I popped a mail about this to the LDD Team and got a response this evening: "Yes we are aware of the problemn and have people working on it. Thank you for letting us know." So reassuring news I suppose.

With LDD Manager you can create a LXF file with all bricks in all produced colors. Just download the BL "Part and Color Codes" catalog from here and then use the "create LXF" function in LDD Manager. The result should be a massive file with I'm guessing about 15.000 bricks. I haven't tried this, but in theory it should work

That's interesting news. There's a lot of hype around it for sure. In any case, I'm a "silenct pc" nut, and I'm looking forard to the reduced power consumption of the Ivy Bridge (from what I've read that is).

Nice spec Bojan I'm waiting for Ivy Bridge myself. I was ready to buy a new system this fall with Bulldozer, but since that didn't add much performance improvement, I thought I'd wait for Ivy. I'll defintely go with a SSD too.

Great job! I really liked the simplicity in how you made it - shows it doesn't have to be super complicated to make a great stop-motion. It was quite funny also, for example when the minifigs just come in and kill each other off The music choice was excellent too.

Great work on those models. The Mars rover actually looks cool without the solar planels on I'm not sure I fully understand the collision errors though. Is there anyway you can post some more details about those. Also, I noticed the links to the LXF-files didn't work. There is missing a "/".

Yepp, that was one of the methods (hard core editing ) But I seem to remember there was a clever way to do it in the GUI too.

I agree. It was just that I was wondering if for this forum it might be better to recommend Brickshelf. For example there are all the LXF-files shared in the "Official sets" topic. If they are placed on brickshelf, they will mostly likely stay there independent if local computer settings, sync options, free vs. paid version and other stuff you have in DropBox. For example, what happens if a user does not use his DropBox for, say one year. Is the account removed? I know this is how it used to be with Hotmail (Skydrive). If you didn't log into your account regularly, it would be deleted. I like Dropbox - I have an account, but for certain purposes (like the above mentioend Official sets LXF-files), I'm wondering if it's not better to go with Brickshelf? Sorry if I'm sounding old-fashioned and backwards thinking here - I'm just thinking of avoiding those "file couldn't not be found" when clicking on links...

Hi and welcome to the forum. That was an interesting find And keep those bug reports coming... That's probably so. There was a post about this (how to "cheat" the grid), but I can't really remember when. Maybe someone else remembers (or can explain how to do it)
