  1. For starters, Bricklink is a good online store to get sets (bricklink.com), also the normal Lego store is good to go to. I recommend starting with some small sets, like battle packs. Good source for minifigs and parts in general. Just follow the instruction manual and everything should turn out just fine. Anyway, good luck to you, hope you like it!
  2. Can I still sign up? ofcourse I can still sign up... I'm pretty new to the star wars side of Eurobricks, but I'd like to join here as well. If I can join, can I be a stormtrooper? If so, I'd like to be this guy: Stormtrooper Alfadas, ready to fight for the Empire!
  3. That's one fine looking car, fits great in an 80's or 90's action movie, where they just get blown into pieces... but it sure looks great!
  4. I would like to see spears, 2 hand-axes, maybe a different kind of helmet (without horns, I love the current one, but just one without horns) and to complete it, the seax (dagger-thingy). Those are weapons/helmets I'd really like to see. Your current viking items are just amazing, I love the swords, one-handed axes, shields especially, helmets and the armour. Basically the whole line. I do wonder, how long does it take to design these things? and what, if any, computer programs you use to design them. (I don't want to start making them myself, but I'm just interested in what you use)
  5. Nice figs ECC, those look amazing! The double cape looks very nice. probably will post some (40ish) figs myself soon... But they wont be as good as yours, ECC!!
  6. Nice. I love those kettlehelmets, and those Dirks also look very nice. Although the flamberge looks very nice, it's not really my style. But, great new items! (when will we see more viking stuff?)
  7. Wow, nice build. Also great posing of the minifigs.
  8. Looks very good. Nice stonework. The details are nice, those chains look very well placed. Great work. Keep it up!
  9. Nice design. Roof looks very cool! Great work once more.
  10. Nice work on this one, once again. Also, nice interior. The snow and stone path look very nice too.
  11. Nice build, also great story, very well written. Also the figures look very cool. Great build!
  12. How nice of you to include me in your story ! Also the inn looks very nice!
  13. Very nice army! Indeed nice variety.
  14. Well, how I used to do it, was buy a set, assemble it entirely (including the figures), then once I got a bit bored with the set (mostly after a few weeks) I got the figures and looked at them and thought what pieces of them could I use? Most often I would only use headpieces and hair, sometimes a nice torso. Now how I do it, is I took apart all my historic yellow figs (from the castle and viking lines) except the Classic Castle ones, put all the torsos in a boxthingy, all the legs and so on. When I feel like making a new figure, I just search for nice pieces. Hope this helped, though it's a bit of a mixed way.
  15. Hi everybody, it's been a while (I had a bit of a dark period, very short luckily, and I was busy with school stuff too), but I'm back You might notice a slight chance in my sigfig, once I upload a picture of it. Alfadas has grown a beard and stated wearing a helmet. I will soon post some builds for AoM (if that's still running). Also, I tried to see if there are any challenges going on, but it appears I missed it, as a lot of you guys now have a new thingy under your profile picture. Now that I'm back, I hope to stay. My photography skills still suck, my building skills haven't improved much, but I'm mostly here for the fun Also, welcome to all the new members. EDIT: I see I also have the dwarf thingy under my profile picture, where is it from? EDIT 2: I found out that if I take pictures with my smartphone, they turn out better then with my camera. So, photography skills did improve
  16. Love the Alleenridders (and the Dutch names some of them have).
  17. Sorry... I don't spend a lot of time here, most of it is on Historic/Guilds of Historica...
  18. Just got and build the Brick Bounty, and it is an amazing ship! It is my first pirate ship (not first ship, viking longboat was the first). Love the ship, the bluecoats are amazing (shame the sergeant didn't get a hat) and i love the cook. He has a drunk face, love that.
  19. Nice one! One question, what is the torso of the dude with the orc hair? don't recognize it.
  20. I would like vikings, with more longboats and maybe opposing vikings or romans or indians (they did go to America) or people from Wessex and Northumbria (people they raided in modern day England). That would be nice.
  21. I'll keep that in mind! Thanks!
  22. Well, I have neither, but I am planning to get the Brick Bounty, so I'm gonna go with Brick Bounty.
  23. Thanks! Yeah, but tiles is something I have very little of. But I'll try and improve!
