  1. Katalina is probably vanilla town, so I've changed my vote to Mei.
  2. I'm now vanilla, which would give scum a reason not to kill me, but I'm active, and may be trusted as town soon, which would give them a great reason to kill me. Watcher, doctor, if you don't mind targeting me tonight, I would appreciate this.
  3. Juan, if you have suspicions at the start, it's best to voice them. A silent town is great for scum to hide in. If everyone speaks up, the scum are forced to speak up too, and there's a far greater chance of them slipping up. On the off chance Katalina is scum, scum are under no obligation to switch their vote. They can just pretend they weren't around. Hmmm. Oh, and Bebe is terrible. Let's not forget that.
  4. Mei came and read, then went back to consult her scum buddies. Absolutely no one should have no opinion on this turn of events. And Juan, you should never lynch a person for being active out front. There is time to investigate, but if you mislynch an active townie, you're just leaving the town with lazy non-players. The risk is far too great. Please keep that in mind forever.
  5. Okay, that was me. I revealed the vote with a one-off ability. Now I'm just a vanilla townie. That should confirm my towniness to all but the noobiest of you (when a secret vote is the scums friend, why would scum need an ability to reveal? They don't, and I am logically town.) As we can see, Alan is going to be lynched and the assumed three scum will vote together. Therefore, he is not scum. I will be changing my vote, but it's a question of whether to vote for Mei (over role playing, bandwagoning, nonsensical) or Katalina (absent, still voted, totally dodging day one). I'm going to go for Katalina. Let's not kill Alan today for being a noob. And maybe someone should protect/watch me tonight since I'm the only confirmed town. I suspect that all the scum voted for Alan, which likely clears those who didn't as 'not scum'. Not town, mind you, but not Feds. I really would love to take out a nattering cinder block like Bebe, but there is little reason to now. I could be totally wrong about this, but it makes sense that the scum would vote as a block.
  6. But you just said it was what scum would want. I'm confused.
  7. Now, I realise you are but a simple wrestler, but this is most certainly not a he said/she said situation. I have a reason for being suspicious of them, and they think it's unfair. He said/she said implies some contentious claim, and that is not the case. That is the opposite of mafia. Publicly stating our suspicions is the number one weapon the town has. How else do we make informed decisions, especially in the coming days when allegiances are learned and that information can be considered in retrospect?
  8. It's a very strong possibility, but I didn't want to demand Paco and Katalina be active by calling them out. They are usually quite active, and there absence should speak volumes about their helpfulness. <Made in reference to Juan's statement.>
  9. New? No. That's a ridiculous expectation, but I've made accusations with reasonable reasons, for day one. Do you disagree? No, because unlike typical situations, where scum can be counted upon to join in on votes against scum in order to look good, in this case, no. Only town will be voting against scum. 'We' in that case would be a confusing thing to write, since I was emphasizing the need for town to vote together. So I meant town. I appreciate the fact that every game, someone will take it upon themselves to play 'pronoun police' but it's pretty unhelpful, and will not wield results. By day two, I expect to be both alive and cleared as town. Make of that what you will, but you know how these games are, with their wonky roles and all. Vote for me day one only if you honestly think I'm likely scum.
  10. No worries, time zones and all...
  11. Yes. At this point, we will have nothing to learn in upcoming days. Only Tiffany, Benito and myself have stated actual opinions, and Bebe and Alan have done the old "You think I'm scum? Then I think you're scum!" which is utterly useless to everyone in hindsight. It's not that Tiffany or Benito are definitely town, but that if they were to come up town, something might be made of what they've said. Everyone else? Not so much. Like you voting for Bebe?
  12. Let me guess: being unable to read is part of your character. I said a while back that I was voting for Alan. On top of that, your reasoning: I'm trying to get everyone to vote for you... Can you find examples of that? Have I been campaigning? Oh, wait, you can't read. Revenge voting, bad play. Especially if you are town, since when I die and come up town, you'll be first to get lynch. To summarize: Bebe says nothing of use, revenge votes, makes up specious reasons. Bad signs all around.
  13. 48 hours in, and barely anyone is talking, and even fewer are saying anything. Good job, scum. Day one goes to you.
  14. We can say who we're voting for, just not formally state it and keep a tally.
  15. Revenge voting. It's not a legit reason to vote someone, and you should know scum are almost never going to be out with accusations day one. Revenge voting.
  16. Alan had been reading, but no reply. A possible sign he's off consulting more experienced players?
  17. Sometimes townies do/say the wrong thing and it hurts the town. But sometimes scum slip up and speak with a certainty only scum can have. I can't say for sure you're scum, I won't know until you're dead. But your speaking is the most suspicious. Who else do you suggest we vote for? And that is something everybody should be saying. When the town is quiet, the scum are happy.
  18. You wouldn't know, which makes it a scummy mistake. If you had said "I think she was just being obnoxious," it wouldn't have pinged my scumdar, but you concretely said it. It's a scummy slip. We'll see if it was a townie slip up or not. Now, is anybody else here going to give their two cents?
  19. Oh, you find someone lobbing an accusation at you suspicious too? You and Bebe have quite the solid scum hunting technique: accuse anyone who is suspicious of you. Here's the thing about role playing: it's fine if you want to do it, but it's not to be confused with actual playing. For scum, it's very useful to appear busy while saying nothing, and role playing is one way to do that. Alan, how do you know Bebe was just being obnoxious? Like, in a way that you wanted to publicly put on record? How do you know? Until you have a solid answer for that, you are the best lynch target.
  20. You're more likely scum than her. Day one, only the scum know others allegiances. There is zero reason for you to defend her except that you are scum. I'll be changing my vote for you, it's a safer bet.
  21. Over defensive, add to that revenge voting. Day one votes have little substance, but revenge voting has even less substance than that. You've done this game 20 times, you should know better.
  22. Defended Bebe. Noted. When she turns up scum, you are next on the list.
  23. So you think aligning to the killers means victory? #oppsIoutedmyselfasascumbag
  24. Great! I'm voting for Bebe: loud in front, nothing of substance behind. I'll look forward to seeing if anyone else can surpass this very obvious uselessness
  25. I personally haven't, but I think it's pretty crucial that people start giving ideas on how to work with this. They can't exactly own the vote, but I expect that they will publicly have differing opinions, and privately all just lump onto whoever they want. But publicly, they will have differing opinions. This will make it really hard when we want to lynch an obvious scum bum, and it doesn't go through because some folks are lying to us all. Day one lynch of scum is virtually impossible, unless all townies vote together. I would love to hear some people ring in on what their strategy is, rather than just making hashtags and character comments. Otherwise, it's going to be a short, short 'situation'.
