If I wanted no lynch, wouldn't it be way better to just leave things as they were, with people splitting the votes all over the place? I know you don't trust me, but saying I wanted a no-lynch makes no sense to me whatsoever. I don't think there would have been a lynch at all without me, or at least without someone stepping in and doing what I did. My big concern was going into day two with no information at all, as, as you say, a no lynch helps the Servants.

Sorry, I only have 20 minutes before work, so this is going to be very self-centred. My vote for Sisco is based on the rapid swing from him to Petr, not on him being inactive. But it's noted that you want to portray it differently and mislead people about me You know that old saying about saying nothing and having people think you're a total dummy instead of speaking and proving it? Applies to you here. It's a game, and whininess like this sucks the fun out of it. That doesn't make sense. I could have tried to Einherjar lynched, but why would I try for no lynch at all? It's not a reason to lynch him today. i don't think Sigrid is making the scum tremble in their boots. Yup, if he's town, I'm scum, if he's scum, I'm scum. From your point of view, we really can't learn anything from his lynch, can we The writing is on the wall for Wilheim, so lets hear some other theories.

Does anyone see an elephant in the room?

I have no clue what you're talking about. Let's recap what happened: Day one - much of the town is not saying much, and either not voting or throwing votes away at someone nobody else is going to vote for. I urge people to focus votes on the top three vote-getters. Are you accusing me of making sure the people under the most pressure got more pressure? What was wrong with that? Did you have a better course of action? Are you offering one today? Day two - I have concerns about the vote, and Mursi and Sigrid's place in it. I propose some conclusions we could make from either lynch. It's not a voting plan, unless people agree. But it was one idea. One of the reasons to bring things up is to get people's opinions on things. So far, it seems that everybody except Snotra and Mursi couldn't care less. It's turning me off being active when fourteen other players can't be bothered to have an opinion. What do you think about Sigrid and Mursi? You are the famous Helga. Since when do you not weigh in on every little thing? The only person that seems to be putting in heavy analysis is Wary. Lefsi, I don't know. I have come to realise that he doesn't know what he's doing. Doesn't make him town, but puts him in that limbo zone of "really hard to make a call about," that often plagues these situations. I really don't know, but I'd be willing to put a vote there, depending on. Don't care about comic sans. Maybe someone else can solve that for you. Four hours into the voting, and the thread has died Vote: Sigrid (Sisco)

I'm starting to worry Wilheim has a case of the restating syndrome, where he just lets us know what we know, rather than come to any conclusions. For the vote today, I am leaning back to Sigrid. I've talked a little with Mursi, and while I'm not feeling 100% safe about him, I do think there were some legitimate misunderstandings in our communications. The scenarios I have are these: 1) lynch Sigrid- she's scum. Mursi might be scum trying to save her, but any of the rest of Petr's voters could have been instead. 2) lynch Sigrid- she's town. Mursi is probably town, since, as scum, he'd have no reason to get like that with Petr. 3) lynch Mursi- he's scum. Sigrid is most definitely scum. 4) lynch Mursi- he's town. Sigrid could still well be scum (see 1) Sigrid is the better choice, statistically. Add to that the fact that Sigrid has been incredibly quiet. Sounds like someone willing to sit back and let others fight while she gets ignored in the kerfluffel. Before we start accusing people of saving scum, we need to catch scum first. We'll have the votes to lead us back after for the rest.

I thought Sigrid had unusually sheepish votes. Jumping on and off the Mist vote in an unconvincing way. It might be stupid, but it can also be scummy. In the end, she wasn't an easy lynch. That's plausible, but then why was it so easy for Petr to overtake Sigrid in such a relatively short amount of time? It's not damning, but at a certain point, votes for Sigrid stopped, and they all became about Petr, which is, in my opinion, more suspicious than the votes Sigrid got.

I didn't feel so surely about his innocence, just not so sure about his guilt. But I do feel strongly that day one lynches are important. And was willing to switch my vote to make it happen if it made a difference. Right? got it? True enough, it seems. That's megablocks. You "thought" Petr was being saved by scum. I've said it today, and asked you about it, and you refuse to respond. Total megablocks. Super megablocks. You're the one that brought that up. I never brought it up. Quite often, people playing these games make contact and then don't when there's nothing to say. I didn't think anything of it. Your last message came yesterday! I wanted to know why you'd ask me about Petr and ignore the answer 100%. And you turned it around to "You stopped talking to me!" That's one of the worst arguments I've ever heard in a mafia game. If you think you can reframe the argument using total megablocks, you're arguing with the wrong player. Thanks! Town, Naemr has set a solid plan of action for us today: Find scum fast!

