    In the beginning, I used to prime. But the cost / benefit wasn't worth it. I don't seal it, though that is probably because I'm not sure which sealer might work best (without altering the finish) -- though I am open to suggestions! I typically use Citadel paints. They've been pretty solid.

    That's really good to know, thanks. I guess that really leaves Maria Hill and Nick Fury as the figs which will still command a relatively higher price.

    Yeah, I guess I should have been more specific. The Helicarrier exclusives are around that range.

    Current BL prices for the exclusive figs are in the $40-50-ish range per fig. Obviously those prices should start coming down, but I'm curious, at what price (per fig) do people think the prices will stabilize?

    Out of curiosity -- once the "dust has settled" (call it a few months from now) what do people suppose the average price will be on BL for exclusive figs? Is there any precedent there that is a good guide?

    Actually, they were outlined, but I guess it wasn't clear enough. I went ahead and re-edited the spreadsheets so it is clearer, basically: Any cell that has a bold red outline with a white background + red font is an exclusive fig. Any other cell which has a highlighted background in another color means it has a duplicate (and by definition should have at least 1 other matching cell.) I hope it makes sense? Link here.

    That's an awesome group pic! Just wish that Hulkbuster was about 30-40% smaller -- slightly bigger than the Hulk bigfig would have been perfect.

    For who have a hard time keeping track of which figs are with which set and which figs are exclusive, etc. -- I made a simple spreadsheet. These are sorted by MINIFIGURE and the other is sorted by SET NUMBER. Exclusive figs are outlined in bold red with a white back. Any other cell with a background in another color is a duplicate and should have at least 1 other corresponding cell. Hope this is helpful and please let me know if I am missing anything or if there are any errors: [EDITED to MAKE the exclusive figs a big clearer]

    Thanks. Yeah, TLG sure did their homework (of course, I'm sure they have teams just calculating this!) For me the absolute must haves are the Hydra Fortress and Quinjet -- Quicksilver and Vision are at the top of my most wanted list.

    Please forgive me if this has been covered, but just wanted to confirm that the Duel with Hydra set is the only one that doesn't have any exclusives correct? If my calculations are correct: - Hawkeye (Helicarrier) - Thor (Avengers Tower) - Hydra Henchman (Hydra Fortress) Of course, the Helicarrier is quite a big ask, but at any rate, just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

    I remember grabbing a bunch of the Iron Man magnets when they were on sale for a few bucks a pop (the torsos were kind of useless because of the screw but the legs -- after you managed to free them, head and helmets were useable). This is what led me the path to the Bootlegs "darkside" initially. Normally out of a set of 6 or 8 SY or Decool figs, I am normally after 1 or 2 at most -- the rest go to my son.

    Agree this thread needs a new title. I can answer for someone who primarily collects the figs vs. the sets, this is generally what I do: 1) Give the sets / vehicles to my son 2) Sell the set (sans figures online usually through eBay)
