  1. Sorry Pie, I didn't know the crown was a trade, otherwise I might have given you more, just wait and see you never know where a zoot's plaything is going to end up. I gave the armor to Cronk because I thought the golden armor was only going to be available to knights, feel free to switch when you return to the hall.
  2. Skrall's mind is else-where thus he merely gravely nods, "If young Master Regulus has nothing to inquire of, which I'm sure he does, then we shall take our leave."
  3. The young knight had died because Skrall had put him subservant to his elder. "Such a young one," Skrall thought to himself, his mind flashing back to images of his own children. Skrall unsheathed the Greatsword of Lion Nobles, life was always a puruit to the Ogre, a pursuit of satisfaction and he had yet to find it. A wife had not given it to him; children had failed; the rogue life of an outlaw, nothing; riches and glory from Heroica, empty; the hunting of Wren, pointless; even war and it's spoils had failed to satiate a longing desire that he forever failed to fill. The Ogre looked between the blade and the youth, "Leojagd" he thought to himself, "the Lion's Pursuit. It shall not be sheathed until it receives its due." Skrall turned to the emperor, "Sir, the rebels have been routed, their leaders slain. Those who have fallen shall be mourned, but what more do you require of us for the time being?"
  4. Skrall looked down upon the body of the young Lyonel, "How did he go?"
  5. Have you ever considered going into the ether core business? You could sell them cheaper than tonics and make a fortune.
  6. OoC: Seems like the QM's want to keep the quest moving along, otherwise I would have waited to see what everyone wanted. I took into consideration what most people had already won since the beginning of their respective quest and unfortunately that meant that some people ended up with an extra weapon they may not use, or are currently unsuitable for. Everyone is free to exchange items if they wish to do so later on at the hall. Skrall glanced up, the witch was giving him a strange look, "That blasted orb is already starting to cause confusion," he thought to himself. "No matter, this time I'm goin' to take some time to make sure the right person gets it."
  7. Skrall sheathed the greatsword and surveyed the carnage around him, "Well now, looks like we made quite a mess didn't we? Now let's see here..." Denarii the Rito had been busily gathering up the spoils of the battle muttering many things about "shineys", Skrall glanced down at her pile. "Hold on little one, let's make sure everyone gets their fair share. Hmmm... Not then, I think we'll divide it up thusly." Alexandre - Mail of the Renegade Commander, 50 Gold Arthur - Topaz, 50 Gold Atramor - Bomb XX, 100 Gold Cronk - Golden Armor, 50 Gold De'Kra - 155 Gold Galen - Venom, Bomb XX, 100 Gold Isabella - Twin Broadsword, 75 Gold Nerwen - Crown Nyx - Explosive Staff, Bomb XX Sarick - Bomb XX, 100 GOld Skrall - Zoot's Plaything, 50 Gold Tarn - Amulet of U'kin Nobility, 125 Gold Thothwick - Fire Amulet, 50 Gold William - Bomb XX, 100 Gold Xander - Sword of Ancestral Hatred, 50 Gold Skrall safely pocketed the Zoot's Plaything, he had dealings with the strange orbs before and this time he wasn't going to leave anything to chance. This time he would make sure that the one who deserved it would be awarded it. "Well, it's been a lovely reunion, but there still is a village burning, rebels running about, and all matter of Chaos going on out there, so I think we need to all get goin' to our seperate tasks."
  8. As Denarii shot to the sky, Alexandre readied himself for the assult to come, mean while Skrall held his Greatsword at the ready and wondered how such a heavy weapon could slow down on its downward swing. Not bothering to think very deeply about it he shouted over to Isabella, "Ms. Toboso, why don't ya see if ya can help out those in the eastern hallway." Noticing Sarick's rather low supply of Ether, Luke removed his tonic and use it upon Sarick from the back row. Battle Order: Nerwen Thothwick Cronk Atramor Arthur Alexandre Skrall Nyx Edgar Tarn Xander De'Kra Sarick Count Knythton Luke Isabella
  9. I'm just your friendly neighborhood spider-ogre.
  10. Also Benji's aim should have done 2x damage due to his crossbow being darkness elemental.
  11. A Warden's "Miss" roles become "Aims" due to their half Ranger skill set.
  12. Because this looks like an important battle, just wanted to make sure that you know that Wardens' "Misses" count as "Aims".
  13. Sheesh, didn't even know I had contributed to one of the lamest parts of Heroica RPG. :P :)

  14. I noticed this as well and have been tossing around quest ideas about a Dwarven colony living under Mount Ulysses. Hopefully I'll have something a little more concrete in the weeks ahead.
  15. "Yer not doing to badly yerself, does the bow come naturally to yer race? Speakin' of which, what in Olgea are you?" Skrall parried a strike from Sir Loren and countered with one of his own, trying not to severely injure the captive emperor. "Guard aren't you goin' to do somethin' to save yer emperor?"
  16. You're telling me, Masked kept on coming back with town results, fhomess keeps on shooting people I've already convinced myself are town (CJP, Scouts, Rufus to some degree), and nobody in the day threads is really active enough for me to pull something together, I should have looked more closely at peoples posts and approached them from the perspective if they were scum. I fully agree with you about Hinckley's investigation, it was the turning point and allowed me to start "confirming" people who had interacted with Scuba in a townie-telling way, without that lynch we would have been sunk. That was the point actually, we knew a true-townie would be so fed up with another sting and automatically start accusing Inky of lying instead of trying to come up with a far-fetched role-claim to cover themselves. So in a way I guess it worked.
