  1. Well, I can take a train to a station where a certain bear from darkest peru was first found, then on to windsor via Slough (apparently) and then I need to find transport between the station and the hotel.. Taxi? Bus? I will need to use the interwebs to find myself a way

  4. Two Minutes! And Done! Voting is now Closed Watch this space!
  5. Hmm, I could buy it or i could sneakily pinch it from in the office... (I work in an Engineers office, they buy The Sun for the opinions, apparently page three always has a nice pair...) I think a send away will be best this time.
  6. This latest votes have been noted. Only 30 minutes left to vote!
  7. If you are buying 20 parts from PaB online, then the time will be a lot less than $150 worth! That is a lot of Lego to sort and such a service was designed more for a child wanting some cool extra parts than an AFOL building a CC modular or a SHIP (or something else rather huge) so the time estimate is set on a more average order.
  8. I like classic Hal... He doesn't have seperated toes (this is worse than bat nipples man!). It is a good custom, shame that the film decided to go the weird route though....
  9. MinifigFreak, really can yout just drop it? If the origin is such an issue for you, leave them alone, don't buy them. Leave the rest of us to go buy them for ourselves and happily mix them because there is no such possibility of "damage". I've mixed figures with compatible brand and custom parts with no problems, ever!
  10. That is true Bonaparte! 3/ Ignacia Village quy - 1 13 Attack on the Nile by Yatkuu & Pixel Fox - 1 18/ Treasure hunt on the river Nile by Nieks - 1 21 Professor Hale's Oasis Hacienda by Rufus -2 32 The Final Ruins by Jalkow - 2 are my votes. Those were all fab. All the entries are great testament to the creativity and ability of the builders, thank you for your effort and remember to keep in mind the variety in Action themes next time you MOC!
  11. I know it isn't Lego, I know you might be grumpy. But I know far too many like the good Doctor... The Daily Mirror is giving away the Character Building figures starting today.
  12. That poianist must have eight arms, he is amazing!
  13. Those photos look great. Thanks I wanna go next year! Just an FYI, but that is St Pancras. A gothic masterpiece and triumph of victorian engineering.
  14. Ok then. I'll go ahead and lock this thread.
  15. Yes, 12 year olds really shouldn't shout it out in their 4th post on the forum. 18+ is the rule.

  17. We also ask for maturity in members. Something a twelve year old isn't very good at.
  18. Well, they don't say Megablocks on them and they aren't actually Megablocks bricks. Very few people seem to understand that there are other brands out there and "if they don't look like Lego they must be Mega but if they don't look like Mega they must be Lego" is a thought many have. I reckon about 75% of this forum wouldn't know what the very first Mega brand figs looked like, as it is a lot of people only know the Dragons era figures, possibly the TMNT and Power Rangers ones. Then there is of course the PotC, Halo and Marvel mini-action figure style ones that are better known due to the popularity of Halo. So a seller without much AFOL knowledge would happily sell figures like that as Lego, becuase that is how they look.
  19. That lot has some Sluban or other generic clone brand figures mixed in with a bunch of random parted minifigs. All the guys in blue are clone, there are 8 total full clone and one that is a Lego clone mix. Hope that helps
  20. Yeah, Liago are bootleggers, they appropriate set designs and sell them cheap and poor quality. Before there are complaints, I am going to have to move this to community.
