  1. OoC: Clarification of Denarii's special, it stuns all the enemies that current round (so Nerwen shouldn't have received any damage) and makes Denarii invincable for the next. "Ya ready Sarick?" Skrall commented as he met up with the Naga. "Let's give 'em what fer," Skrall let out an Ogre roar as he charged into the throne room, greatsword held high.
  2. Well after going through the past day records, my net is as empty as everyone elses and it looks like we're having to vote someone not necessarily due to their scuminess but because they're one of the few that aren't part of the group we're somewhat convinced are part of the town (due to investigations, blocks, PM's, role-claims). Vote: Lieutenant Wheeler (Inconspicuous)
  3. OoC: I don't believe it was ever clarified earlier and once Zepher brought the point up, Sandy changed the rule as it is more balanced. However as I encouraged earlier, I think we should continue with how the rule was originally stated as strategies were founded upon the presupposition before the change occured. Up ahead Skrall watched as Nyx's bomb flew toward the enemy combatants, he shielded his vision from the expected flash that would soon follow. Battle Order: Sarick Skrall Alexandre Nyx Atramor Tarn Luke Count Knyghton Cronk Arthur Denarii Xander Isabella Nerwen
  4. 'Will do my good rogue," Luke commented as he swung Arthur's staff in Atramor's direction from the back row attempting to heal the witch.
  5. Not that it necessarily aids us for the time-being, but it might be something to consider. I think we can assume that Rockford was the scum role-blocker as we've now gone quite a few days without any of our claimed PR's saying they were role-blocked and given that the scum pretty much know who they are by now, I can see no reason why they would waste role-blocking an unknown person. Also, due to this fact, I also don't think the scum can inherrit actions. If Gordon's role-cop claim was to be believed then out of their two lost actions I would assume the scum would want to keep their role-blocking power as again they already know the majority of the town's PR's.
  6. Skrall hurried his way through the corridor of the Dastanian Palace his greatsword sending showers of sparks off the stone work as he ran. Pink letters and envelopes littered the hallway floor resembling a rosy take on the first leaves of autumn. As he trundled along, Skrall lost his footing in a pile of sheeves. He slammed into the ground. Grunting with from the pain, he quickly skimmed through the pink letterhead that now lay only inches away from his face, he spotted something about a Pheonix Incense and other less useful items. Grabbing a candle from the wall above he quickly dribbled some wax upon the parchment, traced his name on the form, sent it off, and hoped that help would soon be on its way. Taking care not to slip on any more stationary, Skrall continued on his way to the aid of his companions.
  7. "Ms. Nyx, I think now would be the ideal time to use that special bomb of yers, you were talkin' about earlier. Let her loose and then take cover with Mr. Chevalier." Skrall continued his way down the hallway slipping here and there on all the pink paper and envelopes.
  8. OoC: Hate to be a rule stickler, but would Alexandre's Sentinal protect the Party if Nyx let off her XX bomb? Skrall watched as the heroes in the throne room were assulted by an outpouring of rebel troops, "Hold 'em off as long as ya can can folks," Skrall unsheathed the Greatsword of Lion Nobles and continued his trek North.
  9. If anything I would suspect this as disproving the existance of a mole, dependent upon if they knew who the vig was going to kill, as the scum would have no reason to kill the same target as they would have known Daly was town. Any way you dice it, it would appear to me that the scum were trying to set Rockford up. Honestly I couldn't tell if Daly was scum or not, his out-there accusation of Burbank based on a theory dependent on the simulation set-up and his theory based on a scum conversion yesterday did not sit well with me, but his consistant even-keeled manner did seem genuine. To suffice it, I liked his style but not his theories. Until further notice I think we're all going to be dependent to see what Jones snooped up from last night.
  10. DarkDragon, wonderful job with your quest. The sets were quite amazing and I enjoyed the epicness of the entire adventure. I know how hard it can be to come up with a satisfying ending, but you took a really good crack at it and I think most of us were distracted by your enormous collection of gems anyways. My favorite character was the lizard woman in the market place and I look forward to any quests that you'll spin off of your other NPC's. Endgame, fantastic job for your first quest, especially after your own PC quest experience. You did a very good job of making a dungeon crawl interesting, you added a good amount of puzzles (my personal favorites) and you did very well with creating good battles and a fair amount of loot. The Proggs were well developed and I am interested to see where you will go with them.
