  1. Looks good. I haven't played much of the game since trying out the Beta, but from what I remember this is fairly accurate to the source material. The use of the old Hockey chest piece is rather nice parts usage.
  2. Why does Cassian look like Commander Riker? :D No seriously I think I want this set, even if it is just a landing pad with a bunker build. It actually looks like a cool place to display Imperial mini-figs. I kind of want to save up my money for this set, the Imperial Assault Tank, The Phantom, Krennic's Shuttle, the AT-ST, and the Death Star to get a good collection of Rebels-Rogue One-OT era figures; and I could see what ever Imperial wouldn't make sense to display in the Death Star (i.e. Thrawn, Shoretroopers, Death Troopers) would look really good meeting on this landing pad... I need to start saving then! :P
  3. My only question: Why hide it?
  4. That new Lando looks awesome! I already have the last red A-Wing, and this does seem weird given that a Rebels A-Wing is on the shelves right now too... But given that A-Wings normally have low price points I might have to pick this one up. Besides I can have a fleet with it and the previous A-Wing side by side!
  5. Sorry to dig up this thread again (its been quite a few months) but I think it is worth asking how you guys thought about Moana? (My sister is listening to the soundtrack right now so it is kind of stuck in my head...) Besides I want to jokingly say I think there was a Lego connection in Moana; she is from the island of Motunui... The Bionicles are from Mata Nui... Coincidence?! (No really during the whole movie I swore she kept saying she was Moana from Mata Nui... Must be a Toa of Water or something like that...)
  6. All very solid jokes in the latest post!
  7. I think most of us here would suggest trying to get them all! :) However you chose a good gift sampler for that kid. Ekimu and Umarak are great sets, and a great pair of "Hero vs. Villain" figures. I would maybe recommend though buying a creature such as Uxar for Umarak to "hunt" and for Ekimu to "save." Still even if you just buy the two sets you mentioned sounds like the kid will have a lot of fun!
  8. Doctor Strange two weeks back, Fantastic Beasts last week, Moana yesterday. All very good films. My dad is also trying to get me to see Hacksaw Ridge sometime soon too. Tis' the season for great movies.
  9. I showed that video to my sister yesterday and we both wanted to scream, "D*mn you Pixar for making us want to cry during the FREAKING TEASER TRAILER!!!"
  10. Maybe he could use the trans neon orange and then light the beam up with a black light to really make it pop!
  11. It was all fun and games for me until I hit the three hour mark of the game and it just unceremoniously finished on what seemed like only the fourth level... I heard there was some DLC which later corrected that, but my friend who owned the copy of the game I played it on I don't think ever bought the DLC. It was highway robbery when that game first dropped asking $60 for a half finished story and for $15 DLC to finish that story... There is a reason that game series was abruptly canceled before a third one could ever be made... I hope that my opinion doesn't detract from your experience playing the game, but my brief experiences with it have given me a rather fond dislike for that specific title. The first one was a lot better in the sense its brief story was a lot more rounded and fleshed out.
  12. Is Justin Hammer using the Detroit Steel armor to, TOUCH LOLA???? He is dead, so dead. Coulson is going to use his robot hand to crush Justin Hammer's lungs because he touched Lola... Anyways, I am so excited for this set. It looks very solid, and I kind of like how the large mech looks like an enemy to go up against the Hulkbuster from 2015. The Captain America set has some great minifigures, especially Captain's new jacket and Kamala; but the jet looks lame. Still I will probably be buying both!
  13. I think if the masks were just a solid color would have been best, with their second mask being the gold/transparent blend we did get; or even better, %100 transparent!
  14. Beautiful store, although I did have to chose "Not on your nelly!" as my poll option since obviously I live in America and this is a bit of a trip just to see the store! Anyways, I hope that mosaic maker becomes more common worldwide!
