Wow those SY AoU figs look fantastic. The Nick Fury fig alone makes it worth it. The trans hammer is a bit of a disappointment as is Ultron's helmet, but def. getting this one.

Love that Ultron mask. it's the most faithful depiction to the comics. That metallic Mjolnir looks badass as well. Thanks for posting pics!

Wonder if that classic Hawkeye is the same as the previous SY wave? Wow very jealous you got that classic Ultron, please do post pics of that wave when you get a chance!

While it's sad to see Decool go (if true), if it's due to a C&D order -- that's very bad news indeed for every maker: SY, LELE, Dargo, etc, etc.

I agree that Duo's Ultron helmet looks better (at least a more faithful depiction to the comics). Also it would have been nice to have the Maria Hill exclusive instead of, say, the Hulk. But overall it looks good and I'll be getting this set for sure.

I'm glad you're glad. But you've entirely missed my point. My point isn't that they should have copied mine (where did I ever write that? Hint: I never did). Besides, let's think about that for a minute -- why on earth would I want a second hand (more than likely inferior) copy of my own helmet? That makes no sense. I was actually hoping for a solid helmet from SY. But thanks for your insult!

Hmmm, I was looking forward to Thor's helmet as a worthy successor to my own MOC version -- but after those photos, I'm def. sticking to mine and won't be getting this set... Still no working links for the Duole Avengers or Iron Man sets on AliExpress I take it? I've been searching but have had no luck as yet...

Yes, there could be a twist in the film that explains this -- but the MARVEL "purist" in me would rather have had the default yellow gem color -- it's clear that they acknowledge this in the latest movie poster... at any rate, it's a rather small gripe in the grand scheme of things...

Thanks for doing those calculations. Yeah, I wish the official fig had the two-tone green print on the head and I don't understand why they went with the blue diamond on the head when it's clearly yellow in the film and comic versions.

Has anyone done a calculation as to what the lowest dollar amount it would cost to acquire all of the Age of Ultron minifigs (i.e. through a combination of purchasing sets and BrickLink-ing exclusives for sets like the Helicarrier)?

Disco! Yeah and that Mark 42 version looks very similar to a mock-up I made which was my recommendation for having more gold (can post a pic later).