  11. OoC: Don't worry about it Chromeknight, I actually prefer having a few heads keeping track of all the action, that way if I miss something someone else picks it out pretty quickly. Skrall watched as his bolt hit true disabling the Emperor. He nodded in agreement with Nerwen's plan, "I'll leave him in your hands elf, Denarii I hope you might last long enough to put yer bow to good use in the throne room soon. Ms. Toboso, make yer escape next round our help is goin' to be needed elsewhere and those dragon scales of yers might come in handy." With that Skrall strapped his heavy crossbow to his back and made his way east to the sourthern most corridor knocking unlit torches and tapestries from the walls with his broad shoulders as he went. "More tight spaces, just lovely," he thought to himself. Luke smiled at the Echo, "I am glad that those above have shown me their favor, now strike swiftly and do not lose heart my little friend. My good rogue, I see you have also studied of the healing arts, might I inquire where you learned such talents," Luke inquired as he raised Arthur's Staff to heal Tarn from behind the Party's front line. Battle Order: Cronk Arthur Sarick Skrall Denarii Nerwen Isabella Xander Alexandre Nyx Luke Atramor Tarn Count Knyghton
  12. "Ya have a lot of faith in the system elf, but I'll do my best. Sarick, Ms. Toboso, if you're goin' to flee make sure ya do it from the back row." Skrall holstered his Hunter's Crossbow and taking his Heavy Crossbow in both hands, he sighted down the quarrel at Emperor Roland's left knee from the back row. "I don't think he'll be able to escape so quickly soon," he commented quietly to himself before releasing the shot. Luke turned to see the horde of Rogue Lion troops rushing upon them, "Brothers, this will not bring you peace, turn back!" Luke raised Arthur's Staff to try and heal De'Kra again from the back row. "Forgive me little one, my thoughts were else where." Battle Order: Denarii Skrall Xander Nerwen Sarick Isabella Cronk William Arthur Alexandre Nyx Atramor Tarn Luke Count Knyghton De'Kra
  13. I believe this issue came up when Dannylonglegs was creating his character, Sylph. I believe he had wanted to use a bat, but it was determined that PC's had to be humanoid in some fashion or another, so I think the ruling may be a no on the frog hero.
  14. Skrall loaded another bolt into his Hunter's Crossbow, he had fallen into a rythem firing off bolt after bolt. He took aim again at Emperor Roland from the back row. "Isabella go ahead and switch to one of them imperial guards if you've got the time, if not we'll make do. We're goin' to have to make quicker work of these chaps, the throne room group isn't goin' to be able to hold our fer long. Ms. Nyx, I noticed ya were totin' along a rather strange lookin' bomb earlier, mind tellin' me what it does?" Luke took haste to heal De'Kra using Arthur's Staff of Elven Necromancy from the back row. "Hold fast little one, I'll see your wounds are mended." Battle Order: Denarii Skrall Sarick Xander Isabella Nerwen Cronk William Arthur Alexandre Nyx Atramor Tarn Count Knyghton Luke De'Kra
  15. So if you have the flickr app, you will have a flickr account that the pictures you upload go to. On your personal flickr web-page there's a tab to share the photo, you want to use the appropriate code format (BBC) and then you stick that piece of code in your signature under your Eurobricks personal settings.
  16. OoC: In fairness to the players I believe the new rule concerning scrolls should be implemented after the current quest. Luke seeing Tarn's wounds decided to heal the barbarian from the back row using Arthur's Staff of Elven Necromancy. Battle Order: Cronk William Arthur Denarii Skrall Xander Isabella Sarick Nerwen Alexandre Nyx Atramor Luke Tarn Thothwick De'Kra Count Knyghton
  17. My point on focusing upon you was not based upon eleminating who was scum, but who was the scum killer. My method verified two players as town and our investigator received two townie results, thus yielding 4 players who in my opinion are not the killer: Myself, York, Francis, and Harper, also remember god-father does not equal scum killer. McAndrew's blocking results further cleared, Vanderbilt, Daly, Rockford, and Wheeler from being the scum killer as the scum kill still went through on their respective nights, note Wheeler was blocked last night. Wilder claimed vig, Jones claimed investigator, and now Hornby protector. You are the only one who is left. Godfather or conversion, does not make a difference, neither of them create a scum killer. After a lot of thinking, the hinge of the argument against Hornby is there had to be a conversion. I'm not willing to bet the town's survival on it, call me chicken, call me signing my own death warrent, but I'd rather live by the maxim of a once great crew member, "verify, verify, verify". Unvote: Lieutenant Hornby (Shadows)
  18. Skrall takes aim at Emperor Roland once again with his Heavy Crossbow from the back row. Suddenly his sight is momentarily obscured by the raining of pink letters and envelopes. "Sod, is it Lover's Day again already, I didn't think we had been in this soddin' land that long." He shouted over to the Rito, "Tag team Denarii, go fer that last Elite Heavy Guard, I'll keep his highness on his toes."
