is either Sprite or Mountain Dew.
  6. There's already a thread about pets here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...634&hl=pets (It's a bit old, though)
  7. I don't see how this relates to History and Adventure. Throwing in a picture with a crownie doesn't make the creation a Castle one. But for a first MOC, it looks fine. The clone head doesn't work, though.
  8. A large amount of people already know of this technique. I agree with Natman: if you want to post something that you found out, you should at least provide a picture. Also, things this small don't really need their own topic. It would be better to post something like this on Flickr.
  9. Do you actually scratch the thing, or is it already scratched for you? Nice find by the way. I'll definitely print this thing later. EDIT: Is the paper just normal paper, or some thicker version?
  10. Wow, nice work hopeso009! I always wanted to see a LEGO tactical droid when I first saw it in the TV series. I'm just hoping that LEGO will make one, and, if they do, have it extremely accurate (colors and shape) to the real thing.
  11. In no particular order: Chrome Gold C-3PO Chrome Black Darth Vader Cloud City Boba Fett Snowtrooper Rebel Commando (The Battle of Endor) AT-AT Pilot Slave Leia Kashyyyk Trooper Senate Commando MagnaGuard
  12. One from Cannon Battle.
  13. Yes, why would you link to that? It's not even a crazy price: only 10 Euros.
  14. That's $120 USD.... In the U.S., the set costs around $80 USD ($100 AUD). What game is LEGO playing at?
  15. Which model? The Venator, the Home One, or the Tantive IV?
  16. Thanks for those tips, Eilif. When I buy my first PAB cup, I'll be sure to ask if they have anything good in the back.
  17. The U.K. is so lucky. They said that the U.K. wouldn't get SP sets until 2010, and now you already got all of the sets, including the two large ones! You also get chrome Vaders... Well, the only benefit for me is seeing reviews of the larger sets to decide if I want them. EDIT: By the way, this belongs in the BTSF forum.
  18. Yay! Meanwhile, I'll try my luck on an event in LEGO Stores. On June 17, LEGO Stores in the U.S. will have a Darth Vader speed build contest. Whoever is the fastest will win a "limited edition Darth Vader," which obviously is the chrome black version. Also, the good thing is that if you participate, you get a free Darth Vader magnet. It's a win-win situation! Link for people who don't believe me: http://stores.lego.com/en-us/Santaclara/events.aspx
  19. I hope that LEGO does make more Harry Potter sets. I didn't like LEGO when the last of the sets came out, so I never got to purchase any.
  20. I have scanned the instruction sheet at the request of EB member pesgores. Front: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ILikePi/...tions_front.jpg Back: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ILikePi/...ctions_rear.jpg Have fun, and be sure to post pictures in this thread!

    Grafitti help.

Cutlass, what does yours say, anyways?
  22. I voted for Hinckley because Erdbeereis did. Just kidding, just kidding. I voted for Hinckley because I like the look of his entry. I also like the minimalist interiors that were inside the buildings. The nice and simple designs are great, too. These two things really give that classic town feel to it (even though I don't know what that feels like ). LuxorV and TheBrickster, your entries are great, too. I wish I could vote for all, but this is vote is to choose what you think is the best, though.
  23. Small cups are $8-9 each, and large cups are $16-17 each. Large cups are more than two times the size of the small cups, so I recommend that you get the large ones. I have yet to buy a PAB cup, even though I have a LEGO Store with a PAB wall 20 minutes away from where I live... EDIT: Also, if you bring back the cup, you can save around $0.25 for the small cup and $0.50 for the large cup. However, as each cup is made of a large amount of plastic, and are useful for storage, I would recommend not bringing back your cups.
  24. Thanks for the great news, Matn! Although I haven't bought any of the past LEGO games (and I might not get this one), this game might open up the possibility of more Harry Potter sets! EDIT: Harry Potter was one of my favorite themes, even though I wasn't around to get or see any of the sets.
  25. I just noticed that the price is $60. I thought that it was going to be $50, since there are only around 450 parts. Well, now I won't be getting it (I have too many other things to get).
