How about the Marty minifig from the BTTF CUUSOO set? The colours are a bit off (maybe that can be corrected with the lighting) but the outfits are rather similar. Ah too bad, but I don't want you to tear it apart. Thank you anyway.

These pics are always so awesome. Very impressive, you really nailed those scenes. I just love how you built the operations center. Would you mind sharing a pic of the complete MOC like you did with Newt's Rescue?

Brilliant! I'll never get tired of Alien(s) MOCs, especially when they're this good.

The Old Republic (SWTOR): Views on current and future sets
Elrond replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well they did cancel a profitable tv series to replace it by their own after all. But like I said, I don't think TOR's existence is threatened atm or in the near future. It's just that they might consider it as non-canon in a few years if (when) they start making movies or series about the Old Republic. That's pretty much what is already happening to the TFU games/novels/comics. -
The Old Republic (SWTOR): Views on current and future sets
Elrond replied to Something_Awesome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm loving the designs of both the minifigures and the vehicles, so I hope they'll make more TOR sets. However, I'm not sure Disney is too fond of the game. It looks like they want to create their own expanded universe so TOR might be in the way. I just hope it won't share TCW's fate too soon... but I guess we're safe for now as it seems they're busy rewriting what's after and between the existing episodes. -
I love it. There are so many details. Great job.

Alright, I know a little more precisely what I would like to see... Fellowship of the Ring - The Last Alliance: Small diorama, Sauron, Isildur, 2 elves, 1 Numenorean - The Bridge of Khazad-dûm: The bridge (obviously), some structures on each side, the Balrog, Gandalf and 3 Moria orc archers - Amon Hen: The main structure (see pic below), some trees, Aragorn, Boromir, Lurtz, 2 uruk-hai scouts (with new helmets) The Two Towers - Treebeard: uruk-hai camp, some trees, Treebeard, Merry, Pippin, Grishnak, 1 uruk-hai scout - The Golden Hall: Nuju Metru's MOC is pretty great, I'd maybe just replace one of the Rohirrims by one of the King's guards - Osgiliath Ruins: Some destroyed structures, a Fell beast with a Ringwraith, Frodo, Faramir, 2 rangers The Return of the King - The Fall of Osgiliath: some ruins, an orc landing craft, Gothmog, 2 orcs, Madril, 2 Gondorian soldiers - Siege of Minas Tirith: Minas Tirith gates, orc catapult or siege tower, 1 troll, Gothmog on warg, 3 orcs, Gandalf, Pippin, 2 Gondorian soldiers - Battle of the Pelennor Fields #1: Mumakil, 4 Haradrims, 1 Haradrim captain, Eomer on his horse - Battle of the Pelennor Fields #2: Small diorama, Fell beast and Witch King, Eowyn, Merry Battle Packs - Rohan: Small watchtower or wooden fence, 2 of the King's guards (including Gamling?), 2 Rohirrims - Isengard: Battering ram, small ladder, Isengard standard, 1 scout, 2 regular soldiers, 1 berserker - Lorien: Small Lorien diorama (tree?), 2 archers, 1 swordsman, 1 regular Lorien elf - Gondor: Trebuchet, 2 rangers, 2 Gondorian soldiers - Mordor: catapult, either 2 orcs (new deco) + 1 Haradrim + 1 Easterling or 2 orcs + troll or 3 orcs + warg The Lorien elves and the Rohirrims could maybe be brought together within one single BP.

Bought The Battle of Helm's Deep (9474). It would have been sad to miss such an awesome set.

That's fantastic, you really captured the atmosphere of that scene perfectly and the corridors of the colony look great. I hope we'll see more Aliens MOCs from you. :-p

I don't watch many animated series but I guess it would be nice to have some Legend of Korra sets. They could even go back to ATLA (and hopefully do a better job with it). As for the traditional series, I'd love to see TLC make some sets based on the 2004 Battlestar Galactica series... but that will never happen.

I don't know if LEGO will still be allowed to make JP sets. Apparently Kre-o got the rights to produce JP toys for the new movie.

