I like it! Good way to re-use a limited palette of bricks (like me each time I build a MOC ) -
Hello everybody! Here it is the summer update of my town diorama... this year there aren't many modifications since I've already reached the maximum space available. For this reason I've started to replace some of the buildings on a rotation basis... If you compare these pictures to last year's, you'll see a missing building... Well, said building (a tan house) hasn't gone, but it will replace another one in future, and so on... I've added a 16-wide gap between the department store and the fire station in order to add some variety to the street. Hope you like Not much has changed here... So, here's said gap, and there is a missing building... City park is still there, and, oh, there's a baby! Much space now! Hope to show you more updates in the next weeks!

Hello! This is a new version of the old construction site I had in my diorama; I've adapted it in a 16-wide baseplate and made more realistic: Backside with crane: Hope you like :)

Excellent! I wish TLG release a crane like that! :)

Wow! This deserves to be built with real bricks! :)

In a first version of my town (not-modular) I used light bluish gray sidewalks: Actually my town is fully modular so sidewalks are dark bluish gray with a light gray border: Hope it helps

What was your first major City/Town building?
SalvoBrick replied to exon_from_youtube's topic in LEGO Town
My first buildings were the "Minitalia" ones, but the first proper building was set 361: It was my gift for Christmas 1974. I had lots of fun for many years and I still have a good part of the bricks, even if they are _very_ used... -
The park integrated in my diorama: Even if Chrismas is over, Santa is still giving presents to the children: View of the street with some minor changes (shop's facade, bus stop...) ... and more changes to come! Hope you like :)

Aaand Merry Christmas anyone!

Thanks for the interest :) The balloon bottom is this piece: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15395#T=C while the top is the classic 2 x 2 dome top. I did the custom stickers: they are made using a simple graphic software (like GIMP or photoshop) and printed on adhesive glossy paper.

Hello! Maybe my last creation for 2015. A small city park or public garden. A place where anyone can enjoy some open air and relax. Of couse there is a coffee kiosk of our favourite brand of overpriced coffee ;) Detail of the coffee kiosk: Larry found a job, finally Soon will be placed in my diorama, and more pictures will follow soon :) Hope you liked

Who said the city theme today is only fire and police sets? Of course civilian building are not in the "city" theme, but in the "creator" one, but only with minor modifications you can build a whole town only using the lates building: there are shops, building and houses. Recently I bought on discount some of the latest houses: two "beach cabin" sets and a "four seasons" one. In my opinion the "beach cabin" is the best, for a small price you can build a cute house. With small mods, using only the pieces you find in the set you can turn all the buildings in cute houses you can use for your town. I wanted to show my idea before tearing all them down and re-use the bricks for my personal MOCs Hope you liked :)
