  1. Awesome calendar Siegfried, and thanks Svelte for making those MODs and MOCs!I also love the randomness of the locations of the boxes! Can't wait to see who gets the first prize!
  2. Yes it does! Now I'll have to disassemble all my sets to have enough parts to make something.
  3. Wow, thanks for finding those KimT! It looks like the Rebel in the far back does actually have a different helmet! I'm still don't like the AT-AT pilot's helmet, but I'm sure it'll grow on me.
  4. Wow! These are as fascinating as the first ones you made (I spent over an hour marveling at the abundance of play features in them )! The mini launcher that actually fires is very clever. How long did you spend designing it? The play features in these are as good as ever! The inclusion of them makes them seem like official LEGO sets! It's a shame that Flickr only allows two videos per month to free users. I loved seeing those videos you made on the first wave of "sets"! And about the pictures: can you try to take them on a different color background next time? I can barely see the skeletons and skeleton horses as they practically blend in with the background. But other than that, keep up the good work!
  5. I like the cartoon very much and like the idea of a LEGO SpongeBob theme, but not these sets that we got. The line had much potential but the designers blew most of the set designs. For example, Patrick and Squidward's homes in 3827 Adventures in Bikini Bottom were oddly proportioned when compared to SpongeBob's pineapple. The 2009 redesign of the Krusty Krab was so much worse than the 2006 version! I mean, there's only one stud length of interior! The 2006 version was on a baseplate and it included essential things to the Krusty Krab like the boat. Don't get me wrong - there were some good sets too - but most of the sets are too small and empty since they are just half or a quarter of the actual building in the TV show. EDIT: Anyways, there are many sets that could still be made! For example: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's senior center room Sandy's dome the Flying Dutchman's ship the beach (forgot the name ) Mr. Krab's house SpongeBob's grandma's house
  6. No, it says Firax. The "a" on top of the box looks like an "o" from far away.
  7. Thanks for the review Oky Wan! The set looks like the Mine Mech's dad. The use of the metallic silver treads as the side of the cockpit is very interesting! I also love the SNOT work on the feet. I'm not going to buy this (I wasn't going to anyways before seeing your review), but it's always good to see what a set is like. EDIT: By the way, which type of trans-light blue fire piece did you get? The old one or the new one?
  8. Can't wait to see it, even though I already read two reviews of it!
  9. All four pump action sets and possibly all the fold out track sets are at LEGO Stores (at least the one in Valley Fair): Bad, Strong, Fast and Hero are the only ones, right?
  10. The smallest System piece is either the 1 x 1 round stud or the 1 x 1 tile, and the largest System piece has got to be the 50 x 50 baseplate.
  11. Dang, you "Targeters" really suffered!I can't believe that you actually went for the Temple of the Crystal Skull set though. It was on clearance for $40 USD in an uncrowded July/August sale! All that the "LEGO Storers" had to do was wait in line for 10 minutes (but unfortunately I only got 10% off) in the warmth of the mall. Here's what I got - click the picture for more info: This was what happened for me: 5:45 AM - wake up 6:15 AM - leave house 6:35 AM - arrive at mall; find a parking spot 6:45 AM - enter Macy's 6:50 AM - stand in line at LEGO Store 7:00 AM - enter store, purchase things and meet Inconspicuous 7:30 AM - leave store
  12. Happy birthday Jammiedodger! Too bad you didn't live in the US - it's Black Friday today!
  13. The deals are up now, including keychains for $2.48 and magnet sets for $9.98! http://shop.lego.com/SalesAndDeals/
  14. It was nice to meet you Inky! Have fun with your Death Star (dang it was heavy )!I purchased one Winter Toy Shop and one The Battle of Endor (my largest purchase to date!). I also got a free PAB box and about 150 points on my new VIP card (now I have 343)! Unfortunately I also only got 10% off. I think that the scratch cards were rigged. I already built everything in The Battle of Endor except for the bunker. The AT-ST is much better, sturdier, and larger than I thought! It uses at least 300 pieces, and clicking the sides into place is very satisfying. The minifigs are fantastic, especially the Rebel commandos and the Ewoks! Here's a picture: Sorry about the bad lighting and the carpet on the sides.
  15. I got my newspaper today, and the Old Navy ad says that they are giving the game away, without specifying if it's a demo or the full version. My bet is that it's the full version...
  16. I'm sorry to say this, but this isn't a review. There aren't any personal thoughts or even any comments about the pictures. Also, Brickshelf is completely down, so your pictures appear as question marks.
  17. Brickshelf is down for the count! ALL deeplinks are broken, and you can't even access the site now.
  18. I love all of these! Your painting skills have really gotten much better, Penguin!
  19. I do not like Bionicle one bit, but it is a bit saddening to see it go. Hopefully the replacement theme will be similar to Bionicle but better. No, it isn't. LEGO Ben 10 is a first wave release.
  20. Actually, Brickshelf uploads multiples faster than Flickr. You can just zip a few hundred pictures on Brickshelf and upload that .zip file and relax. But I do agree that Flickr is more "modern". Brickshelf looks very outdated, and you can't make comments on the pictures.
  21. Thanks for posting that Oky Wan! It was really interesting - who knew the police would resort to trickery!
  22. On the subject of the LEGO Rock Band demo/full version controversy at FBTB: So we don't know if it's the complete game or not. FBTB discussion
  23. The best thing to do is to make another Flickr account solely for review pictures. That's what I'm going to do if Brickshelf doesn't go back up in a couple of weeks.
  24. I wish everyone a delicious Thanksgiving! Be sure to sleep early today! What are you guys going to do today? I'm going to a party at my cousin's house. Try telling that to Inky.
  25. Does anyone have a LEGO Store that is situated in a populated mall with stores like Macy's? If so, was there any parking space or did you have to drive around for an hour to find one? Don't buy too many Winter Toy Shops! I want to try to get one on Black Friday, along with an Endor Battle. Or maybe you could try to save me one (if I go, that is)! Are you going to the Valley Fair LEGO Store? Maybe we could finally meet each other.