Wait guys, I don't think the firehouse is part of the set. It's just shown on the first pic as background. The pics in the description only show the car and the 4 ghostbusters. Anyways, I'm excited by this. As far as LEGO licenses are concerned, Ghostbusters was on top of my list. I used to build the Ecto-1 when I was a kid and I'd love the see a real set based on that car. If this gets approved, I wonder if TLC will release it immediately though. They might want to wait for GB3 to come out and make a complete Ghostbusters theme.

This looks much better. Vast improvement.

Azog has been released as a Comic-Con exclusive. Are we still going to get one in a regular set?
-
Yeah, I would have liked to see more movie-accurate swords and shields (those in the Moria set look nothing like the ones from the movie) but I fear it will never happen. If they release it, I hope they won't have any problem with yet another religious group because the Balrog looks like a demon. They probably won't be new. They'll certainly re-use headpieces from the Ninja/Ninjago themes and from PoP. Not to mention the Haradrim captains don't even wear anything on their heads. Moreover, if we get Haradrims it will most probably be with an oliphant, which means a completely new mold. We probably won't get any other new piece in that set... I fear oliphants might even be too big to get a representation (and they might not look good if they're made of bricks). Kre-o (Hasbro) already owns the Star Trek license.

- Attack of the Wargs - The Bat vs. Bane - Tumbler Chase - The Swamp Creature - Vampyre Hearse

Yeah I thought about that one too but the main problem is see with such a set is the minifigs. So far, all LOTR and Hobbit sets contain at least 1 exclusive minifig (79005 being an exception) and I think that's also pretty much the case for all the licensed sets. The only minifigs that could be included in a Balrog set are members of the Fellowship and Moria orcs, and we've already had those in other sets. Also, I just had another idea for the Two Towers: a set based on the battle between the warg riders and the Rohirrims.
-
I feel like there aren't many new sets they could make for the first 2 movies. Maybe: - Amon Hen (with Boromir and Lurtz, because we've already had too many Aragorns and Gimlis) - Some set based on Edoras - Treebeard - Osgiliath (with Faramir, Frodo, a Ringwraith and his Fell beast and maybe a Gondorian ranger) But IMO what we really need is battle packs: - Rohirrims - Lorien elves - Last Alliance There are more possibilities for the 3rd film however: - Mumakil - Larger set based on Minas Tirith (the gates maybe. They could even make a smaller set with soldiers like they did for Helm's Deep) - Fall of Osgiliath (with Gothmog, Madril and some soldiers) - Witch-King vs Eowyn - Gondor battle pack (Gondorian soldiers + rangers or guards) - Orc catapult and/or siege tower
-
I just realized the prices for the larger LOTR sets were already going up so I decided to buy the Mines of Moria (9473). I got the set for a little less than 45€.
-
I always assumed that we'd see the battle of the 5 armies in this movie and that the third one would mostly be a made-up story. However, judging by the name of those sets, it seems it will be the other way round.

Yeah, I think they'll just go for the most iconic places and vehicles (like the Kwik-E-Mart, Moe's Tavern, Otto's bus and of course the Simpsons' house and car). There are way too many episodes to make episode-specific stuff.
-
Yeah, it first came out in the 2008 Indy sets. It has been used in many other sets since then. http://www.brickset....h/?part=4524449 It now pretty much replaces the old pirate map.

Meh. I liked the Simpsons when I was younger but I stopped watching the show a long time ago. I feel like it's a bit late for this. The Simpsons were a lot more popular in the late 90's and early 2000's. Also not sure which demographic group will be the main target here. I have the impression most kids nowadays don't really care about the series while most adults prefer earlier episodes and pretty much moved on and turned to other shows.

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
Elrond replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
- Red Skull (comics and movie versions) - Hydra soldier (First Avenger movie) - Blade - TDKR Catwoman - TDK Joker - TDK Harvey Dent - Lucius Fox -
From the movies, I'd like to see Cmdr Bacara and some Galactic Marines. Probably also more Palpatines (Senator, Ep. I-II Sidious, Senate Duel). Aside from those, I think we've pretty much covered all the interesting characters and soldiers. From the EU: - Republic Commandos - Grand Admiral Thrawn - KotOR Sith troopers - Revan - Malak - Bastila Shan - Darth Nihilus More TOR characters are always welcome too.
