  1. Nice find Darth Legolas! I read the first page, but I don't want to read the rest right now (4 pages is too much, even for LEGO related news! ). It seems like it's going to be interesting though. Doesn't that make you want to just grab one of those fresh, newly made LEGO sets right off the conveyer belt?
  2. Yup, the font is called "Blippo". A quick search on the internet for "Playmobil font" gives this result. Okay, now lets stop talking about fonts. I can't wait to see reviews of the next set! Is it going to be the droid STAP or the clone walker?
  3. Happy birthday LuxorV and CP5670! I wish you many great years of moderating at Eurobricks (LuxorV) and having lots of knowledge about LEGO related stuff (CP5670)!
  4. Great review pedro! Your pictures are better than the other two reviews (although I'm not saying that ADHO15 and Skipper 24's reviews are bad - your reviews are great too!), and that really helps show the best of this set. Of course, it still does seem weird to me, but that swoop bike you made looks awesome! By the way, what font are the words in your first picture? They look really cool, and I might want to use it in some of my future reviews! Thanks!
  5. I just watched the "Priceless" commercial, and I have to say that it was hilarious! Once again, thanks for finding these videos KimT!
  6. Everyone is right, those helmet prints are from the Clone Troopers Battle Pack. I guess that this can be closed?
  7. I voted for The Battle of Endor because it is such a great playset (although I don't own it - yet ). The minifigures have amazing prints, and scout troopers have been revived thanks to this set! Can I have yours then (minus the rebel commandos)?
  8. Thanks for the review ADHO15! The speeder bike still looks funny to me, but I can live with it. But I really like the bag that the set is packaged in. I don't know why, but full color printed bags just look so cool to me (the V-19 and General Grievious' Starfighter minis had cool printed bags too). Will we be seeing reviews of the other exclusive mini sets and the other things (poster, box, stickers)?
  9. Wow, thanks for taking your time to make this nice index of videos for us KimT! I didn't see the Venator commercial and the commercials of the older (2007 and earlier) sets yet, and now I can!
  10. No hats, and I already had every weapon before I started idling. You also spelled idling wrong.
  11. Oh, yes, thanks for pointing that mistake out. I just hope that no one wet their pants when they saw what I typed in.
  12. Well, usually when a set doesn't say "hard to find", "exclusive", or "limited quantity" it usually means that it is available at more stores than if it wasn't a "hard to find", "exclusive", or "limited quantity" set. Nothing: The set is available in most stores. Hard to find: The set is available in select stores and LEGO Stores. Exclusive: The set is only available in LEGO Stores and LEGO S@H. Limited quantity: Only a few sets are in stock.
  13. The Santa Clara LEGO Store (my local LEGO Store; 20 miles away) is a great LEGO Store. They have a huge stock of items, and a nice PaB wall. The only bad thing is that it takes a few weeks after a set comes out to appear in their stores. I have no idea about the San Mateo store, sorry.
  14. Credit goes to my friend TooMuchDew. Town Plan is also $30 $25 off from September 4-16 21-24 in US LEGO Stores.
  15. That blender is simple, but great; just like Hinckley's! Nice work on it (although I bet that it didn't take much thinking to come up with )!
  16. If this advent calendar doesn't come to the US and Canada, I, along with thousands of other LEGO fans, will be really angry. Didn't LEGO learn from last year that there are a huge amount of North Americans that want the non-City themed calendars? EDIT: Just sent this letter to LEGO Customer Service:
  17. Hooray, at least we have a source saying that LEGO Harry Potter might be revived! And for those of you that are wondering about the e-mail I sent to LEGO Customer Service (in the previous thread that was closed), they replied with this response (which was not what I asked): LEGO Customer Service doesn't know much about what the other sections of the LEGO Group are doing, since my original question was something like this:
  18. Thanks for sharing this with us Dark Wanderer! It's really long and will definitely help you on your large creations. $2.50 is half as much as LEGO's version - and this one is around 10 times longer!
  19. Wow, thanks for sharing that with us Inconspicious! It's the largest bag-build that I've ever seen.
  20. I have idled, but I don't really care about the hat. If 95.5% of the TF2 community got the Cheater's Lament, that means that the hat means nothing, and the hatless people are unique (which means that the people with the halo are normal). There's also lots of talk going on about how Valve messed up so much, but I don't really care. All I lost was an extra Axtinguisher. I hope that all of the idlers get some devil horns or something (though I doubt it)...
  21. A few weeks ago some people found Jungle Cutters (and lots of other LEGO sets) for 75% off ($10 USD) at Target.
  22. For a second there I thought this was a review of the new 2009 Tantive IV, but great review anyways! I always wanted to see a review of this huge UCS set after seeing pictures of the new 2009 version. If you plan on getting the new Tantive IV, can you provide us with a comparison?
  23. Wow, these look great! I hope that these nice little mini sets will be sold worldwide like a regular set!
  24. Although I don't toast them, I like Pop-Tarts the most out of all the choices. They're just too good!
