  1. In that case, a coffee cup...?
  2. Perhaps you would be interested in looking through this?
  3. This has probably already been said before, but... I would be interested in seeing a classic Atari/Namco/Nintendo line. Imagine how well creatures from games like Galaxian, Donkey Kong, and Kid Icarus would translate into LEGO... If The LEGO Group raised the standards for their Architecture line and released stuff like this, that wouldn't be too bad either.
  4. Is there something I'm missing here? When I deeplink a picture from flickr, I click on the image, then click on the 'View all sizes' button in the upper right-hand corner, then copy the image location from the appropriate image size and put it into the Though that doesn't seem to be how the rest of you are doing it...
  5. If only new members would take the time to read them over and take it in...
  6. And don't forget the droideka this time... With the 30th anniversary of Jedi in '12, I'm still waiting for that AT-ST with Ewok Trap and Stormtroopers set that would kill three birds with one stone.
  7. Personally I would go with the explanation that Incom had had a prototype 'X-wing' with only four wings before the ARC-170 but scrapped it and came back to it later. If you ask me the split engines that would form a circular structure when closed bear a strong enough resemblance to certain variants of the Z-95 for that to work. Hey, that looks familiar...
  8. I thought that The LEGO Group never revealed upcoming sets, minifigures, etc in their media (video games, comics, etc). I suppose Jar Jar was the exception... please correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. So true. In response to Brickdoctor's comment, I remember wishing for an X-34 re-release as a good opportunity to get more Tusken Raider minifigures... and being disappointed when that didn't happen with 8092. Ah, 'manga gaurds'...
  10. @Ki-Adi-Mundi: Quite predictable at this point, aren't I?
  11. Is it just me, or have we been getting a lot of bad posters lately?
  12. Perhaps it is time for a 2012 Rumors thread? EDIT: When did we hear about the UCS Jabba's Palace, and who from? I don't recall it being a particularly reliable source...
  13. Oh, right - cavegod...
  14. Say guy, just how old are you?

  15. And please don't forget to... EDIT: Say guy, just how old are you?
  16. I'm glad someone actually got that.
  17. I had always suspected that The LEGO Group doesn't like SNOT...
  18. Don't you mean Azure Angel II? The first one was destroyed on Yavin just before the Neo-Clone Wars. If I recall correctly, most of the System Star Wars sets released before '05 had no stickers.
  19. Cephalization, the unifying force! * *See what I did there?
  20. I doubt that a $11 pack would be able to include all the "boutry hunters" and something substantial enough to keep Hasbro quiet.
  21. A great rendition of some amazing concept art! There exists a very nice balance of smooth and studded surfaces, and the use of very cool white and bley colors is yet another plus! The build is fairly simple yet captures the look of the craft well. Very nice job. As far as constructive criticism, I feel that the rear area of this MOC, while already well done, could be further improved if you were to use angled plates to continue the tapering toward the laser cannons (something akin, perhaps, to this). Furthermore, you may want to consider using this piece to round out the guns a bit. I have always wondered whether this piece would work as well - in my opinion it would capture the curvature of the cockpit better than the stock canopy, which is admittedly rather boxy. Oh, and if, Aleksei Stetskii, you are planning on making more concept art MOCs, might I suggest this or this? The pictures here would help you with the former, and the latter is basically an Eagle Transporter (pictures here). Good luck!
  22. There have been many fantastic large-scale renditions of Probots in the past (the one in the first picture is lowlead's, the second Gareth's) - I, too, would like to see this. I'll bet it's considered too obscure for UCS, though - a pity...