  17. fhomess, I don't know whether I should clock you or hug you, I hate having no one to talk to and bounce ideas off of during a game and as soon as Scuba bussed you on day 4, I pretty much took you into my full confidence without looking back. I can see from your perspective it must have been wierd for some player to come completely out of the blue and start dumping information on you, so sorry about that. You took it in stride though and I thank you for not vig killing me at any point in the game, which considering how you were shooting us in the foot by trying to find a non-existant mole I was pretty lucky. Good game. Masked Builder, you really got to speak up more man, I never knew whether you were a neutral investigator laying low, or you were a townie sheep, but without you we wouldn't have been able to narrow down the suspects, so I for one am glad you helped us. Tammo: I was sorry that you got knocked out so early as you were really the solid rock of the town block after Scuba was exposed and your logic at getting DD lynched was a life saver in my book. Swils: You did a good job of staying under the radar and contributing just enough to appear active, I'll admit your posts came off as far-fetched and wierd, but I discounted that as being an in-the-dark townie instead of an in-the-dark scum. Well played sir. Shadows and Dragonator: I know you are both much more experienced than I and my apologies if I got on your nerves which I know as a townie can be extremely frustrating, but I hope to play with you both again in a more active setting as my only suspicions against you were your inactivity, other-wise I wouldn't have pushed fhomess so hard to vig-kill you. A few comments to clear my side of things up: 1. I had no real suspicions that Foog was scum, but knew I had to use my day action fast, so I went with trying to eliminate another person off the list who hadn't been varified. 2. I would have rather lynched Swils the day we got AS to verify my earlier theory, but I knew we couldn't get enough votes against him in time, so I went with the easier lynch. 3. As to my post analysis method, although it aided in establishing my intial contacts it did lead me astray (mainly with AwesomeStar whom Scuba bussed extremely early in day 1 which made me think he was town), unfortunately I was hesitant to reveal the details of the method because I wouldn't be able to use it in any future games (i.e. don't tell scum, scum tells/town tells otherwise they'll avoid them or utilize them to deceive you). It almost seems more trouble than it was worth as it lead to me being almost lynched on several occasions, but thankfully it did come in handy when it came to trusting Draggy and Inky in the latter half of the game. Finally as a general note and to echo what Dragonator said in the C&D, I really believe all comments concerning the game or the players, whether they are praises or criticisms, game-breaking or entirely free of any "hints", made between dead players and those alive should be extremely discouraged. I don't care how fed up or elated you are with how the game is going, whether you mean to or not, it effects the game. I know on three seperate occasions I received PM's from dead players who wanted to comment or question on the current situation, I can ignore these as best as I can, but it's hard not to read the first 1 or 2 sentences at least before you hit the ignore button. So please as a player who enjoys these games and wishes for them to be run in the most honest and fair manner, avoid this behavior. Thanks. In other news, the writeboard is definately more fun than the day threads, I sort of wish fhomess had vig-killed me earlier.
  18. Bob you did amazing I'm so glad you continued and saw this game through to the end. The sets and characters were great, I just have 2 questions and I'll make some more comments later on as well. First how did Masked Builder get his investigation role? How did I get a day-kill on day 7? To all of you who played well done, you were an awesome bunch scum and town alike and I look forward to playing with you all again at some point in the future. To the dead, thank you for your patience and speaking for the town block, we're sorry that it was so unexciting for you in the day threads.
  19. Skrall satchel emptied of crossbow bolts, once again took up the Greatsword of Lion Nobles and rushed at Sir Loren attempting to drive him back from the front row. "Well now chap, I can see yer one who enjoys crossin' steel. Let's have a go at it shall we?" Luke remained steady as he awaited the need for him to utilize his healing powers. Battle Order: Cronk Atramor Arthur Nerwen Isabella Denarii Skrall Alexandre Xander Tarn Nyx Edgar Sarick De'Kra Count Knyghton Luke
  20. Sorry about that Tanma, Skrall will only be going on a 2 person quest after this one.
  21. I agree, don't second guess yourself, some battles just are not going to go the Party's way unfortunately. Hold to Zepher's maxim, all quests should be failable. Quest 28 had the Party fail/flee at least 2 battles.
  22. "I shall try my good lady, though I have never attempted such a feat on so small a creature before." Luke lowered Arthur's Staff and carefully attempted to heal Edgar from the back row.
  23. A Shaaman, Battle Mage, and Hunter, all with Natural Respite. We'll kick some serious monster behind.
  24. Skrall swung the greatsword around to clear a space in front of him as he withdrew his Hunter's Crossbow from its holster and fired off a shot at Sir Lamorak from the back row. "Ms. Isabella, feel free to join us in the hall, that guard is going to fall from his wounds pretty soon anyways and yer pheonix essence may still come in handy. Luke go ahead and prepare to heal Ms. Isabella from the back row if she comes through here." Battle Order: Isabella Cronk Atramor Arthur Denarii Alexandre Skrall Xander Tarn Sarick Edgar Count Knyghton Nyx Luke Nerwen
  25. Yes but we've gone through the case that could be made against Wheeler and Harper and there isn't anything that makes us suspect them of being scum, actually the opposite has ocurred in addition to the investigation results there have been private PM's from Harper requesting that Vanderbilt be vig-killed before it actually happened during the day (not to mention I was the one who pulled the trigger on Vanderbilt as someone had misplaced their weapon), in addition to two scum ganging up on Wheeler to try and lynch him, as well as my post analysis that has the late Gordon and Rockford bussing or interacting with both Wheeler and Harper long before they were discovered as scum.
