No sorry.. Well, They didn't have any in stock anyway. If you can still find them at a kmart, I'm sure they'll be cheap as chips Are you looking for a Midi ISD specifically, or were you thinking it's just a good price for parts? If you're really wanting one and can't find one, Flick me a PM, I've still go a few left MISB I'm not sure If I should scrap for parts yet, I'm sure I can help you out On that note, Does anyones still have any POP at their local Kmart? I highly doubt it, But you never know ;)

Some sales happening this weekend.. Farmers have 25% off (And they noticably had the Winter Village and Queen Annes revenge which can be hard to find They actually had quite a good range for a nice change) Toyworld is having at least 20% off all Lego - Which is very good for the fresh stock of the new Exclusives - UCS Imperial Shuttle, Tower Bridge, Winter exclusive sets, UCS Jedi Starfighter... Kmart didnt have any sales, But they had a UFO game (I'd never seen it until I saw it there ) On Clearance for $12, along with the same old other clearances Legoman

Sheesh, You've got a decent amount and selection to trade there! It's a shame they're all MISB - Id be intrested in some of these for parts, but Their MISB value is too high, it wouldn't be worth it . You could fetch some nice pries for some of this stuff! Good luck with the sales and trades

Recently picked/picking up in the last/next few days: 10 cups of PaB 10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle ~14,000 bricks off bricklink Sith Infiltrator Anikin & Sebulas Podracers Plus another bricklink order of some more parts, Including some PF stuff arrived yesterday, which I don't beleive I posted when I first ordered it

Alrighty, Thanks for that guys. Has anyone done this before, and is there anything I should know? Any piticular way to do/not do it?

So it's still technically illegal? Intresting. I realize that the stickers themselves are copyrighted but I would have thought that once you've paid for the set, you then have the right to copy it for your own use? Hmm. Thanks for that

I spent a while looking for a thread along these lines, but couldn't find one. So the last few days I've had some free time, with which I've been sorting/re-arranging/cleaning my Lego, to find that some of the stickers are just getting worse and worse as the years go on (My 7191 X-wing display plaque sticker is literally falling apart ), and it's been getting me thinking. Would it be legal to make a copy of the stickers when I first buy a set, and simply apply the copy, Keeping the originals mint? I'm thinking it should be fine, as long as I'm not selling the copies and they were solely for my own use. Can anyone confirm this? My next question then is, For those of you that may already do this or that make custom stickers, Is there any piticluar sticker that is quite close to the sticker type Lego uses? (I'm aware they use different stickers for different things, but any info would be helpful) I just simply cannot stand paying over $300 just to make my 7191 look nice again with fresh stickers I'd much rather legally make a copy.. This is mainly an issue for my Star Wars sets, But I'm sure it applies to most themes with stickers Thoughts and opinions, Anyone? Cheers -Legoman

For those of you in CHCH, The Warehouse at South City is having a re-opening sale including 30% off toys until Sunday. I went down there today, and was a bit dissapointed at the selection, but I spose it is the Warehouse Theres some good stuff there; If it's what your looking for. They did have Collectable Minifigures down to $3.50 which is nice for those of you collecting them - they had a couple of boxes

Buying LEGO from other countries on-line stores
Legoman replied to Siegfried's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I finally found out that the reason B&N wern't accepting my orders was due to my Debit plus card - Now paying thourgh paypal all is well. This is dangerous.. If only we could still get 30% off -
Indeed, But they're all yet to get close to reserve by the looks of it. Luckily there's nothing of intrest to me It was great to meet some more fellow fans yesterday, and skyping Brickthing was awesome too. Looking forward to December Any other sales to report? I noticed at K-mart that they've put last years Battlepacks on Clearance for $12, and the Geonosis Superpack on Clearance at $99, From memory

My goodness, You've officially gone mad! ..I hope you enjoy it I must say, I'm glad those older sets don't really appeal to me, It could be quite (even more ) costly Are people here planning to come along to the Christchurch Meeting tomorrow? I know Epic_Red and I are planning to head along, It'd be great to put some more faces to names

Flick me a PM when you're opening this back up, I might be intrsted in some stuff Cheers Mate

Trademe would be your best bet, But as others have noticed, The Lego market has been a tad slow on there lately. I'd go through what you've got and advertise it here for a week. That way if people here are keen you know it's going to good homes and there won't be those horrible Trademe Fees. If people here aren't intrested, Put them on Trademe. Unless they're sets that are piticularly sought after internationally - those ones could go on BL. Thats my opinion, But do whatever you feel like really, You can't really get it too wrong

