  1. According to the fine print it says "offer valid in the United States and Canada only."
  2. Something's wrong with my account - all pictures appear as question mark boxes! It seems that only my account is having this problem. All of my deeplinked pictures are messed up now. Is this happening to anyone else? Just look at my Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=ILikePi EDIT: Never mind - it has happened to some other people's pictures too!
  3. Okay, hopefully you won't have that much extra time to put it on your store. It's pretty good! You get 6 new white 1 x 1 bricks with a stud on one side, and some useful pieces like the lifting ring. You also get white and red cheese slopes.Unfortunately the back is completely flat, but I think that the front details make up for that. I won't be able to make a review of it until I become a teacher, and I can sense that that's going to take quite a while. BrickLink inventory Instructions
  4. Those prices aren't even close to what the actual prices are going to be - first off, the ARC-170 is going to be $60 or less.KimT just made those estimates on the first page based on the estimated Euro price (right now they need an update).
  5. I purchased 8028 Mini TIE Fighter ($3.99 USD) and 7801 Rally Racer ($2.99 USD) a couple of hours ago at Target. Unfortunately there were no 7802 Le Mans Racers left, but at least I got the last TIE Fighter on the shelves!
  6. I'm not completely sure, but somewhere in between the range of $250-$500 since I just became a LEGO fan just a few years ago. I plan on purchasing maybe $300-$400 USD of LEGO per year, so hopefully my collection will grow quickly!
  7. I remember reading an article about Geocaching in a Costco magazine a year or two ago! It sounds very interesting. This is one thing I'll have to do when I'm older and have a GPS. Thanks for reminding me about it though!
  8. This belongs in the Black Friday thread. It's probably the worst deal out of all of the LEGO deals out there, though (others are more than 10% off). EDIT: danny316p of Flickr found this flyer at his LEGO Store:
  9. Thanks for the info, but it's still not a good deal as shipping for a $100 set is $12, so you would actually only get $13 off for The Battle of Endor ($75 for the set + $12 shipping). FBTB
  10. I saw this on Flickr yesterday night - hilarious! The overall vignette is smooth and realistic - I love how the the hose is bent like that! I think that the sage old man would actually win if they had a fight - he would probably be smart enough to cheat and throw the dumbbells at him! Great title too!
  11. Great find Oky Wan! It seems to be a ~250 piece set. Maybe $30 USD? I wished that Zurg would be inside another set, though (like Construct-a-Zurg), since I really want a minifig version of him and this set seems to be the least appealing of the line.
  12. Svelte strikes again with another extremely early review of a highly anticipated set! Oh how I wish I had a job right now... Im my opinion this is a perfect example of how sets should be designed. If all sets were this detailed and had this many features, I actually wouldn't mind paying $10 or even $20 more! This set is so amazingly detailed that I can't really figure out how to describe it. You've officially become my number one favorite reviewer. Keep up the hilarious humor and stellar reviews!
  13. Wow, that is clever and brilliant! I love the idea of a maxifig that dispenses clone and stormtroopers. You disguised those features very well!
  14. Hopefully that will be true (or we might finally get a Star Wars advent calendar )!I think that an Atlantis advent calendar will include non-holiday things like rocks, tridents, diver equipment, one of each of the non-human minifigs plus two or more divers, some small diving and mining vehicles, and some mini models like a mini squid or fish. If this is true then my budget will be a bit better as I won't be buying any Atlantis sets except for the impulses!
  15. Sorry, I didn't know (I don't like Bionicle, but I took this picture because I like helping the Eurobricks community ).According to my picture, I saw three Skrall, Tahus and Pirakas, two Takanuvas and Rahkshis, and no Greshes.
  16. Not sure if you guys have seen them all yet, but here are all of the Bionicle Stars together, found at TRU:
  17. 5864 Mini Helicopter and 5865 Mini Dumper: 5866 Rotor Rescue:
  18. I found 7970 Hero at Toys 'R' Us a couple of hours ago: EDIT: And a clearer front box shot of 8198 Ramp Crash:
  19. Who, Inky or me (anyways it doesn't matter since we're both under 16 )? I picked up 30008 Snowman and 30009 Christmas Tree (the Creator polybags) for $3.49 USD at Toys 'R' Us today.
  20. I love it! Heck, I love all of your creations! They're all so smooth with all of the tiles and SNOT, and this is the same! I was wondering though, is there a cockpit? It seems to be solid.
  21. Oh, yeah, I forgot about Children of the Force. But lets just say that I counted the premiere as one episode. Also, don't forget Embo and Sugi, who are also set to be major bounty hunters too. Embo Sugi
  22. Currently he's only in three episodes, the first season finale and the first two episodes of season 2.
  23. My parents would never let me meet up with strangers to buy things from them. Anyways, will we be seeing a review soon? EDIT: According to BrickLink, 4728 with a box is about $60 USD! ( http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=16696 )
  24. Me too, but I actually like most of them! Of course, the OT sets are far better (Tantive IV, Home One, Endor, Echo Base), but the CW sets are not that bad IMO. The faces don't bother me, as it is always good to get new prints - no matter how weird they look - and most sets are fairly well designed, especially the Republic Dropship. The only ones I don't like very much are Ahsoka's Starfighter (overpriced), the Hyena Bomber (inaccurate), and the Solar Sailer (overpriced). So what I have to say is that this marketing scheme is working very well. I am just above the target age of most of the sets (the first year of a TFOL), and these sets interest me very much (although, as I said before, I will always take more OT sets over CW/PT).
  25. Great review Inky! The brick-built swiveling skull head is awesome, as well as the "exploding" feature! If this was released for $12 USD nowadays, I would snap this set up immediately. By the way, great alternate model! the ghost head looks very cool, and the barrel-barf feature is hilarious.
