"If the elf heals me and the female cleric heals herself, I think yer fine with puttin' her at the end of the order Paladin." -
The Forest II: Day One

Well after fixing up all the baby-carriages, leaky pipes, and bent crankshafts for the day I'm glad to see everyone is still getting along fairly well. *Goes over and sniffs Petey's rump* You remind me of a leaky proportional valve I was working on today. Anyways, seems like Petey here had a reaction to a jokester and it didn't sit well with Gordon. Pennie here assumes everyone reacts to a joke just like she does, but from personal experience I don't think Petey enjoys jokes very much so it seems consistant with her, but hey people have been known to have split personalities before, but I'm only a mechanic so we best find a snake-charming pyschytrist if we want a professional opinion. I do find it interesting however, on how quick Pennie chimes in with her agreement with Gordon as if she was just waiting for an opportunity to jump on someone. -
That's correct.

My understanding from how it has been dealt with in the past. A roll of shield on a hunter that has not yet favored an enemy is treated the same as a 'Hit'. Shield rolls against a favored enemy after that are also treated as 'Hit's' but have the x3 multiplier.

"Oh no ya don't Monkey man, yer not gettin' away that easy," Skrall unholstered his Hunter's Crossbow and released a bolt at the fleeing Skim from the back row. "Elf, I could use another heal if ya have the time." -
Here here, as a long term investment, tonics are cheaper than nostrums which is basically what you are creating in this instance. I agree that positive effects should be left for in battle only, that's what consumables are for.

If they were going to survive, they needed to start widdling down their enemies soon. Skrall unsheathed Leojagd and bellowed as he charged Skim from the front row, "Ya'll find my sword is a bit more up to match with yers than the witch's, ape!" -

OoC: My last shot should have +2 to WP due to the Hunter's Quiver. "Thanks fer the heal elf, Skrall by the way, I don't think we've formally met. Paladin, if Atramor and I switch targets, I have a chance of takin' the bugger Skim out providin' I can land a critical hit on him with my greatsword, though we run the chance of the rogue gettin' knocked out as well then, even if he was to attack from the back." -

*Smells Horace Horse's behind friendly* Well, looks like another mystery as always, I don't know a thing about lynching but if you can use a wrench to do it, I'm your bulldog. I am curious as to why the statue seems to be missing it's head though, unless we're dealing with cultists and vandels at the same time. -
Why not stick all of this chitter chatter into your role-play, this is the stuff that makes good development.

"Glad ya could make it to the Party all. Don't go fergetin' rogue that we have a Druid with us so bein' knocked out ain't so bad." Skrall unshouldered his heavy crossbow and fire a shot at the flail wielding Metasimian from the back row. -
But how did she know they were from Heroica unless she saw them and talked with them first?
-
I'm slightly confused on her dialog, why would she go from loving Heroica heroes one moment to hating them the next?
-
I would think that if shields could have gems and scrolls imbued into them, then they would have to count as artifacts as they currently provide SP without taking up an artifact slot.
-
Technically Skrall punched the door in, so as to flatten anyone that was standing behind it, but that doesn't matter now.

OoC: I'm taking it that enemy row only matters for close-combat attacks correct? "Gladly. Now then Mr. Monkey, let's see how yer shootin' is." Skrall lined up a bead with his Hunter's Crossbow on the Metasimian (Crossbow) from the back row. -

Skrall noted the paladin's irratable behavior, it was probably a good thing he remained behind, if Boomingham couldn't effectively lead them someone was going to have to. Afterbthe second group had moved on, Skrall punched the door in Fezzik style and stood to the side, giving the Paladin a mocking bow, "After you yer majesty." -

"There's the Eubric public-works department fer ya. Always messin' up ones natural talents. Well are we goin' in peacable with a friendly knock or am I bustin' down the door? I suggest the peacable route first, what about the rest of ya?" Skrall cocked the firing mechanism of this crossbow and inserted a bolt. -
Exactly, up until that point no one had done a full "were-" i.e. changing anything so I utilized the prefix "were" to refer to any beast/humanoid individual. Also I believe there was a were-panther mentioned in that same quest as Scaro, is he a "were-" as in a changing individual or just an anthropamorphic panther?

"Ya've still got as keen a mind as ever rogue. I ain't fer all of us bargin' in there all at once. I agree, three round the front and three round the back might be a good idea. You there, recruit, do ya happen to know when you were snoopin' around the buildin' whether there be a back door? An' who does this buildin' belong to anyways?" Skrall sheathed Leojagd and unhosltered his Hunter's Crossbow. Observing the street in front of the building he tried to ascertain from the foot-prints if there were more than two individuals in the building. -
Technically, both of my quests have featured were-wolves as well as were-hounds, though I'm considering them being a sub-speices from which the lycanthropy disease began. They will probably refer to themselves as pure-bloods as compared to the current Wolf-gang members which apparently can shift from one form to the other.

Skrall caught up with the rest of his Party. He had had to avoid a few debt collectors by dodging into a side street, but he eventually made his way to the Town Watch's headquarters. "Afternoon folks, sorry I'm runnin' late, but ya know how things can get a bit crowded fer an Ogre in this city. Now then, what have we here?" Skrall glanced down at the recruit. "I believe we're here to speak with the mam in charge, and unless your mother had a strange way of namin' ya young lad, I don't think you are her." -
Skrall orders another tankard of ale, "See to it that the Paladin gets one as well, if ya don't mind dearie. I think we're all goin' to need stuff a bit of stiffer if we're goin' to be sailin' the southern seas," he winked to Scheherazade.

*Goes over and catches a whiff of Booker Bear's posterior and turns around in a clock-wise circle.* Good to meet you Mr. Bear, if you have anything that needs fixing up, automobiles, plumbing, bumbershoots, marriages, come see me. I'm particularly handy with the wrench, if I do say so myself. -
Just don't go eating any Teuthsal and I think you'll do fine.
