  1. Crap. I figured it was at midnight. I'll upload my entries as MOCs anyway. Poo.
  2. If anyone doesn't want their "chocolate" Leia hair, I'd be happy to buy or trade for it! I have normal Leia hair to trade and other stuff. Please shoot me a PM!
  3. I have a theory: Portman doesn't approve to being made into a LEGO minifig. She might have seen the one released and said "no more of that". I guess Lucas owns the rights, but she might have something to say as well. A bit far fetched, I know, but a theory none the less...
  4. And how big is it? 30 x 30 cm?
  5. I wonder if they might be some reincarnation of these: Electric, Light Bulb Cover . They might light up when you put the third one in the mouth of the skull!
  6. In my Market Village, the reddish brown bricks have all kinds of colours. Well, they're reddish brown, but not the same reddish brown. I also noticed that some of the round 2 x 2 plates had the "+"-opening a little off center, as mentioned above, in the Troll Battle Wheel.
  7. The ship in the picture couldn't reach America, it would break on the waves. They used smaller ships to cross, the big ones were used for rowing or sailing along coasts. Also, the sails weren't striped, they were woven diagonally, forming a checkered pattern. The ceremonial horned helmets are from the bronze age. Perhaps some viking had one as well, but not in battle. Just imagine how impractical that would be - there is a great risk of getting hit on the horns, thus losing the helmet or breaking your neck... I hope there will be horns in other colours as well - a pair of tan ones on the Yeti will make it look more like a Wampa than the bananas!
  8. This cow is only in one set so far, and that's the medieval village. Here is today's piece of information from ye olde times: the cows were much smaller then than they are now. So the cows are in fact a bit too big... I guess they will show up in city farm sets as well, then they'll be too small!
  9. Just cut two grooves in the technic half pin and it will work brilliantly! You get extra half pins in just about every set...
  10. I have another way of using heat to remove the keychain: remove as much as posssible of the keychain part, so that only the little loop remains sticking out of the Emperor's (or whoever) head. Then put a piece (8-10 cm long) of thick metal wire through the loop and bend it, forming a bigger loop. Hold the ends of this with a pair of pliers and the minifig with your other hand and then hold the wire over a lit candle. The heat will go to the pin in the minifig, slowly softening the plastic. Keep tugging at the pliers, and the pin will pop out, leaving only the small hole in the head. Works better than brute force for weak peolple like me! Disclaimer: don't try this if you're clumsy!
  11. Perhaps the plastic tray inside your box is the wrong way? I know this happened in some City calendars last year. This will be great, I was thinking of saving the Castle calendar and selling it next year, as they on an auction site here in Sweden sold for more than twice the retail price this year... Luckily, I have another for easy money in a year or two.
  12. Interesting, I joined recently. Please count me in!
