  1. Now this is really unhelpful. You are basically throwing away your vote. I don't know who the scum are, but I think all townies should be giving their input on the main people on the block, and not avoiding it. If Peter is scum, this is a good move to not have any blood on his hands tomorrow (another sign that there aren't five scum). ~~~~~~~~~~~ Why has Bernard been asking me so many questions, then simply ignoring every answer? It's as if he really didn't care what the answers were.
  2. I got nothing. The riddle was revealed during my sleep time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I still have 24 hours here, so I want to urge Kristina not to open contact with Bernard tonight. It will be a waste. I was thinking this was the game-decider, but I think the scum won't win tonight. After making my last statement, I was thinking about how unusual Bernard hadn't been at me since the day one. Literally every other lifetime I've played with him, he's relentlessly accused me since day one (though in Bernard's case, it would be day three<?>). And in each case, we were both town, or at least, not scum. But this time, he started positively soft on me, and even now, he's just accusing and ignoring the answers. He's not actually going at me though. I would hope it's some evolution in his character, but I think it's just him being scummy. Add to that, after I said that I laid responsibility for my lynch on him, and he comes back with this: He's accusing me, but already laying down his 'whoops, I goofed " for night 5. That's why I think scum won't win today, since Bernard is covering himself for tomorrow's results. Don't let my death be in vain!
  3. I suggested him as a good investigation target. That is different from "I won't vote for him without an investigation first." That seems pretty normal. I actually did address her... at first. She ignored the answers, and taunted me instead. Is my name Dexy-poo? Sorry, but if that's how you're interacting, I'm not interested in it. Notice how you have made an effort not to be an megablocks to me this life, and I have gone out of my way to address your concerns. Even though you're ignoring the answers. She wasn't offensive, just obnoxious. Unfortunately, the town is slowing down. I want to see more effort. It's only a game... It's only a game... Never mind the arsenal of taunts Tammo's building.
  4. Yeah, I planned to vote Colin based on what I knew before he claimed vig... Seriously, same as your accusations against Colin, there is no defence. I am town. I am vanilla. There is nothing I can offer that isn't available to the rest of the town. I am fighting for town, but I can't promise a 'better path'. I can just say that a vote for Priscilla isn't a vote for a guaranteed town (which I know because I know my role). You've said a lot of megablocks so far, but that's the cherry on the cake. When a vanilla is being shoved to the lynch, you want them to solve the mysteries that town hasn't been able to so far with whatever PRs they have? What the megabluck are you expecting? Seriously. About your bullying technique against those who aren't voting for me, I have to wonder if this isn't your final move. Lynch a townie, and scum wins, so even though I'll turn up town when lynched, you'll have won the game, so it's too late to see the shit you've been weaving. Jump in and play ultra-townie, push a lynch on Dogukan (he was town), push a lynch on Colin (back off after a role claim), push a lynch on me (we'll see). This has to be the night for scum to win, because they wouldn't risk outing themselves so clearly otherwise. Town, if the Malones continue to night five, I want you to lynch the megabluck out of Bernard, and say it's for me. For Dexter. Too beautiful to live. A beautiful soul. (another 30 hours left, so between my obscene work hours, I'll keep trying to help this town <four out of those thirty> ... how's that for a better path?.. )
  5. Sorry, just keep piling it on. 'Believe' does not equal 'know', but I see you come from Patricia's school of grammar. Good job with your 'evidence.' I'm sorry if my attitude ends up being what does town in. I'm really annoyed to have this on my shoulders.