This is a really great topic, thanks for dragging it out - I simply don't have the time to browse other topics like I used to. I think 10215 was an intresting move to be honest, and I can't say I beleived it failed. While it's commonly accepted that the set hasn't sold very well, I don't think it was a failure. Overpriced, Yes. But I'm a proud owner of this set and it is actually rather nice. I think Lego was testing the waters with this, and it proved an intresting point. The people they were aiming this set at don't actually care about the quality of sets any more. It's all about the figures. There was a time, around 2006-2007 when Lego were getting sets perfect, Chargeing a reasonable amount, and having reasonable figures. But now The sets are quite average (May be my byass anti-CW stance, but still) and are rich in overly detailed useless Figures. I'd buy 10215 over that any day. But To be honest, I would have rather had a UCS A-wing, or even better, Tie. Although there are some sets that will make great UCS', They need to wait there turn. Once we have a UCS A-wing, B-wing, and TIE fighter, AT-AT and a few more, then mabye they could try an RGS. But until then, I beleive OT fans should get the first pick, Becuase they are the ones who will buy the set because it's actually well designed. The new 10221 annoys me, to be honest. I'd much rather have had it $50 less without the figs and bridge which means nothing to me. 10212 Was the best UCS set since the Y-wing In my opinion. And I hope they continue to go with that sort of design in the future. I didn't mind the figs in the set because it was to scale and it didn't really ruin the set for me. However, If they make a UCS A-wing with White instead of grey, I may just Die

Really? That Shuttle eh.. If only it would go 30% off.. Then I'd definately pick one up I went to the Warehouse - man, that atlantis stuff isn't too badly priced. Anyone know if you're doing 50% off clearances any time soon? That would simply be amazing. Anyone here have any inside info on such things? On that note, I'm actually somewhat surprised that Cars haven't gone cheap yet, I swear I haven't seen a Cars set sell since the movie was released. POTC seems to still be selling.. Wich is a shame, Because they would be brilliantsets to be getting cheap - Same with HArry Potter

Cheers guys! Unfortunately it's getting to the stage where my parents think they should be setting me up with more important things than more Lego, so I got a Camera (Plus lollies and Icecream and such.. Honestly, who doesn't like icecream? ) Which was still great. And there's a bit of money from grandparents and such which we all know will end up being spent mostly on Lego It's actually just about 11PM here, so I'm about to head off to bed (Yay for being ahead of the rest of the world in Kiwi-land!) but it's been a fantastic day. Just finished it off by watching Gladiator with my family, which I don't think can ever go wrong.. So yeah, Great day. Thanks for the birthday wishes

Theres some on Ebay for $200US plus postage, But they don't seem happy to post Internationally. But there is one availible at $220 plus $80 postage to Aussie, if thats low enough. I'm personally looking for one too, But it seems a very hard set to get at a good price..

7985 City of atlantis, Half price
-
Picked up a 7685 city of Atlantis set today for $65 - Just for parts. Just about hits the 10c a part mark. Just opened it up now - Not bad, I may head back down tomorrow Hoping to sell off bags 1&2 to get some money back too (Give me a yell if your intrested), There's a couple of fairly rare figs in there Had a look at the big portal, But It just doesn't seem quite worth it. The parts don't really intrest me enough. I'd consider it at $75, mind you... Guess we'll see if they sell or not. They also had the Midi Star Destroyer down to $50, But thats still 250% the Kmart price Anyone else had any finds recently?
-
Sheesh, Just having a browse and saw this topic. Man.. Can't beleive I posted that total garbage Sorry for that (even if it was ages ago ) And well done to those with a bit more brainpower that noticed the illogical scenario
-
Just picked up a 10211 Grand Emporium - First time I've bought of eBay in a good 6 months now (Yes, Thats a Long time for me )
-
Don't suppose you noticed any of the larger atlantis sets cheap? Wouldn't mind a couple of the larger ones if they were cheap P.S. If anyone's up for a bit of a gamble, This could potentially be a real steal.. but I can't decide, So I'm thinking I'll leave it. Considering I just bought a GE off eBay, I should probably shouldn't. EDIT: Looks like someone bit the bullet and took the risk. Good luck to them.

I would be super keen for this. The only problem is how it would actually work out. I can't imagine them being popular enough to be sold on a standard retail level, which would make it an exclusive, Pritty much making no-one better off than we were before anyway. Oh well, It would still be a nice thing to see
