UCS JSF Is certainly very tempting. I was going to mention it but thought that K-mart will probably get it in Mid-year and have it for $80 on clearance by next christmas So I think I'll leave that one too at this stage

I think the front is currently sized about right. I know you've probably got used to looking at the lego one so you get that image in your head. However, this pic shows the actual thing So I don't think it's too far off. If anything, The back needs to be wider and a tad longer. But if I do have a go at 112 droids, the front will need a bit of a redesign too Haven't tried using this rack in an MTT yet, but now that you mention it, I look at that at a later date.

8.. That might actully work - 28 studs long. I'll have a look at it when I get home from my holiday, As I leave in the morning, and will be away for 10 days

Thanks The main problem there is that 112 droids take up a lot of room. They are on 4 racks, correct? That would be 28 each rack. That would make just the rack over 56 studs long Which would mean the whole thing would need total re-modeling rather than MODing. Could be fun to try though Whats this other MOC you speak of? I'm not aware I'm doing any other projects? Cheers

Oh right, I get you now Good stuff! I've just finished a new MOD on my carrier for the Droid release and making the Droid Rack a bit more accurate

You tried to fit a Droid carrier Inside an MTT Wow, that would have been.. Intresting I'll see what I can come up with as far as deployment goes

Thats good news! I never actully got the magnet packs, since they're not actually availible to me anyway. But it's good news for everyone else who does buy them. And if they are proper quality now, I may well look into buying some if they bring out some of the lovely new figs as magnets (Shaak Ti, Aurra Sing ) Thanks for the news The funny thing is that Lego probably specificly designed the glue to come off so they won't lose as much of a market (Fair enough too really )

What exactly is 'movie accurate'? I don't recall seeing these actully deploy droids... Is it the same as the MTT? If so, I may give that a go on mine too

Well, it probably is a bit of a mistake, But Not too huge. Nohing like the Death Star being $400 More Like the Cafe Corner being $160. A bargain but not an insane deal as such. Still nice to have it at a good price though. My guess would probably be that it's supposed to be $200 too, so it's like 30% off. Not bad, if it's a set your actually wanting

Intresting. I did see it at $140 but didn't notice it being too greater deal, since it is only 990 parts. I'll probably leave it sorry, but best of luck! I would probably have at least 112 B1's, it's just the fact that I'd have to be designing a complete new Ship, and it would be very big. This is supposed to be a MOD to make it better, not a MOC to make it perfect Thanks for the comments though

Thought I'd share a few shots that I've taken, including some variants of my Contest entry - In that one, The idea was that a rebel was going in to buy a christmas tree, but it was a trap (Was going to make a sticker or use photoshop so it would say 'Christmas trees' on top of the Cave. - That was one I was wondering about for the compitition. I'm still very happy with the Picture, but Desided against it's use in the Compitition itself. I bought this set today, seeing as it had 30% off. I quite like it, and think it's a decent set. Over here in NZ it's the same price as the Naboo set, and there's not even any point in comparing the sets. But dispite that, I still like it. The figs are nice, and it's a very sleek design and picks up on a few things the last one missed. Probably a bit over-priced, yes, but most sets seem to be these days Nice set if you can get it on sale. Or if money has no meaning to you

I managed to pick this set up today at a real steal of a price, so picked up 4 (I'm unlikely to see this set any cheaper than I did today) It's truely an incredible set. Lot's of room for easy Modifications to make it bigger/better too Best set in quite a while, I must say. The new gungans are too.

EDIT: Re-MODed. Original Folder is gone, the MOD is completely 're-vamped' Heya guys. Today I went out and got 4 Of the New battle of Naboo sets (they were a very good price ) I've built the set, and absolutely love it. But it's quite obvious that lego intended this set to be MODed. I mean, The set is a brilliant set, But was anyone seriously going to leave all those blasters the way they are? I sure wasn't. They just wanted to keep the carrier awesome while not including 16 droids, And I know I'm quite happy with the 8 I got... Per set. Thats why we buy multiples of such amazing sets! I just got home fromquite a nice trip 4 Battle of Naboo's, A V-wing, and an ARC-170 (Down to $84 because there was 1 part missing ) Now for a relaxing day of building

Thanks The problem is, I acully like the earthquakes. The damage sucks, But If nothing bad happened during them, they are seriously a lot of fun But I know a lot of people don't feel the same way Hopefully I'll manage to get out to farmers today... And hopefully they'll have the new sets out
