  1. My 2 year old son and I play every day with his Duplo, but that wasn't the question... When I build in my LEGO space and he is there as well, he plays with a few Kingdom sets I got him. It is mostly putting swords and shields in hands of minifigs so far. However, since I currently work with a big Kingdoms display, I don't build with him present for the moment. If he wants to, he is allowed to handle other LEGO as well, I know he wont eat it or something...
  2. Well now, doesn't that look shiny and nice? I'd like one please! I have over 200 posts, been here for two years and my manual check on SW post percentage said about 43%.
  3. On S@H as well, only in the States so far.
  4. I'd say the silver Astromech. Closest to OT!
  5. "The best is never too good" Thank you, that is much better! That says the same as the Danish phrase, and you have to admit that there is quite a difference from "Only the best is good enough".
  6. Fantastic downscaling of my favourite set from my childhood! Well played!
  7. Thanks for your input. What really bugs me is that the translation of the phrase is never (as I have seen it) described as a "loose" or "rough" translation, it looks as if "Only the best is good enough" is exactly what it means. To get the proper meaning through, you might say "The best is not too good for kids" or maybe "The best is not luxury". Any better ideas?
  8. I used to update my Peeron list whenever I bought something, but since it took about half a minute uploading one brick in a BL order, I stopped about two years ago. Then I had about 110 000 pieces, so I guess it's up to 140-150 000 now. Someday I'll make a proper inventory...
  9. Hi all. I'd like to ask this to someone more Danish than me. I know Danish quite well, having worked on a EU project with people from Bornholm, but this one doesn't work for me: The LEGO motto "Det bedste er ikke for godt" is usually translated into English as "Only the best is good enough". If I translate the Danish phrase directly into Swedish (Det bästa är inte för bra) it means "The best is not too good", which of course sounds a bit silly as "too" might be interpreted in two ways. Could someone please help me translate this, getting the "proper" meaning across?
  10. Yup. Tan printing on the blue body.
  11. I have kind of the same story - I placed an order on the 26th Oct, they shipped part of it on the 27th, for which I got double points, and part of it on 5th Nov, for which I didn't get double. I e-mailed a week ago, but nothing has happened yet.
  12. So, speaking minifigs, would you say this a complete list of new ones the first wave of 2011 sets: 7913: ARF Trooper, Clone Trooper Commando, Bomb Squad Trooper 7914: Mandalorian (no Mando without jetpack) 7915: Imperial pilot, R2-Q2 7929: Jar Jar Binks, Gungan Soldier, Droid Pilot 7930: Sugil, Embo, Aurra Sing (no new printing/sticker on Assassin Droid) 7931: Shaak Ti,Saesee Tiin (no Q Vos) Also we are quite sure about new figs in these, later or exclusive/LE sets: 7868: Astromech, Command Droid (probably same CW Mace Windu as before) 7869: Luminara Unduli (Rex is also the same i guess) With new figs I mean that they will get a separate post in BL:s list. There might be some variation on some figs, such as white pupils. I'm thinking about how much space I need in my complete collection (and how much cash )
  13. I'm a bit surprised LEGO put their logo on this thing... Sure, it might be a well working pen, and you can swap the Jango for 3PO on it, but it's not much of a LEGO product. So how does the pen work?
  14. Just finished building mine. Great set, pricey but great. A minor gripe is that on the official pics the ship looks tilted, and I was curious to see how that was built. It wasn't. The pic is photoshopped. The ship is vey horizontal. But it can spin round and round and round...
  15. To me, the four jetpacks are a drawback, since that means there will only be one fig from the BP in the BL list and in my collection, but I'll buy a set anyway.
  16. Clone BP for me - it has the most number of new figs in relation to its price. I only buy PT and CW sets to keep my minifig collection complete and most often sell the rest of the sets, if I don't like them.
  17. Just as the British Discovery show "Scrapheap Challenge" had to change to "Junkyard Megawars" when it went west.
  18. Yesterday another King's Castle, an Outpost Attack and a Prison Carriage Rescue for a diorama. Oh, a Spartan as well. Today my 10215 JSF arrived.
  19. Any sighting of these in Europe?
  20. Well, thanks all. I still think you should have voted for proper stuff, though. But if I'm offered a skull, I'll take it! Numero 2, por favor!
  21. Thank you both! I was more thinking of making a bigger footprint castle than a higher one, but that looks nice too! It is 700 SEK in some toy shops right now. Thats about 70 euros or 100 dollars.
  22. I'm glad you changed your mind. Votes should go to proper entries!
  23. I'm really tempted to buy a second one of these (before even opening the first!) since it has such a good price here at the moment - almost half off which makes it just a bit more expensive than the US MSRP. I have looked for pics of two 7946 combined, but not found any. Anyone else?
  24. Brilliant, you got my vote! It's especially funny as crabs don't have bone skeletons at all. "Darling it's better, down where it's wetter - under the sea"
  25. To me it's pretty clear that they are normal legs and arms. Would like to see them in single colours, though!