  15. I don't mind the Battlepack Death Troopers being more bland and simple, it gives the opportunity to build up proper ranks with the more detailed ones as commanders and the simpler designs being the lower ranking troops.I imagine though that all Death Troopers are high ranked than the run of the mill stormtrooper though...
  16. Revive a few of the retired licensed themes perhaps? Indiana Jones and Harry Potter come to mind. As for new stuff, I'd love to see what Lego would do with Star Trek or Halo but sadly Megablocks has those licenses (the newest Halo game is just T-Rated buts it's history of M-Rated games probably means Lego doesn't find it to be a brand fit...) As for licenses that don't have any existing construction themes, I think many Disney films could also be adapted into sets (Tron, Lion King, Hercules, Mulan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Zootopia, etc.) I think the resounding success of the Collectible Mininifigure sets and the castle could hopefully inspire Disney to do more with Lego. They should also consider making sets based on their theme parks, I think a Haunted Mansion set would sale like hot cakes! Also speaking of cartoons, since Lego also has a strong relationship with Warner Brothers they should make more sets based on the cartoons Time-Warner owns the rights to. They already did Scooby Doo sets from the Hannah Barbara division of WB, but imagine if Lego did a Collectible Mininifigure series based on Looney Tunes, Hannah Barbara, and even the WB 1990's TV shows such as Animaniacs? I think that would appeal very well to the collectors market, and we'd be able to display it alongside the pre-existing Disney and Simpsons lines.
  17. The Y-Wing is my favorite Star Wars spaceship, and although I already own one from 2012, I might get the new one too just so I can have two Y-Wing models side by side. The new one has some differences with the 2012 one, but proportionately looks to be about the same size.
  18. That reminds me of the fanon Lego Astromech design I've had since I was a kid, it just was a pair of eyes on top of a 2x2 slope brick I imagined was made by the Soro-Suub corporation for the purpose of competing with the R-Series by offering a smaller sized unit that could go where the R-Series couldn't... For some reason now what you've said about why you chose Chopper over a standard R-Series reminds me of that. Astromechs are rather large considering they are just a glorified navigation computer with a built in Swiss Army knife tool set. I guess BB-8 could also more easily fit that space, but then you get the whole timeline issue involved with that.
  19. I also just noticed that the astromech droid in the bay is the short legs version like Chopper from Rebels. I assume he would be the droid used in the final build?
  20. I like how it has the classic Legends look of the Z-95, yet has the paint scheme of the Canon Z-95 from The Clone Wars; its a great blend of the two and really suggests that this was indeed the ship that was the precursor to the X-Wing. If you ever decide to upload the LFX File, I would love to download it and archive the design to someday build one myself.
  21. I bought Ekimu a few weeks ago. I really like him; especially since he is our last Bionicle hero character to get a set... The transblue is what really sells the set to me, it looks so mystical. Makes me wish we had gotten all the Toa's mask in transparent hues.
  22. Would be interested in seeing your pictures, and perspective from a Lego fan on how they feel about it.
  23. I think Marvel being a licensed theme probably will be revealed "last" compared to its non-licensed counterparts, but the fact that the Batman sets have been revealed gives me hope Marvel will be soon. From the rumors we have heard I am most excited for the Detroit Steel vs. Iron Man and Coulson set; Ms. Marvel in a set (I haven't even read her comics, but it sounds like it is going to be an awesome figure); and I also want to get the Iron Man v. Thanos Mighty Micro just so I can have that cartoony/old school Iron Man suit (I might give it long legs to make it part of the "Hall of Armor." And somehow that goofy grin on the figure's face captures Robert Downey Jr.'s goofiest looks so well it actually looks like it would work as another MCU face in conjunction with the previous Iron Man heads we have gotten).
  24. I heard a rumor that the gem will actually show in Thor 3 instead of Guardians, since I guess the director of Guardians V.2 has outright said there are no gems in his film.
  25. I guess it's true, "there is a prototype for everything!"