I'm totally baffled why this is so confusing. Keeping in mind that pictures are meant for entertainment, Petr killed Tumi. He admitted suspicion of him in public and private. It was his last action as a townie. As for the three night killers, it's a little confusing, but not out of the ordinary at all.
-
What are you talking about? We messaged back and forth a couple times, and you didn't ask me any questions that last time and I didn't have any questions until we say how the day turned out, if at all. But I didn't tell you not to PM me or anything. Was there a time limit I needed to contact you in to be considered "still talking"? It's been what, less than 48 hours? That's a bizarre claim, something I think you would know better than to do. Well, that's the thing. You asked me, and I said he was very much wanting to do crazy stuff when I worked with him. So by didn't account, you mean to say, willingly ignored the fact. And you're ignoring the question of why you assumed Sigrid was being voted for to save Petr, but ignored the fact that a bunch of votes piled in to lynch Petr. Be straight, you can just tell us you're scum, it'll make it easier *say how > saw how For the record, this was what I told Mursi about Petr. Mursi wants to say, "With the information available..." but that's not 100% the case. Like, the vote on Mist was pulled back on because we knew what was common for his character, and I think Mursi, an experienced player, could have done the same here.

That was a terrible night! I have to think Mist got it from the vig, since he was third on the chopping block. It's plausible that a SK is lurking around. Two vigs would seem to cause a balance problem. All the same, the other two night victims were reading as suss to me, so maybe I need to think about things more. So, I have a worry about Mursi, and I want your input on this. In the later part of the day, we bounced some ideas off of each other, and he asked me what I thought of Petr. From a deep and crazy experience I had with him, I knew he had an interest in out there behavior. So I told Mursi, and he just brushed it off, saying it wasn't plausible (that's not the exact phrase, let me quote him). So, he asked my opinion, got an answer that wasn't the narrative he was building, and pushed on with his lynch plan. Now, he did use the word "honestly," so I suppose he couldn't be lying, but it seems like he wanted to take over the vote. Case in point: a bunch of people vote for Sigrid, and he makes it out to be a scum rush to save him, since he's so sure Sigrid is town (because...?). When even more people rush in to vote for Petr, did any bells go off that that might have been the scum vote to save Sigrid? If it did, I missed it. If it didn't, I think that might have been deliberate.

Do you know what towniest of towns even means? If so, please tell me, because last I checked it was simply a nonsense phrase that was my own personal trademark going back to numerous games dating years back. But if you think I'm amazing because of it, I'll accept that too. In the meantime, if you do something for town other than looking totally scummy, I'll be sure to tell people how amazing you are. -

It has nothing to do with trust. It has to do with feeling people out, seeing how they react. I'm not going around blabbing vital information to anyone. That's not important. I can officially say it's not everyone. Only that quote from Petr that leads me to think he was town. The rest won't mean a lot until scum turns up. -

I've been feeling people out. One downside of being the towniest of towns is that you have to put the work in. Seriously though, after six months of lacklustre play, I'm trying to play the way I used to, and that includes a little behind the scenes work. Besides, who but the laziest among us haven't PM'ed someone yet? -

That was a rather loud end to the day. I don't know exactly what to make of it, but I think signs are pointing to Petr being rampaging town. He sent me this message, before the end of the day, asking about Tumi: That was 2-3 hours before days end, so he wasn't definitely dying, but probably planning on what to do if he were lynched. I was asleep at the time, and couldn't reply, but if he were scum getting ready to take out a townie, it wouldn't be worth asking. Instead, it seems (added to what he wrote publicly) that he was genuinely suspicious of Tumi. -
I'm not trying to bully people, I'm trying to motivate a (relatively) lazy crowd. I chose the three people who were under the greatest suspicion at that time, not even my #1 choice. Are you proposing no-lynch as the best course of action? Or a better lynch candidate? If you have a better course of action, share it. I'm open to hear it. But it's poor form to call someone a bully for initiating action

Two 'guests' reading the page for a while. Must be formulating a plan.

We should have a lynch. Of the people I'm suspicious of, Sigrid is highest, so that is what I must do. Unvote: Legodad Vote: Sigrid (sisco) I do agree that Petr's being much weirder than usual, and could see changing my vote there, if that lynch picks up. I'd like to strongly suggest people not voting for, say, the top three (Mist, Petr, or Sigrid) unvote and vote for one of those three, or vote if you haven't in the first place. It would lead us to a lynch, and would give us more to work with later in the game. Being a single voter in a situation like this is akin to throwing your vote away, and shows you are afraid to show a real opinion in this deathly serious matter.

It's pretty much in my posts. At work, can't type much.

For me, lefsi, Sigrid, and Crocodyr are pinging hardest.
-
I have never played with Mist. Tumi has. Would you like me to post the PM I got from Tumi letting me know that Mist is Finnish, so English is probably not his first language?
-
Pinging this one too.

In light of Mist's totally baffling posts, I'm thinking he's actually just struggling to communicate with us, rather than dupe us. I don't read him as town, but the scum reading is not so strong. Unvote: Mist (Mencot) This pings me hard. I was thinking about Chrocdahr for his lazy vote, but this is a very standard scum tactic: Don't vote for the leading vote-getter and make a point of letting people know about it. No blood on their hands, and it becomes a defence later on. Vote: Lefsi (Legodad) Later on in the day, I am willing to change my vote, depending on whether a lynch can be reached or not. I think it's crucial we get a lynch.

What part is without merit? All of it? Waffly? I have no clue what this quote is saying. I don't think voting immediately when voting starts on day 1 always gets accused. It can, but usually by lousy players. And hopefully there are enough veteran players here to steer the ship right if the newbies panic and attack early voters (none of whom are in any danger right now). This quote makes, almost no sense, in consideration of what came before it from all sides.
