I would like to think that Helga is capable of being reasonable, once in a blue moon.

I know, it's so stupid! You went to the whole effort of appearing townie by letting us know, but you just put the spotlight on yourself. Bad play, scumbo!

As much as I want to see voting, Chlodochar's seems like a weak, bandwagon-y one. Noted. BECAUSE THIS, THAT WAS SPECIFICALLY ADDRESSED TO YOU: If we vote now, we can see reactions, see how people behave, and change course if we need to. If we wait until a consensus is reached, the day will be over, and it will be too late. Better to throw votes out early, and then refine them in the second half of the voting period. In the case where we're in a game where the game ends when majority is reached, it's a bad idea to do this, but in this game, we can change as much as we like, so people should not be shy with their votes. *game ends > day ends
-
So you think you were left off the list to keep suspicion off of you? Thanks for letting us know that we should pay attention to you, and that you have nothing much to add otherwise, including votes. I find it quaint that in near a dozen posts since I implored people to vote, and now there is one less vote! Remember, it's hard to counter-argue when there is no first argument to counter
-
Regardless, not voting early is a very bad thing. We have forty hours to change things up. If we all wait until the last minute, it's pretty much guaranteed that day one will end up bagging a townie. <The logic being that by the time we finally reach a majority, it will be too late to turn things around should the lynchee reveal a convincing claim/counter-argument, whereas we can change course numerous times if we get to voting early.> I implore the town to start voting. Lots of talking, but only four votes. Mischievous Servants of Loki, just stay quiet, and we can pick you off one at a time

I'm not insulting anyone. I used the word "like," not "as." You are in no way a duncey farmhand. Merely resembling one That is a concern. Now, I'm not a person who spends much time in the Americas, but isn't this a time when they have plentiful free time to use in Valhalla? Or would they be more bogged down than usual on a weekend?
-
As opposed to those who... Filler. Sometimes, I like to lay it on thick. Depends on my mood. Sometimes the Valhallaest of Valhallans doesn't appear. Luckily, I have the time today to regale everyone with my delightfulness. Like the time I went to France and single-handedly laid waste to half the fields in Champagne. That taught them a lesson about settling in the north with foofy aplomb. As you say, and I well know, you pretty much always suspect me day one. I'd say your record for day one voting for me is around 90%. It's pain, but I've gotten used to it, and I don't consider it your scum tell, just kind of like a duncey farm hand who bumps into the same door frame day after day, despite knowing entirely it's there, repeatedly doing the same thing despite the intense softness that develops in the noggin in the region being battered. I can't hold you responsible for that. For what's being said, I'm on the fence about a few. My question to Naemr was based on suspicion on where he was leading with his questions... Undecided. He may have been trying to waste our time, thinking on day one that the way people act would relate to the last game, but he may have just spoke poorly. Yeah, that's usually a sign. I don't like this. There was little sense in what Naemer spoke, and then you backtrack that, and go with the group. Nothing much said here at all. Fluff. This is the wrongest thing said all day. Unvoting is allowed. The day doesn't end with a majority vote. Voting early is very very important, especially so that we can turn things around if a mistake has been made. This waffly advice is very harmful to the town. Scum often like to seem like they are being safe to help the town, even though their advice is actually hurting the town. J'accuse Mist! (something I learned in my time in Champagne. Vote: Mist (Mencot) He's a funny one. He generally doesn't say much, and often many times has slipped through to the end without being voted out or killed. Half the time he's town, half the time scum, but just slips through with a no-play strategy. I'm not sure if it still holds true, but previously, he held the record for the most survivals. Baffling! He's much like Baulf, but Baulf always gets voted out and Wilhelm rarely does. Strange how that works!

What makes you think that? It would totally depend on who they are. Can you explain that a little more clearly?

There seems to be a lot of hubble nubble and slap dash in this afterlife, but not anything to obviously lynch. Though I have made a note of Kolgrima's seeming discomfort with such a mighty Vahallian as myself proudly revelling in my status. Valhalla is not a place for the meek and shy. As I munch on a hambone and swallow my grog, perhaps I will find time to regale us with a rousting tale or two of my exploits, pillaging my way across Europe. Ah, the towns I burned in Odin's name, bellowing laughter as I trotted away with their possessions, my belly swollen with wine. I so miss pillaging. It was great fun! By the wizened hair of Odin's beard, I strongly agree with that this will be very grating. I don't think it's a deliberate attempt to distract though, anymore than a sausage-fetish is. It's just unrestrained role-playing. Methinks we are viking enough without going to the effort of next-level roleplaying.