  6. If you're the vig, then yeah, it's a disappointment all around. For your sake, I recommend not being too cocky about things, so you don't have to so much when my towniness is revealed
  7. Actually, the main reasons people are voting for me are because of Patricia's hunch. And those weren't any more substantial than say, Patricia, Bernard, and Dogukan's suspicions of Colin. I'm willing to accept Colin's claim, based on the lack of a counter-claim for vig. Of course, that puts my theory of why scum killed Patricia in a totally ducked position. Nice job scum. You've painted me into a corner, and I really have nothing else to counter with. Good scum like to megabluck with the town totally, and it seems we're fighting good scum. For his aggressive lack of any positive contribution, I'm beginning to think Bernard has snowballed the town heavily. Thinking about it, he's asked me a lot of questions, and I've tried to give him answers. His response? Vote Dexter. Not much use dealing with him, he asks a question and ignores the answers. If I'm lynched, and town is still around to fight another day, I bet he'll have an excuse. As it is, I have little choice. I am town. I find it unlikely that there are two townies in the crossfire here, and I hope this is the best decision: vote: Priscilla (mostlytechnic) At this point, I'd be willing to swing it all against Bernard, but I know I couldn't get the town behind it, so I'll have to do as I have.
  8. Ach, I have only about ten minutes before I have to go to my second job (woe is me), but I really want you to think about what you're doing if you lynch me. I'm vanilla town. If you take me out, that could be the scum win. I'm going to be really upset if the town loses the game over a mislynch of me. If you think town can spare a townie, and you want to test it, yeah, better to lynch a vanilla, I guess. I really want us to lynch a Ferrari. We need to. I don't know the best choice. I'd say Terrence, but he didn't jump on the bandwagon for me, which makes him look a little townier. I'll be back in a few hours, to try and figure things out
  9. ...He wrote at 12:50 am on a Tuesday... apparently unaware of how names can show 'reading' for a while after leaving the page. Really? Bernard didn't know that? Let's wait for the vote to open.
  10. Yes, the scum should have killed top lynch candidate Colin to get the heat of Colin. That's a marvel of logic you've presented. I guess I'll have to vote for myself
  11. I know. And then I asked you: Can you? You aren't answering that. I know I'm town. Not quite the towniest of towns this time around, embarrassingly enough, but I can see you avoiding the points that might make you look bad. ~~~~~~~~~~ To the others' ideas, about Patricia being killed for being part of Kristina's group, maybe that's the case, and I'm just too up on myself. But without a wacky new role, I can't see how the scum knew she was part of the communications thingee. It really just strikes me as a ploy to delay the town one more day so that scum can claim victory. This poor enforcer needs a nap. I'll be back later.
  12. I think someone has a stutter, or is it a case of scumboard copy error? I most certainly am not, but it could be a very subtle way for Terrance to get my name stirred into things. Is Terrence smart enough to do that? I never said I was framed. But I respect you scummily trying to put words in my mouth By 'respect', I mean the way I respect a hyena that chews on carrion. It does as it must. Allow me to defer to the Dexter of a few hours back: Can you?
  13. So, do we even have an investigator? Kristina, did you have any contact with anyone that had a role other than protector? I'm getting the feeling, unless scum were pinpoint precise in their kills (scum roll cop?), that town was unusually weak to begin with. If I had to do my top three right now, it would be: 1. Colin 2. Terrance 3. Candy How about the rest of you?
  14. I'm shocked that people aren't more upset that Dogukan was Malone! This could be the end of us if we mislynch today. If there are five scum, a mislynch wins it for scum. If the vig/SK kills wrong, the scum could win. We have to sort out the truths from the lies. Doesn't surprise me you think that, since you were both Dogukan's and Patricia's top lynch target. Call me vain, but when somebody who was making an issue about me bites it, I get to thinking what it might have to do with me. Common sense. I totally don't get your logic here. Especially in light of Dogukan being a Malone. His last wish was to lynch Colin. You wanted to lynch him. Lots of others did. If he were town, there would be zero chance of scum taking him out, nor (if you were town) of them taking you out. They already had him as a guaranteed lynch, so it would be best off to leave you alone. Would killing me have put Patricia up for the lynch? Unlikely. She would have gotten away with "oopsie, I made a widdle boo boo! " So why kill her? Because we're having this conversation right now I can't think of any other kill that might have led to getting the heat off of Colin. Can you? I don't know that it is an implied SK. I thought so, but lots of people have disagreed. I'm trying to think of what the chances are that all of Kristina's choices have been killed (except mystery Person A). It's really unlikely, but I find it unlikely that scum would come out with a brash lie on day 2 (?)... seems too soon and without provocation. I'll wait a little more to hear what Bernard's bombshell is, and unless he has something genuinely substantial, I think I'll have to vote for Colin.
