That might be because they haven't charged you for the PaB part of the order yet - they usually ship a bit later. And the VIP points are only received after payment has been made.
-
Oh. That's clever. I'm not much for maths, anyway.
-
No, after thinking it over I realize that I get VIP points for the money I spend, not for the value of the LEGO I buy. It is different from other bonus systems, though. For example, I have a special card for when I buy groceries that registers all my purchases. Once a month I get a bonus check for 1% of the total sum that I bought for the previous month. When I take it to the store, it is accepted as money. This means 1% of the value of the amount on the bonus check is also transferred to next month's bonus check. Have I lost you yet? That was what I thought the VIP program would do as well - give me VIP points for my order and THEN subtract the saved amount. And AndyC, how do we use up all our VIP points? You always get new ones.

Well, I'm taking stuff in stages. First FBTB, then Eurobricks, and I guess Swebrick is my next place to waste spend time. On my way!

"You will earn 298 VIP points with this purchase" Nice. Then I'll just apply my 300 SEK VIP bonus from my last order. *Apply* "You will earn 238 VIP points with this purchase" S@H takes away VIP points when you use VIP points? Then it's not even the 5% that this was supposed to be! Also, they have increased the shipping cost and the most expensive rate is when you buy for 1000 SEK or more (used to be 1500). It seems to me that what little they loose on the VIP Program is gained on shipping.

Available now on LEGO S@H (at least from Sweden)!

*Slaps face* So easy on the flower! I figured I wanted it the other way around, and was thinking about small pieces with a thin part for the flower. Yes, those pieces are for Indy's tie and Kazim's face. Thanks for all your help! Will you show a WIP or just go WHAM in the entry thread with everything done?

Thanks again! I have ideas with trans-black tiles for water, and also tiling the ledges for a smoother look. I'm also thinking about ways of making the walls a bit more interesting, log and grill bricks etc. Should I close the back portion with a third wall? That would give more space for more skulls and give it a darker look, but would also crave better lighting for taking pics. A quite dark ref pic: Another one for top floor: Note that Indy has a dk red tie, Brody a blue one and Elsa's sand blue shoes! Oh, just noticed: should her dress be dk gray? I'd also like to exchange Kazim's red stud flower for a , but I don't know how to attatch it. The antenna says pretty secure in a jumper plate. Not properly connected, but it looks quite good. Rope is the obvious solution, but I dont really like strings and rubber bands in LEGO... And have you any idea how much a in dk red sets you back? Or how rare a simple is in dk orange? I am BL:s best customer right now.

We can have a topic of our own, can't we? I would have loved a heads-up when they gave out white Bobas... Also for those occasional times when something goes on sale at S@H Sweden! Please move, lock or delete if it's out of line! Anyway, the Leklust catalogue shows 8095 Grievous' Starfighter 399 SEK (was 699) 5649 Duplo Big Farm 449 SEK (699) 2824 and 7952 Advent calendars 179 SEK (229) 8075 Atlantis Neptunus thingy 449 SEK (699) 7946 King's Castle 699 SEK (1099) Offers valid until Nov 13. Leklust retaliers can be found in 17 Swedish cities.

Oh yes, go for the Death Star if it is within your budget! You will have many, many hours of fun building and lots more of playing! There are, what, thirteen rooms, a basement and an elevator. 25 figs! If your son has seen the OT, this will be THE set of your collection!

I didn't know Spartan architecture was so influenced by the Geonosians! Well played!

Yes, the arms... I have given this a lot of thought (about 35 seconds in all) and decided to go with what I thought looked good. But you are right, the CubeDude movement seems a bit adamant in how things should be. I guess I'll change them all. For a tassle, I'm actually considering a black Clone helmet antenna or what you call 'em. Any opinion on the water/rats thing? Thanks for the input, and good luck to you too! Oh, and thanks to KielDaMan as well. If I go for a cone fez, it will be dk red!

Hi all, I'd like some help. In case you haven't heard, there is a CubeDude Vignette Contest over at FBTB. In short the rules are build a 16x16 vig (no overhang) with 2-4 CubeDudes from a licensed theme (or Power Miners). Here are some pics of my work in progress, it shows the scene from The Last Crusade when Indiana Jones and Elsa Schneider go down in the catacombs beneath the library in Venice. Marcus Brody is waiting for them, but Kazim of the Order of the Cruciform Sword sneaks up on him to steal the Grail Diary. Overall pic. I notice now that the bricks and plates are not put together properly, but these are not the final pics, thankfully. Indy and Elsa downstairs. Do you think I should add water and/or rats? Both don't appear until later, but I have already made some changes... The skulls in the walls are made CubeDude style. "What's this one?" "The Ark of the Covenant." "Are you sure?" "Pretty sure." A bit cheesy effect, but I started in pearl gold and realized how much more trans-yellow I had. Needs proper lighting. Boys on top. I'm happy with the gold thingy Indy used for cracking the floor, all nice and chrome! C&C welcome, the deadline is this Sunday... More pics on Flickr Oh, one final thing. Should I keep Kazims square fez or should I give him a dk red cone instead? I have one on the way from BL, had to go with a black for now. I'm thinking of a way to attatch a tassle to either fez.

Wow, this will be very useful! Finding a review on EB can be quite a challenge if you don't know where to look Thanks for doing this!

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll get three more VIP points with my next order! Edit: make that 50 VIP points. My brain doesn't really work today.

Comparing collectible vs 'classic' minifigs

Anything more solid to back that up with? -
Terribly sorry for dragging out a really old thread, but that's why we have a search function, right? I saw that this clock has reappeared at S@H and I'd like to know a couple of things that I can't find anywhere: Is it ticking loudly? I can never sleep if a clock is making too much noise. This one looks a bit clunky and plastic, but that might be just the exterior. Also, what kind of sound is the alarm? Something real that rings or a sound chip bibibibibi? I once had an awful one that made waking up feel like getting a hit on the head. If it were Vader saying "I find your lack of getting up disturbing" I would have heard about it Any input would be nice!

Hey now, that's a nifty thing! I would so need the FBTB facepalm smiley right here: Thanks, and sorry

Another board thingy: When you look at the list of topics, beside the topi title is a line of numbers that are links to the pages of the topic. These numbers are always 1, 2, 3 and the (current) latest page. Now, I kind of like to follow a few threads, for example the SW 2011 news, which now says 1, 2, 3, 130. But I know I haven't read all of page 129 (or even 128!) and wonder if it is possible to change my personal settings or, if it is a good idea, change it all, to show in this case 1, 128, 129, 130. Of course the first page (well, first post anyway) is important, but the second and third not so much. Thanks for your time reading this...

Yes, please, let's go into that discussion again, it is so much fun! LEGO puts it on the UCS page on the website, but AFOLs don't consider it a UCS. On topic: I feel a bit sorry for Greg Hyland, who just wanted to tease FBTB and probabli didn't realize what would happen over here... He even wrote in his pic post "Unless you have one of those movie-computers where you say "Zoom in. Enhance" and it'll show you. Then I'm screwed."

Some dealers have stuff on their roofs, wouldn't a motorcycle look good on the corner part roof?

I might be a little late with my suggestion, but isn't the diesel tank a bit small? Two or three trucks and that container would need a refill You could use eight of these to make a significantly bigger one!
