Wow, those rock monsters are looking good! I would have liked to see a difference in the "rock" printing on their bodies, though. Eruptorr looks amazing! I bet that it'll be a hit among kids. I also can't believe that someone already owns a Fire Blaster! Can't wait for these to come out!

Interesting techniques guys! It seems that any LEGO piece can be used as roofing.

New LEGO Indiana Jones Armor Case for Nintendo DS
ILikePi replied to squidman85's topic in LEGO Licensed
This link works. It's "clubcodes", not "clubcode" in the URL. -
We've already got this thread for discussing what chrome minifigures you want to see.

UCS Millenium Falcon is being discontinued!
ILikePi replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Actually, that's when the free shipping for orders over $99 offer ends. -
Wow, great and hilarious entry ISC! That was really fast! I won't be participating in this community build due to a lack of parts (to get enough light bley bricks in my collection, I would have to take apart almost all of my sets), but I can't wait to see how the other rooms turn out.

New LEGO Indiana Jones Armor Case for Nintendo DS
ILikePi replied to squidman85's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, that case looks very detailed and interesting! Whereas the LEGO Star Wars one is just mostly black, this one is printed with lots of colors and details! I won't be getting these, but I like where they are going! Hopefully we might see a LEGO Harry Potter or LEGO Batman one, too (after all, they are or are going to be LEGO video games)! EDIT: You guys can talk about the LEGO Rock Band keychain here. -
Sounds interesting. Thanks for the info legomilk! I won't be getting it (too expensive for my LEGO budget), but I always like hearing news about new sets, even if it's a year before they come out.

I just noticed that games.LEGO.com for the UK is now heavily updated with game rules! Now all of us non-Europeans can check out how to play the games!
-
He's either German or Danish (?), so he probably went there (or a relative bought it) to get it. It's already out in some parts of Europe, but will be released in the US in August, if I recall correctly. And Rick is right - LEGO decided to test the Games sets in Europe because it's a new concept to everyone, so they need feedback before releasing them worldwide.

Ooh, a "house" type set that is in the LEGO Exclusives range (10XXX)? Sounds like it won't be disappointing - I can't wait to see/hear news/pictures!
-
Great mini creation! It really looks like a LEGO Architecture set, and I especially like the use of the 1 x 4 bricks with grooves. The lines inside the grooves make the pieces look like windows!
-
Wow, you guys build so quickly! A 1000 piece set takes me about 5-6 hours, so Cafe Corner would probably take me 8 or more, if I don't stop to take pictures. (Let's just say that you guys don't like to enjoy/savor the first time building a set. )

Wow! That's looking good, Tohst! The removable side to the building is a great idea! I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever decide to make a huge building. Is it in a true minifigure scale? I can't wait to see more pictures!

Happy Birthday Hinckley, Mr, Mandalorian and Mr Spielbrick
ILikePi replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
Although it is not officially your birthdays yet in California, I'll say it now in case I forget tomorrow (): Happy birthday Hinckley and Mr. Mandalorian! I hope you eat lots of pie (not cake, it's a lie) and get lots of LEGO for your birthdays! Nice comic Mr. Mandalorian! -
vip.LEGO.com is up now! There is a question in the FAQs that may interest all of you: If this does happen, the VIP card will be much, much better than the loyalty card!

R2-D2's rotated head? Great shots guys! I especially like Commander_Rob's C-3PO one. Keep up the good work!

I just read your final thoughts, and I have to say, the game sounds really fun! If I was a young child, I would have loved to play a Connect 4 and Tic-Tac-Toe game with many twists to it.

doctordark, your links are broken, so I'll post a screenshot that I just took a few seconds ago: It says that the bag holds up to 750 bricks! I don't think I'll be getting it, but it does actually look like it's worth $20. EDIT: Week 4's brick: At least it has the LEGO logo in it!

Wait, why is everyone talking about a Western train set? Do we have any proof? Can someone provide me a quote or link?
-
Great review Oky Wan! There isn't really anything special about this set, but the minifig heads are awesome! I can see many custom alien/fantasy creature minifigs in the future. I found one mistake in your pictures - for the minifig head comparison, the same pic is used twice. Also, could you possibly show some pictures of the inside of the game manual? Or is it just a piece of white paper?

'Behind The Helm' Episode #12 - Jamie Berard (Part 2)
ILikePi replied to Captain Zuloo's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great interview Zuloo! TheBrickster's questions were really long - I wasn't really paying attention half of the time! -
That's Aurebesh, a writing system in Star Wars. The writing says "ForceMaster", who is an EB member who posted those pics a month or so ago. Thanks for reposting these, though. I'm too lazy to go on Amazon or go back 30+ pages to find all of the pics.