  19. Truthfully, I think the main crux of the argument is built upon what happened night 4. As you said, either the scum converted on night 4 or Hornby is the actual town-protector. There is no other way around this fact, no matter how scummy we think Hornby's jumping the gun against York is, or his "apparent" slip-up in the day thread, or the matter involving Gordon role-copping Hornby, we have to deal with the results of that night. I will admit my original vote against Hornby was made by giving more credit to these arguments and than the risk of losing a town PR, but I really don't know where else we can go with this. There is still my process of elimination theory, but the comment has been brought up about William's in-the-dark attitude and Hornby has claimed protector.
  20. Relagating an attack against you as worth your time. I've really had enough of you pushing off every accusation made against you with your big ego. I've wondered for a long time, who had the vig's ear, it had to be a really smooth talker to slide and wiggle his way into the town block. I don't want to waste a lynch on a possible PR, but I'm prepared to make an exception for you and your unhelpful and BS attitude. McAndrew was of the opinion that if I turned up town then, Jones was supposed to be scum and even then I don't understand the logic to that statement, much less the one you just stated. On contrair, the scum have had plenty of opportunity to kill you if they wanted to and instead have taken care of targets I thought would have long out-lived yourself due to your experience on this ship. If we're going to start piling on evidence against Hornby, I might as well relate that Gordon claimed to role-cop Hornby on night 3 but was blocked. The vig can confirm McAndrew's night action record, not once did he target Gordon. Therefor this means that Gordon was lying about being blocked (unless for some outlandish reason the scum-blocker blocked their own role-cop). Two possibilities exist, Gordon lied about role-copping Hornby or Gordon actually did role-cop him. If the former then why would he do so, answer Gordon already knew Hornby's role because they were on the same team. If the latter then why would he lie about being blocked. If Hornby is a scum then we know that Gordon wouldn't want to out him. If Hornby is the claimed town-protector then the scum already know about him. If by the end of day 3 they knew the vigilante, town role-blocker, town protector, and investigator, then why in the world is he still alive? Right now I think the right thing is to vote: Lieutenant Hornby (Shadows). If you want to lynch me tomorrow fine, I'm vanilla so it isn't going to hurt the town, heck if you want to even have me vig killed go ahead, but your attitude and attempt to squash any argument brought against you by simply calling it stupid, or shrugging it off by virtue of your ego had convinced me that your actions fit more in line with a scum-protector than a town one, even if you are one (a protector) to begin with.
  21. "Nerwen, go ahead and heal up Xander. Denarii, keep the Emperor busy," commented Skrall as he fired off a round from his Hunter's Crossbow at Elite Heavy Guard B from the back row. Luke took a quick moment to heal himself from the back row. Battle Order: Denarri Xander Skrall Sarick Isabella Nerwen William Arthur Cronk Alexandre Atramor Nyx Tarn Count Knyghton Luke De'kra Thothwick
  22. So where does that leave us? Jones could be the mole, but we risk losing an investigator if we are wrong. Hornby could be the mole, but this is dependent upon the protector not actually protecting Wilder and instead converting, or there actually being no protector and we assume they were killed early on, in this case we still have to assume a conversion at the rist of losing our protector. My money is still on Ensign Williams, it utilizes the least amount of assumptions and he has also yet to claim a PR.
  23. My apologies I mixed up thought the Vengeful PR referred to any action that occured after death. Looking back over my records, I received information that Jones was the investigator during day 4 and after contacting Jones, he told me that he received his action on night 3. The only ones to die on night 3 were Wright and Willis. Wright was apparently a neutral and Willis the town-watcher, so I can see how it would appear that Willis was actually a neutral who inherrited Wright's action, but he has claimed Townie privately to me and Wilder, not that he wouldn't lie to keep his skin. Also for the record, I haven't placed a vote against Ensign Williams, only boldly pointed him out.
  24. I actually like the idea of artifacts still being limited to some of the base classes. I was considering them the other day, and wishing that we had a Barbarian Tensi in the Dastan Trilogy, or that I was still a Ranger, as at higher levels these classes can slaughter multiple enemies which is a valued skill in larger battles. My point is, I don't think any class should be considered obsolete, sure there are some that are more powerful, but there should be a downside to it as well.
  25. Yes, I explained this in day 4, I'll leave it up to fhomess as to whether to reveal who was cleared by investigation and who was cleared by my method, but if you really think about it hard I'm sure you could figure it out. The only person that said Wright was a neutral cop was Gordon during Day 4. Wilder is the only member left of the original town block and could verify this. Jones has not claimed to have inherrited Wright's role, only an investigation role, but he can state otherwise if he wishes to do so. The stump was a vengeful and I doubt one that was brought in mid-game in order to add balance. From what we know of the simulation, the scum did not have a role-cop and thus a neutral was provided that could side with them. This time round, we know of at least one scum who claimed role-blocker, thus I don't think a townie inherriting an investigation would be to hard to follow, but I'll go investigate the past day threads and make sure.
