Welp, now that you mention it. My subconscious must have kicked in when I made the scene.

Mission E-11 Fascini Cluster Tags, Exploration, We have been exploring these huge rocks for weeks now and I detected a man made structure on one of the larger asteroids so we decided to land and investigate. "Sir, this looks like the entrance, what do you think?" "I don't know Redshirt 4, those arrows and round door......could be a soda machine, or a bubbler." "Bubbler sir?" "Never mind......" We found a silver device of some sort on one of the chambers. Redshirt 4 decided he wanted to hold it. "Sir, there seems to be a on off switch.....should I activate it....while I point this end at me?" "Nooooooooooooooooo" Well....at least I don't have to fill out his pay sheet this week. We moved on, leaving the carnage behind us and found another room with a odd looking helmet in it. Concerned was I, odd it is. The chamber was lit up with torches, a odd power was in the room. I couldn't put my finger on it as much as I forced myself to try. Redshirt 3 decided he was going to be funny and put it on. "Look sir, it fits.......arrrrrggghhhhh......You.....you will bow before me......there is some dark force......BOW" "Redshirt, don't make me do it!" "DARKSIDE!!!!" I sliced the poor reshirts head clean off.... That's it, I am noping the heck outta this place, no way, no how do I want anything more to do with this odd hocus pocus stuff from wherever it came from! Yup, bury the entrance, don't tell anyone at all about this. Not even CEO Raven is going to hear about this. I am going to go back to my hanger, work on my ship and pretend this never happened. I am going to stick to being a Pilot, this exploration stuff is way above my pay grade.

Mission: To search the Awesomnium rich asteroid belt of the Fascini Cluster. Tags: Kawashita. Pilot. Spaceship I've chosen a extremely small ship for this scout mission. I though about taking one of the larger class ships but with the corporation in a downsize mode right now and Aweseomnium being a little tight I figure I'll take the Firebat scout ship So small and maneuverable it can zip around the asteroids as if they weren't even there. It's also really, really comfortable. I can lie down and take a nap while the autopilot does the work. Oh, and folding wings, every ship should have folding wings. A tiny rear engine keeps it moving along at a decent pace Thanks for looking! I have been building a giant GI Joe display with Lego the last few weeks so my MOC's here have been obviously sparse. I finished the Firebatand thought it fit in really well here. Hope you like it

Great build. I do love the stories you tell.

Oops, I might have disqualified myself......It was handed out at Brickworld a few years ago if my memory serves. I believe we are not allowed non-Lego parts and bricks. Judges?

Mission : K-D10 The Hamilton Belt Trying to get back to work after a long hiatus I have enlisted some new employees to help with supplies. They work harder than the red shirts I have and don't seem to die all the time. Easily identifiable as not Octan or MANTIS, these orange and white uniforms should confuse everyone. They are clumsy at times though.... I don't know what is in the rocks, but I've been told it is worth something to someone I sure hope the corporation is ok with my little extended vacation I went on.

Mission: Extract gold from lava flows on Guinevere A-06 Tags: Kawashita, Guinevere, Time to make the donuts, so to speak. The bosses sent us to the gold rich planet of Guinevere and it looks like gold is on their minds. We have a small processing facility located on the planet. The idea is to use the lava nearby and flow it into the line. Then mix the gold we find with the lava, which burns off the impurities. After it is pure, solid gold we shape it into bricks for transport and use. "Hmmm, this section seems to be plugging up, let me just un jam it with my purity extractor. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" "Dang it man! You should know not to get that close to the lava, the temperatures are dangerously high and volatile! "Not another.....ok, stuff him in a transport box. I really don't feel like filling out more TPS reports for a red shirt." "Ok, mark these two crates "MANTIS ONLY" so when we need to do some trading they can deal with disposal." "Sir, is that the Kawashita way? Honor? Pride? All that?" "He is a red shirt, it's all good." "Sir, I need to talk to you about my vacation time.....I ah.....have a mother sick......my alien needs to go to the Vet.....I think I left a stove on..." "Red shirt.....if you operated a stove you would already be gone."

Thanks Turtle! I am trying different things every time I build. It's hard to get out of the comfort zone and away from the old school Lego sets I grew up with. The builds here are great inspiration! Also thanks to Space Police XVIII for the help cleaning up the image for me!

Location: C-10 Marden Tags: Kawashita, Spaceship, Pilot After a week vacation on Sorn I decided that it is time to bring out the big guns. MANTIS is getting dangerously close to Kawashita territory and I will no longer have any of it. At 150 studs long and decked out with enough firepower to bring down any large ship the K-BR549 is ready for anything. A crew of 5 has their work cut out for them. Just trying to keep tabs on all the controls and weapons has every redshirt working overtime. The communication and radar sensors at the front can send messages to any part of the galaxy and the radar can scan and process trillions of bytes of data in a few moments. The weapon systems are spread out along the bow to deter any interlopers. With aliens in the galaxy they will be used frequently. The main deck is fortified to handle any laser cannons that could possibly get in range. Three engines keep the BR moving along. Col. Brik waving at the crowd. Large size photo Another large photo On a side note, I am really not experienced with photoshop or any photo altering programs and I'd like to include this in SHIPtember, the first photo is the one I need to work on for the SHIPtember poster, if anyone could clean it up for me, that would be awesome. If not, no worries, I need to learn someday :)
