  1. As a SW Minifig collector, I'm looking forward to the book and the new fig! Hear, hear!
  2. Great minds and all that... BTW after I put the pic up I learnt that montrals are the things on top of their heads, but the hanging ones are, as you say, head-tails.
  3. With those eyes, what isn't he looking at?
  4. Just got Shaak Ti and imagined Ahsoka being just an ordinary (whiny) teenage girl:
  5. I feel like placing my 10179 Falcon on my 4492 MINI Star Destroyer...
  6. Yay, cool, thanks! And Legonater, that is really good too!
  7. I made one:
  8. A Rancor set would need the keeper as well! Perhaps TLG could make the Rancor in this scale: With a molded head and various more "standard" parts for the body, obviously more bulked up than the Crystal King. I'm not saying that it would look good, but it is an option. It's not big enough, but at least it would be bigger than a body mold Wampa-style.
  9. I was sure I had posted this idea, but cannot find it, at least not in this thread. What LEGO cannot skip in the UCS is a R2-D2. 2-3000 pieces, a foot high, with lots of gadgets and details!
  10. Thanks, Lasse D, that clarifys and explains everything! "Even the best is not good enough" - wow, that is a standard to live up to!
  11. I said nothing about the head being different. I meant that the new version of Rex will get a separate listing from the old one on BL. If it is black ARF equipment, it is a significant difference from the older one, that has Dk Bluish Gray. But just the added antenna would be enough. Old Rex for reference:
  12. The Assassin Droid from 7930 is listed as an "Assault Droid", but I don't see any difference from the normal black Assassin one. Probably won't be a new post on BL. But I think Rex will be, since he has no antenna in the older version.
  13. No, I gave up. I'm waiting for a skilled Technic modder to post instructions. For now, the studless 10212 is in a toy shop window:
  14. It's a really tough call. I only own the older one, so I'm a bit biased. Bi-Wing Baron has a much better looking engine (with flames!) and nostalgia feel. Clumsy wheels and more blocky. Spirit has sleeker, rounded wings and better landing gear. Oversized propeller, and too bad the sticker pieces aren't printed. That would have tipped the scale in favour of the Spirit, I feel. As is, and before I've built the Spirit, I won't cast a vote - it's a tie!
  15. It might be the final production run for this christmas, but it is likely that it will be available at least until summer. I wonder when Bricklink will list the Luke figure, Han is already there!
  16. I eventually had to go for the Musketeer, but this series really has many great figs!
  17. 2006, hands down. It was the year of great re-releases and OT goodness! The V-wing 6205 was OK, but then there is 6206-6212 (TIE Interceptor, A-Wing, B-Wing, Slave 1, Sail Barge, ISD). Also two great UCS (AT-ST and Vader's TIE). No other year has that level of high quality sets IMO.
  18. Here is a pic of me in the window with my new Swebrick shirt... ยจ My two year old son is outside the window, wondering why "his" LEGO is in the store I added 10215 Obi-Wan's JSF and 10212 Imperial Shuttle as well.
  19. Isn't that what we all have hoped for a while? I don't think all those big CW sets are coming out. The South African list seem much, much more credible. I'm sorry, commanderneyo, but all these "facts" from Jordan just get more and more difficult to believe. If he/you can provide the illusive pictures, fine. But until then you'll have to accept that many of us don't buy it. Perhaps it's just my OT mind speaking, I wouldn't want all of the CW stuff.
  20. I've been fiddling with this for a month or so. More pics on my Flickr
  21. Exactly, it's this one: . Only twice has it been printed, once in the 80's and now in the Zurg. Hopefully it's printed in the Shuttle!
  22. Well, a person piloting an AT-AT is an AT-AT pilot, no matter what uniform he wears, right? (Awaits onslaught of flaming, screenshots and quotes from Wookiepedia)
  23. I think and hope we're in for more Endor sets in the coming years, just as we got a lot of Hoth sets recently: 7666 Hoth Rebel Base came out in 2007 and 8038 The Battle of Endor in 2009 (Not exactly the same size, but still quite big) 7749 Echo Base came out in 2009 and Ewok attack is coming out in 2011 (both five figs) 8129 AT-AT Walker, 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave, 8083 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack and 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack came out in 2010 - what will we see in 2012? Let's hope for a pair of Battle Packs (Stormies/Scouts/Imp Troopers vs Rebels/Ewoks), and a couple more sets with vehicles and trees! BTW, I'm sorry for posting about possible 2012 sets in the "a guy on Facebook has the summer sets"-thread
  24. Great review with beautiful pics! The set doesn't really do it for me, though. But hey, you get both Tory and Kari from Mythbusters! Perhaps Grant is wrapped up as the mummy?
  25. The red/white blur on Hyland's pic might be an Y-wing! That is some backup for the whole "Jordan" thing. A thought on that is no one else bothered that Jordan might cause his grandfather to loose his job? On the astromech ting in the V-wing, LEGO obviously listened to the complaints from the last one that only a droid head was included and so made a complete droid. Then we complain that it's not accurate!
