    :wub: That's... beautiful. The DC one looks like the night, while the other one looks apocalyptic. Awww, I knew it would go that way. Drat, that stinks. Oh well.

    A little off topic, but Colby City was originally $50 while TDKR set was $40. Colby is a better deal. Anywho, that was quick! I think this one might be at your store only, though. I would love to pick up the two bigger sets half off to complete my collection.

    That's what I'm thinking- the only sets for the rest of this year (maybe) and next are new movie-based sets. However, I know they didn't do this last year, but they did this in 2011 where they showed the movie-based figures from The Avengers. I would love to see an updated suit Thor and Captain America. Doubt they'd have GotG sets. Now, if they are going to have a D2C X-Men set, it would be perfect to show it here, or at least the figures (they showed the Arkham figures at SDCC 2012).

    Sam was only in the Shelob set. They're going with movie-based sets. Here's the list of sets currently out: The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

    Well, these don't say Cuusoo on them, so my guess is the later. It's cool that these are getting a wide release... I hope they start to do more video game stuff that isn't Star Wars or Minecraft.

    They get their images from LEGO, judging by their other reveals and reviews of sets from LEGO (BTTF Time Machine), so I guess it's a bit unfair they're breaking the rules. I agree. I hope this isn't the most exciting January 2014 set. The 2011 reveal was the cool Tie Fighter (best big set of Jan. 2012 line) and the 2012 reveal was the awesome Rancor Pit (best big set of Jan. 2013 line). Of course, this is all my opinions.

    To be honest, I'm expecting one wave. I mean, why not? I also think, for non-licenses, we're only going to see Ninjago, Chima, this, and a little bit of City and Creator next January. Heck, Chima might not even be around.

    Wow, I never liked any of those. Especially the first one- sorry to those who consider it a classic piece. This piece is good. It works as a cockpit piece the best in my opinion. Also, bar > click/lock.

    That's what I'm thinking... But with the DC set being the one they already revealed, since they still haven't made an official announcement. I'm still hoping for the figures to be revealed, but it seems a little unlikely now.

    Awesome review Rufus! The figures in the set are amazing. The car... well, I like the Cuusoo version better to be honest. Like a lot of other people, the new hood is annoying to me. I don't completely agree with your final rating, but this is still a day one pickup for me.

    That was a quote from the review itself. He said that in the beginning, and the rest of it said something like "...said that, this review isn't for you." I am a bit curious why they took it down. I notified them that about the misspelling, since they didn't mention it in the review, so that may be the reason.

    Groovebricks made a good observation that the arm on Jek (?) might be an exclusive green... I think it's the quality/lighting, but there's a possibility.

    TMNT LEGO statue at SDCC! I'm so hoping this means stuff based on the new movie, not just to promote the already-out sets. I'm sure they'll mention something about it at TLG's TMNT section at SDCC, or in the booth for the new movie- like they did with Man of Steel.

    Best exclusive idea was last year was last year for me- the Hobbit Bilbo figure. It was cool because it came with and exclusive pouch, and an early release of Bilbo. That's what exclusives should be. This one is all good, but darn, do I want that box! It's beautiful!

    My life is complete! I've been mentioned on the Star Wars Forum blog. Yipee! Personally, I think this is better than the other mini-one from TRU. Except it's not free. Also, I didn't know that spoiler tags still made the images load on the server! Thanks for the heads up, I'm linkin' now!
