Thank you very much for the link and clarification. Much appreciated!

I had seen it listed and posted in this forum in the past and thought it was great. I tried to find that post again but my search mojo is lacking the last two days. With getting four green space figs with the two exosuits I purchased I was thinking about the jobs for each fig, how the green figs fit into it and couldn't find the listed jobs. Any help? Thank you.

Evening everyone, I am again doing a 25 days of Christmas for our families adventures. Last year we had our adventures around our home. This year, I hope to vary our adventures and my ideas. I hope you enjoy. Dec 1st, My wife has solved how to handle Black Friday (crazy Christmas shopping day in America) by wielding two axes. Dec 2nd. "Get off my lawn!". Be careful Christmas caroling, some may not like it!" Dec 3rd. "Terrible Hunting season" In my State there are multiple hunting seasons for Whitetail Deer during Christmas time, this was a unlucky hunt so far, we should look down Dec 4th "What I wish for Christmas" Dec 5th "What I wish for Christmas II" Dec 6th "Do you boys even knock?" the kids have their lists ready Dec 7th My youngest puts his MOC in, I can't explain the body, the guy empting the septic or the dog peeing but I can explain the fig is happy to get pants Dec 8th My wife isn't going off the coach to help shovel snow when there are Christmas shows on Dec 9th Its cold out there Dec 10th I know what I want for Christmas Dec 11th Sorry for a bad day, I feel ill the last 24 hours so I rehash a old photo from last years advent Dec 12th Time to find a tree Dec 13th I guess I shouldn't have put them up there Dec 14th Do you want to be around when she wakes up? Dec 15th Is Santa THE best mobster to ever live or what? Dec 16th It is like crack to her, she never stops wrapping Dec 17th trying to get a Christmas photo taken Dec 18th You're 49 days late, bub Dec 19th I heard the Russians are invading and something about Red Dawn? I am here to help Dec 20th No, there is no disturbance here and those aren't the droids anyone is looking for! Dec 21st Again, there is no disturbance here and you're not even a real police officer! Dec 22nd Now it's a party Dec 23rd Yes he is getting coal for Christmas Dec 24th He doesn't look so good, but just one more day left of the chaos. Dec 25th, Merry Christmas

I've been reading more on this today and brothers-brick had a nice link to a article, http://www.newelementary.com/2013/09/bricks-inc.html After reading through that and learning more about how BL grew and got the information it has now I do wonder if the Lego Group will get involved and explain to BL that they are doing things they shouldn't be doing. I know people are going to ask me why that would happen, what has BL done to get Lego involved? I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that one but I would think it would involve using Lego terminology, part numbering? I think BL would have been wiser to ask BO to stop using the sync feature and leave the complaint at that. Involving the naming and numbering system opens up a whole new can of worms.

I have no horse in this race. I didn't know about brickowl until you posted this topic. I've used bricklink in the past, purchasing a few items and looking up parts. I have read, and looked at the situation and I think as the above poster mentions, this could get dirty fast. I do like BO's layout much more than BL's.

Well done, nice layout and building ideas!

North America Release in Feb 2014, what a nice time of year, at least for me being in the upper midwest. It is cold, snow on the ground and not much going on outdoors. I am usually in full Lego mode during that time of year. The movie will be a wonderful addition and I suspect might keep my 11 year old son still interested in Lego. As he has hit pre-teen, toys, specifically Lego, has been pushed to the side. Sports, girls, video games, sports, and sports are his focus right now. I still am building and loving Lego, and so is my youngest. After showing both of them the trailer last night they both said they can't wait to see it. Well played, Lego group, you grabbed the attention of a kid who was just losing focus on Lego and yanked him right back in. Well played indeed.

Great display by the eurobricks group. I enjoyed looking it over and finding all the interesting details. The amount of moving parts was also pretty nice.

I'll also be there only Sunday. Being your first event. Arrive very early to get in before the large crowds. When we have gone in the past the event has stayed active and open until the end of the day when the AFOL's and fans start packing up. Special events usually would be earlier in the week for those registered but there usually is something going on to see. I keep saying I need to register or stay over night and see more but my schedule never allows it. You will wish you had more than one day to walk around and talk. I know I do!

Thank you both. Yes, my youngest is really the big Lego fan and he played with it for a few hours after completion. He helped in the building process, finding certain bricks and "suggesting" things. He enjoyed himself and is going to try and copy my work with a smaller hull set we have. So I guess if I name this ship it will be the "PBR Brock".

[pid][/pid] 145D I really never had a plan when I started this, it was going to try and rebuild my old #6285 but I don't have nearly all the old bricks or odd parts needed to finish it so I just went off on another direction. This is the end result. I tried to balance playability and looks since I'd like it to be fun for my kids to play with and still look pretty good. Comments, suggestions, critique, or hehe, praise, is appreciated....Enjoy, I present, "PBR Brock"

My original avatar, Below is my new Avatar, with a little back story. The below MOC is for my fig and the game I enjoy, Planetside 2. The vehicle in the background is the Mosquito which is the attack fighter for the and with the snow, I'd be on Esamir, fighting the and . Enjoy!

We have this set also, just purchased this week and my son enjoyed the build and the flat bed tow truck is his new favorite. Your review is very well done, good job. I'd personally give this set a 8/10, the maroon cars color is very nice, IMO. The figs are nothing new, but do the job just fine.

Yes, the boys thought the snowman was a little creepy and we think he might have moved once, so not taking any chances, they burned him up. I will update/edit the front page each day. I just started using imgr (late to the party) and haven't gotten used to cropping them yet. Thanks for the kind words. The house is actually a vignette of our home, I will put a updated photo up for comparison. Thanks everyone. -

Hmm, not sure, Day one should be the family photo, all looking at the camera, day two is the three of us boys peeing in the yard :) -
Apologies for possibly placing this in the incorrect forum but it will be "story telling" and I hope it is ok. I just thought I would share a little fun I am having among friends on facebook. Last year we did our family Christmas photo with minifigs. It was a big hit. This year, wanting to top lasts, I decide to make our home with minifigs standing outside. It then grew into a advent, each day is a new scene, a little different/odd/wierd compared to the last. I just thought I'd share since it has been awhile since I was in the forums, always lurking, but I haven't contributed in a long time. My inspiration for this comes from the Reasonably Clever webcomic. I always laugh when I read it and the advent fun is pretty cool. Please let me know if the links are not working, thank you. Thanks. With a wife, two little Lego maniacs, work and other stuff I am a AFOL that is AWOL from most Lego forums for long periods of time, so I feel your pain. I can't imagine how the daily comic guys keep pace. Also, yours is like getting a comic book in a guys hand, I grew up on comic books so it makes me feel like a kid again.

Glad I got a chance to catch up. Always top notch work! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Got the chance to catch up on the last few months of your work. Excellent as usual. The story line is staying at a nice pace. The new heroes are pretty cool also. Why do I have a feeling Dave's Mom is Vera, the lady cracking on Cloe to get the paper work finished up?