Let it be known, that after a long vacation, the towniest of towns (Valhallaests of Valhallans?) has returned. Shall we get at the business of ridding the afterlife of those scummy scoundrels that would serve the God of Mischief? Scum, we will be taking you out one after another. But, if you like, you can simply poop in your shorts now, and we can call the game over.

Ragnarök Now Redux - Confirmation & Discussion

Dufa the Godless here, ready to preach the non-faith. -
I am very busy in the month of November. December has a lot more free time. I could be a somewhat lazy day one player. Want to make it 23?
-
It would have to be Tammo. I would have been quite happy to do a random draw for blocks, since I had zero guesses for who had PRs. For kills, my main interest was in drawing suspicion. Since the lynch on whoever we killed night one led to a lynch on Tony, that worked well enough. But I had no idea who had roles, and didn't hazard a guess. That was Tammo's game.

Good job town! I was Robert, and I wish I'd played a little harder from the start, but between the squabbles between townies in thread the first few days, and a busy real life, I was absentee. I kind of hated being called out for being absent day three... Saturday I worked all day, then went to a staff drinking party, and spent Sunday nursing a hangover, not playing mafia. Monday, I swung in, and was being called out for being lazy, trying to do something all of a sudden... Yup. Technically, I was Congratulations to the winners Who would I send PMs to? I couldn't remember anyone's name a day later. I know nobody to send to. I had nothing to give except no information. Not a single person PM'd me. It's easy to say you're supposed to try and infiltrate town, but more often than not, you just get called out for fishing. Anyway, point taken.

Woohoo! Thanks MostlyTechnic, you came in late, and totally held your ground. Fantastic job, and thanks to Nemo, Cecilie, and Purpear, it was great working with you. Respect to the town and Murdock for rallying yourself in the second half. Unfortunately, the overall apathy of the first half of the game seems to have been too much of a mountain to climb. Thanks for a good time Tammo! -
As Brickington mentioned, I'm in Japan. I like it. I'm a white Canadian, but I'm married with a child here, so I think I'll probably die here. Love Indonesia. I went a while back, to Jakarta and Jogjakarta. There are many places I've never been that I'll probably go to before I go back to Indonesia, but I really want to go back there some time. Ayam goring!

Dad's not the only one, but he's the one who's been the most aggressive for it, even while saying he wasn't sure about it. And he really isn't interested in discussing it, there are just lots of statements from him which are written in stone, it seems. That all says to me he took advantage of the Patricia kill to get another townie lynched. Add to that his very atypical behavior with me right from the start, and it adds up to scum. Why is it that he has doggedly accused me of being scum every lifetime, from the start, but the one time I am supposedly scum, he has no suspicions from the start? Looks like he was trying to tiptoe around me to avoid my eye. You strongly wanted to vote for me as well, but I don't doubt your role-claim. Katrina is making a much softer claim, based on her lending her ear to Patricia and Bernard I assume. The rest voting for me are more likely the scum, possibly trying to save Priscilla. Anyway, you can try to make sense of it how you will on night 5. Actually, I don't blame you for voting me out, after the way the night started. That was certainly a mistake. I don't think I am mistaken about Bernard though. Don't accept "oops!" as an excuse. -

Good job with that one. Yes, scum like to clump in easily trackable clusters Sorry, if I had a scum board to consult, I would have known that. I missed that point. So the little town PM group have a scum in their midst. Hopefully Kristina was conservative with sharing the protector's name. Investigator, keep your name to yourself. When my towniness is revealed tomorrow, the town will have a clear lynch, and if there is confusion about where to go day 6, that would be when to reveal. Reread what I've written today. I am vanilla, so all I can do is tell things from my perspective, but hopefully it will help out in future days. Malones all the way! -

You ask a question, you ask many questions, and I answer them. Your response? Still waiting for it. Usually town (and even scum, I guess) give their interpretations of the answers. In your case I get the feeling that they weren't even questions, just accusations wrapped in a question mark. I'm a little pissed to be taken out this way, but it will be satisfying watching the entire town rip you to shreds tomorrow, tempering my feelings. I think town will be able to turn it around after this.
