  1. I wonder if they were trying to empty out their stock of "impulse buy" sets with this promo. Assuming there were 140,000 orders and the cheapest Star Wars sets are about $10 USD, that is at least $1,400,000 of profit in a few hours!
  2. I ordered over Lego Shop the Imperial Battlepack (the Battlefront one); which is coming with the free Darth Revan figure. It is one of the first Star Wars purchases I have made in a few months now. Also with this purchase I will now have all four Battlepacks that came out this year (it was a great year for them wasn't it?).
  3. I got the confirmation too. Now it is just the suspense of waiting for the package to arrive in a few days. Hopefully it is here by the end of next week! I missed out on the first release of Revan, so I am glad he is mine know! I have been a longtime fan of the original KOTOR, so I will gladly have Revan join my collection!
  4. Goodnight everybody. Tomorrow we will awake to know if tonight was indeed the second coming of Darth Revan, or if the Sith-Cancelled Order-pocalypse has struck!
  5. Yes I am in the same boat. It is showing that my order is "In Process." I hope it came through okay, I don't want to waste time going to the Lego Store tomorrow, especially if I am informed that the order worked after all. Yeah we can do that sometimes...
  6. I saw Revan's number in my order, but now it isn't processing my payment...
  7. No Brickset did mention it; just it was a bit of a low-key article: http://brickset.com/article/23568/lego-star-wars-promotions-for-september-2016-revealed
  8. Yes but us crazy fanboys have been talking about it non-stop so I don't know if it is very low key anymore I am just picking up a battle pack or a microfighter, I will save the more expensive purchases for later down the road when I have more money (besides Lego released a like a half dozen D2C sets I really liked this year that I have yet to buy, so I really need to get saving!)
  9. The irony is that in Star Trek they have the technology to cure blindness, but there aren't many characters with prosthetic limbs (despite the fact they can also create a fully functioning android...)
  10. I feel like it is slowly approaching... I hope Shop @ Home is a good option, I don't want to have to drive to the Lego Store tomorrow; although my gut feeling tells me there won't be to bad of a crowd there.
  11. Now Brickset reports I have 394 minifigures, yikes! Give or take a few of course, but that should be pretty accurate.
  12. Yeah no kidding. I saw this topic bumped only for someone to briefly declare "I don't give a crap about this." You know it's not like some of us were shocked a favorite part of our childhood was cancelled a second time... If your going to say you don't like something at least put up a good description of why you feel that way, and while we can disagree with you, we will understand where you are coming from. The shortness of the post that bumped this thread, makes it seem like juvenile trolling.
  13. Megablocks was working with Sony Pictures just for the Spider-Man franchise. Disney held the rights to the Avengers films, comics, and cartoons. Disney allowed Lego to make Marvel sets at the same time Megablocks was making Spider-Man sets with Sony. In 2012 both Lego and Megablocks released different Spider-Man sets based on separate works (Sony's films for Megablocks/ Disney's cartoons for Lego). In 2014 it appears Sony moved their license back over to Lego since Lego made one polybag for the Amazing Spider-Man 2. Now that Disney has partial control over Spider-Man now, I bet the license is well secured in Lego's hands.
  14. No idea sadly. The Lego Store also told me they expected to stock 200 Revan figures that day at their location. I don't know if this applies to all stores.
  15. "<insert that tiresome argument>" I can say it now instead of it being replaced by "That Tiresome Argument...?" Looks like that still works, kind of...
  16. I asked my local Lego store about the promo and they said that the keychains will not be available for sale during the promo at the store. Could prevent obvious scalpers
  17. My thoughts after a few days of using the update: Desktop version is almost %100. It feels like Eurobricks should, which is good. A few tweaks to the design to bring back some unique styles to the individual forums and it will be perfect. The old spoiler tag isn't working last I checked, so prepare for everything to be spoiled! Mobile version still has some bugs. I can't get to my notifications and the forum menu directly on Mobile. To get to the Forum menu requires going through a topic and backtracking into the main menu.
  18. The details are very impressive!
  19. The Magnificent Seven last night. Makes me wish Lego still had a Western theme, or had approved the Western Modular town back when Cuusoo just started out. At least I got some Lone Ranger sets when that was around...
  20. Wow, the cover of the catalog was like a childhood Christmas flashback :)
  21. I am just hoping my local Lego Store has them in stock on that day. I have a math test the same time the store opens so I can't go there first thing, but as soon as I am out of class I am jumping in my car and driving straight to the store! I want that Revan! :) I am already tempted to use the figure to give him an alternative head and lightsaber for a 'redeemed' version.
  22. Am I the only one who is finding it funny all the old spoiler tags are visible now with the forum upgrade? I hope everybody has seen episode 7 by now (like it has been nearly a year so they better off!) or just opening this topic would instantly ruin everything!
  23. Bye Bye Star Wnrs? I wish Lego luck in this case, they are going to need it. A lot of it.
  24. Yeah I watched a preview clip of Thrawn to. It makes me upset I don't have Disney XD anymore Here is the clip for anyone interested:
  25. Looks like the cell phone version now has most of the functionality of the full version which is a nice upgrade. Particularly I can now go to the latest post in a thread by the new page select option, which previously was only available on desktop browsers. It is still going to take me a while to get used to the new look though, but I like what I am seeing.
