  1. Sorry to bother you, but you misspelled Ahsoka's name. I don't really see the point of this topic without pictures of the minifigures, though...
  2. Wow, that looks really cool! Who made it? Hinckley (if so, nice job!)?Have fun bossing people around moderating the Licensed forum! I hope that you will stay as a permanent staff member. To be honest, I actually look up to you as a role model when making my reviews.
  3. Hooray, preliminary pictures! My thoughts: Army men "battle pack" - Wow, I can't believe that LEGO actually made a army men battle pack! RC car set - Looks great, but we already saw it at Comic-Con. I like the inclusion of the rocket (can't remember name) though! Zurg set - I'll need clearer pictures before I comment on this, but it seems to be an action figure... Buzz Lightyear set - See above. Spaceship set - Looks a bit odd, but I might get this since it has Zurg in it. Wild West set - Wow, an actual Wild West set! I probably won't get it, but I can't wait to see clearer pictures of it! Overall, it looks like it's going to be a great theme!
  4. Great find JD!It's great to know that LEGO would make a back head print just to please their fans. It looks amazing, too!
  5. Great review ADHO15! The printing on the bag is great! The purple sky is really eye-drawing, and the explosion looks awesome! If these were in the US, I would buy at least three (given that they are $4 USD)! And by the way, if you want a sticker on the promo set, you can always scan the 1 x 2 tile on the other STAP.
  6. Wow, those grab bags look really good! A few months ago, I got a grab bag myself (it was in a different bag than yours, but still cost $8 USD), and it had mostly basic bricks and 45 degree 2 x 4 slopes. Did you try weighing your bag? The grab bag that I got weighed exactly 1 pound, while a large PaB cup ($16 USD?) that I filled weighed 1 pound, 4 ounces. So that means that grab bags are a better deal (and more convenient, since you don't need to fill it!), but you can't choose your parts. I'll try to find the picture of the contents of my grab bag... EDIT: Here are the pics (more details will be coming soon in Eilif's PaB essay thread):
  7. I have collected LEGO catalogs ever since I get got my first one, which was the January 2008 one. I have all of the catalogs from Fall 2008 to now (plus the January 2008 one), and I keep them in an accordion folder. I'll probably get a binder later to hold all of them when I get too many. On every school day, I bring the latest LEGO catalog into the car to read while waiting for there to be 5 minutes before school starts (around 15 minutes of catalog reading time). Also, I always request for one or two more catalogs from LEGO S@H, so I can keep them mint.
  8. Great find Navy Trooper Fenson! The landspeeder looks great, and the included minifigures are amazing! Finally, a cheap way to get a C-3PO! I'll comment more on the ARC-170 and landspeeder later; right now, I'm using my brother's iPod touch.
  9. Are we allowed to include a 6 x 12 plate in our entry? My entry is more of a structure that can be an addition to a larger thing (like the Death Star) instead of a vehicle. Oh and by the way, the Rebel Scout Speeder battle pack set includes two 6 x 8 plates.
  10. Great review Future74! This is one of my most favorite LEGO Star Wars sets of all time, and I wish that I had liked LEGO in 2005. If I did, I would have bought this in a heartbeat. Ten minifigures is an amazing amount for a $50 USD set. It may be overpriced, but the leg-print stormtroopers make up for it. They're worth around $10 each on BrickLink! I, like Millacol, will also have to try to find one on eBay sometime too.
  11. Can someone explain why KimT BonerT changed his name to CommanderSithDarkLordDarth? A name that's only made up of ranks looks funny.
  12. LEGO didn't decide to do it, LucasArts did. I think that all Star Wars merchandise have to have the three clone trooper and the red Star Wars logo, at least for now.
  13. Looks like a certain Count doesn't know how to count. These are going to be the seventh and eighth battle packs. Clone Troopers Battle Pack Droids Battle Pack Imperial Dropship Rebel Scout Speeder Assassin Droids Battle Pack Clone Walker Battle Pack Rebel Trooper Battle Pack Snowtrooper Battle Pack
  14. Rogueyoda is xwingyoda from BrickHorizon, by the way. His complete review can be found here: http://www.brickhorizon.com/boardz/viewtop...?f=4&t=1548 It looks great, and I would get it if it becomes available to the US.
  15. Ah, sorry about that!I know that there is a huge difference between a tri-fighter and a tri-droid, but I wasn't really paying attention to what I was actually typing. EDIT: See, I told you that I was too excited to pay attention to what I was typing!
  16. Finally, some preliminary pictures! The Freeco Bike set looks nice. We're finally going to get a Talz! I really like the look of the Droid Tri-droid Tri-fighter set. It also includes rocket battle droids, which are a plus for me, since I hated the look of the Hyena Droid Bomber! The TIE Defender looks odd, but that's probably just me. The battle packs look amazing! I can't believe that LEGO would decide to put an AT-TE AT-AT pilot, one of my most favorite minifigures, into a $10 $11 USD set! It looks like next year is going to be great! And guys, you should all save the pictures incase they disappear!
  17. Wow, that looks great Natman! If there aren't any other ones that are better, you got my vote. By the way, did you get a new camera? These pictures look much better than your other ones that you took months ago.
  18. Wow, those Wal-Mart videos were really good! Cad Bane is now officially my most favorite Star Wars bounty hunter of all time. I like how he isn't like Grievous. Grievous gets really mad easily, but he remains calm in times of danger. I can't wait for season 2 of Star Wars the Clone Wars to premiere!
  19. Wow, that's a bad password since the words "bounty hunters" is right above the spot where you're supposed to put the code in. Thanks for the password anyways, Mr. Mandalorian!
  20. Hooray, another review! Thanks Skipper 24 Bonapper 24! This mini walker is looking better by the second review. By the way, I think that you put the wrong picture for step 9 of the build section.
  21. Darth Legolas already found this article, so I guess that this can be merged with his thread. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33171
  22. Happy birthday Boner Party! I wish you many happy years of LEGO Pirates!
  23. That means that it's only available in LEGO Stores and from LEGO S@H.Sorry for the late reply.
  24. Great first time review, Jammiedodger! This set has to be my favorite out of all of the three new ones. It has never been made before (STAP was already made), and looks really cool (sorry Imperial speederbike ). Exactly how many magazines did you buy? I can't believe that the magazines newspapers only cost 1 GBP. These would be worth around $4 USD (maybe around 3 GBP) if they were sold in stores! EDIT: Blah, I keep clicking "super-script" instead of "strikethrough".
  25. When browsing through the picture slideshow on the article, I found one picture with a weird caption. Here it is: The Lego White House, part of the Architecture line. That's not part of the Architecture line. It seems to be a BrickWorld creation because of the blurred minifig with a BrickWorld logo torso print. Also, notice the grille piece that was cut in half on the flag. It looks like NY Times reporters don't know their LEGO.