  15. Not because she was arguing with you, but because she was arguing with me. I think it's safe to say you are top lynch target, unless something else comes up. So you're saying we should flip coins? That would get about equal results.
  16. Gah. I honestly have mixed feelings about this. Patricia must have been town (or SK) since the tuxedo killer has to be the scum, but at the same time, she was really goddam annoying. Her accusations weren't the most annoying thing, but her attempt to do it in an annoying way. The intent always hurts more than the action. Today was the closest she came to having an ounce of courtesy with me. Regardless, if someone had to die last night, better her than me. The numbers are getting low, and the first thing that comes to mind is Colin. He is next up for lynch, unless something drastic draws attention away from him. Patricia's endless need to squabble with me might be what the scum were looking for.
  17. It's in the early part of day three. I was hoping he was scum, as it would leave a trail to some suspicious voting. He wasn't, and it didn't tell us much, other than that Byron has a bad habit of getting lynched. Therefore, I was much more interested in those results. It seems common sense to me, but I realize opinions will vary. Back to work. We can continue the Great Byron Debate later if need be.
  18. Got it. I say 'should' when suggesting things, you say 'could just let.' The problem was grammatical. My strategy in a no-PM game is to be a little more public. Why, Bernard even suggested everyone outing themselves! But that didn't raise an eyebrow with you
  19. I apologize formally, madam. I wanted Dogukan investigated too Really, in a no-PM game, lots of people should be suggesting possible investigations, rather than one person, and two people agreeing with it. That is why the people who agreed with me look a little scummy to me. As I said, start a lynch on me. When I come up town, you can say oops! And the scum will have a laugh. Will you be laughing too?
  20. I've been trying to avoid fighting, and Patricia has made up her mind, so there isn't a lot of of use in engaging her, especially when she's trying to get a rise out of me. That's just the way it is. I postulated a plan to lynch Bryan, and then said I wanted to know his allegiance results. So she says I didn't want to know Shane's because I already knew it because I already knew it since I'm scum. That's inane, and I already explained my interpretation last night before she asked me to. I don't feel any need to tell her again, not with the attitude she's taken with me. If you act like an megablocks to someone, you can't be surprised if they drop out of the conversation. I've been trying to help us take out these stupid Ferraris from the start of day one, a lot more than some, but feel free to lynch me since I didn't publicly wonder about Shane's allegiance
  21. Ahh, late night zombie! I guess we can expect it daily then? I had no real read on Adelaide, but if it was a vig, I think Colin or Dogukan would have been more obvious choices. That leads me to believe it was a SK. And, by the way, let's look at the final votes: Doğukan Akbulut (Dragonator) - 9 (CorneliusMurdock, Trumpetking, def, Cecilie, Peanuts, Captain Nemo, Pandora, Capt. Redblade, Kristel) Colin Malone (CorneliusMurdock) - 2 (Chillax Darth Frodo, Dragonator) Priscilla and Penelope chose not to vote. Could you two please explain why?
  22. Zombies, zombies, zombies... Can you tell what I'm wondering about?

    Post your own art

I haven't updated my stuff in a long while, since, to be honest, this isn't the best site to do it in. But, since I last posted, here are some highlights.... My mini-comics cover: My new business card: A selection from my ongoing diaries (about 40 strips done since the last post I did here): My 'art' comics from this summer: A page from last week: So much stuff going on. Too much is better than not enough.
  24. Dash Shaw- New School. megablocking brilliant. If you avoid it, you love genre, not comics. Comics are an art form, and this guy is practicing it. Attack on Titan 1 - Awesome, fear-inducing, but troubling in that the heroes are all manga-esque, but the villains are are clearly Western/Europeans. Regardless, I liked it, and ordered the next three from Amazon. Superior Spider-man. I'm enjoying it a lot. Not so much its spin-offs. But the main title is all about character, and that's the key thing you could ask for. A load of other stuff. I spent a wad of cash after my birthday last month to fatten my library. I still consider my next LEGO purchase, but I'm in a comics phase right now.
