Don't suppose anyone here is into Classic stuff? Piticularly Classic space? I've had a lot just come in that i'm not very fussed over. Not perfect condition, but there's a few rare parts in there by the looks, and may well be worth someones while. Probably around 5kg, Give or take a few kg If anyone's remotely intrested, let me know and I'll get some pics up and try get a weight for it. Cheers guys

Nooo Sorry.. I'm actully building the Christchurch (my City) Cathedral which got nailed in our latest Feb 2nd Earthquake.. But I'm building it back to it's original beauty!

Box of the original Harry potter sets, and a box of other random lego.. Got them for a nice price, looking forward to scrapping them for some parts

Hey guys, I've started work on a rather large project, and am wondering if anyone here might be able to help me. I'll list the parts that I need, and if you have a reasonable amount, flick me a PM or post in this topic or something.. Hopefully Someone might have a pile left over that they no longer need from a PAB Box or something, as I do need quite a few, but buying parts individually off bricklink is both a massive time consumption and expencive... I'm hoping I might be able to help in somewhat bulk supply ~1000-5000 Dark Bley bricks (Preferably 1xX Bricks, but 2xX's may well be handy also) ~100 1x1 Plates In each of Dark Bley and Tan ~100 1x2 Plates in each of Dark Bley and Tan ~50 1x4 Tan Arches ~200 A range of Tan 1xX Plates (from 1x1 to 1x8) ~50 1x2 Dark Red Bricks ~100 1x2 Trans-Clear Plates (You don't necessarily need to have that many to be of service.. I will be open to looking at amounts upwards of 250 depending on location) If you think you might be able to be of help, please let me know. I'm able to Pay Cash (Paypal, or Bank transfer if you're local) Or possibly trade. Let me know what you'd want.. Cheers Guys

When did your collection reach critical mass?
Legoman replied to Arigomi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, I partially think you can never reach a complete 'critical mass' Because even when you start building something with your vast amount of lego, you'll always ned more of something.. But that said, There is a point at which you can start seriously building and just buy the small extra's you need along the way. This depends on the scale of your MOCs, but I beleive I'm just starting to hit that point now at around 75,000 parts, but I'm always needing more - I guess I'm just not quite as retricted by my lack of parts.. Which is nice *Goes off to place a bricklink order* Good question though -
You like lego? Gee thats a bit weird.. Welcome to EB Yeah, don't worry, there's certainly a few of us Battle of Geonosis is a K-mart exclusive, they're the only place you'll find it. It's a bit steep at $89, but it is an exclusive I guess
-
Really? It's still $89.99 at my local Toyworld.. $48 would be quite good if I liked the set in some way.. It's a shame I really just don't No sorry.. I just looked on the site and there's not any good sales to take advantage of. I'm considering doing a PAB order for a load of Grey bricks for my latest project which I really need parts for, but it all adds up much too fast Speacking of which, I don't suppose anybody here has any Dark blueish Grey bricks they don't need? Buying individual parts costs an arm and a leg it seems

Hey guys, Does anyone have any X-pod containers they don't want? Most people find them useless so I'm hoping someone might have some.. Piticularly looking for Purple and LtGreen, but let me know what you've got. Flick me a PM if you've got any. Cheers

I'm loving how hopeful you guys all are! What are the chances, In all seriousness, of someone giving away thousands of dollars worth of Lego, and deciding to do it on the one day of the year that happens to be April 1. I really think you guys shouldn't be too exited yet That said, In the off chance this is real, I guess I might as well put my name down..

Guys, K-mart has got 50% off all Lego, and 75% off clearances this week! That makes BP's $3, Midi SD's $5, and Wampa Caves $12.50 Plus Battle of Naboo is $25 and so on Check it out!
-
Just been to K-mart Riccarton. Can confirm those prices. Plus the ARC-170 was about $70 and the Palpitines shuttle was $90. Not too shabby. Unfortunately they were out of Imperial BP's, But I picked up a few Rebels, A few Star Destroyers and a Couple of Wampa caves Still some of each there for our fellow CHCH Members But you might want to hurry Considering going back for a couple of ARC's and more Wampa's. You can never have enough Snowspeeders I know it's a long shot, but I'm actully hoping the Wampa caves go down even further. At $30 I'd buy them out quite happily

The clearances are at K-mart, not the Warehouse
-
Wow Will have to snab quite a few battlepacks at that price.. Plus a few Midi SD's for parts
-
Hey guys, I've just gone though some of my stock and I've got some stuff that I can't be bothered with, so I'm putting it up to Sell/trade. Let me know if you're intrested in anything 2x MISB 8028 Star Wars Mini Tie Fighter 1x MISB 30005 Star Wars Imperial Speeder bike 4x MISB 8401 City Minifigure pack 2x MISB 7930 City Front-end Loader

There are often quite big debates on this topic. Some people do say the Sandcrawler and Minifig Death Star etc are UCS, but I personally wouldn't give them the title. The Brickset list can be seen here, but even that is debateable. I'm still yet to be convinced on both the Death star and Greivous, but the rest are fairly agreed on. Although some say sets such as the AT-ST aren't UCS, just because UCS isn't in the name, 99% of people would still agree it's a UCS -Legoman

It's somewhat common knowledge, but they're not the only ones. K-mart also does the same thing, When they want to clear stock, they put it insanely cheap. All about having constant turn-over - When they want/get in fresh stock, they clear the older stuff Generally, It's not just for a day or two, it's until they're gone. Quite a common practice for department stores, I've seen various sets on clearance at Farmers too. I guess the reason they don't get overly mentioned is because they sell out so fast, it's really just being at the right place at the right time. Definately some real steals to be had sometimes though Saw the SPIII set cheap at my local warehouse but K-mart already had it cheaper still, and it's not really a set I like, Not even the parts are good IMO. Well done on the Tie, $29 is a steal on one of those, I paid $45 for mine, and even that was good considering it's a $110 Star Wars set

They really are a bargian.. I'm persoanlly thinking of another few Naboo sets. Have absolutely no regret of the last 4. Any other good buys? I'm in a mood for buying some lego Heck if only they had the 10212 Shuttle at 30% off.. I'd snap that up very fast!

This is great, I had fun planning and building my entry. Cheers guys

Thought I'd join the fun Boba: Rawr!!! Dengar: You know Boba, If you only had a white suit, I might not have noticed...

Don't beleive this has been seen yet? Never seen it before, so got it this afternoon. Plan to resell or trade it though, since I only bought it to show you guys, as I don't like CW personally (Perhaps someone here is intrested?) Not sure where it'll be released, but hopefully it's as new to you guys as it is to me (I don't quite manage to keep up with this topic anymore). -Legoman

You mean if we had to choose any one set keep? That's hard. The UCS Y-wing is still my Favorite I think, but the UCS Snowspeeder, UCS Falcon, and original 4483 AT-AT are all also very close behind. If we could add any one set to our current collection? Definately 10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle. That's one I'm most looking forward to
