Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
robuko replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I just noticed that "X-Men Days of Future Past" is a 2014 release. Lego Halle Berry and Patrick Stewart please! I guess the X-jet is the no-brainer set for this. -

Seems fine to me. Good luck! -
A very nice build, and delightful presentation. The lightning rod thing is especially well chosen.

A Call to Arms: The Battle of Queenscross

That was amazing! Heart in mouth, all the way. It actually felt like a real battle, with chance playing such a decisive role. Our prayers to the injured and the lost, and we give thanks that the forces of Historica have held Queen's Cross. But at such a cost!- 123 replies

Amazing performances from both the German teams! -
We have a new rule. I spent my bonus this year on SDCC and NYCC minifigures and they are not for playing. But that's for me as well as him. I am not too bothered about the sets, most pieces can be bricklinked if they get trashed or vanish. When I am MOCing for Guilds of Historica, it's kind of no-touch (my builds are generally not solid and deadlines are tight IRL) until it's time for doing photo studio. Then my son can take photos with me and everything is his castle after that to play whatever he wants - usually it becomes a garage for Lightning McQueen. I just landed a Constitution train for my birthday. "No Daddy, it's mine". He just turned 3.

An inspiration as always. We are not worthy! -
Spider cycle. 3 awesome figs and 2 very playable vehicles.

The lighting and presentation are really nice Kai, your building skills are growing every time. The use of colour and contrast is good, and I like the recurring motif of stacked 1x1 round bricks. The jumper plate on the bottom stair bothers me a bit. I rally like the bustle in the marketplace, and your wave effect is very elegant. Great build

I think these will be valued as incomplete sets eg at market price - cost of replacement parts - shipping and hassle discount. Good luck

Supersaturated flowers, beautiful woodwork, and sinister goings on...the sorting hat puts you into.... a CBB MOC! I like your experimentation with the tan plates and the stonework looks good too. Nice build.

Very nice first chapter, Kai. I really like the use of colour, the sand looks fantastic. Nice link up of your story too

The green leaves look awesome, it is my favourite part of the model. I admit that I did interpret it as being swamp vegetation though. Alternative suggestion - a layer of trans green plates with an irregular layer of trans clear plates on top. great build

I wish we were faster to send the heliotropes, they could have destroyed the ships easily. What is the treachery on the bridge? Amazing battle. It seems Viktor's forces are a lot stronger than we feared- 123 replies

What I have done in the last 4 days solid building - 2 WIPs (as well as the army stuff) This is the Royale Casino in Lost Vega This is King's College waiting on bricklink orders for the needed recolours. It really took me all of 4 days, but I am quite happy with both. Only 1 more building weekend to finish! Hope everyone else is getting there too.
