So is there anything new about the English version of TMGTTU? On a different note, my BZP ST5 entry has given me some really weird statistics. As seen in this gallery, I made a wallpaper for each story year in 3 different sizes, and it's been interesting to see which wallpapers are most viewed. 2001 then 2008 are most looked at with the rest being comparatively ignored, and the most common screen-size that people pick is 1024x768. (The 2001 800x600 is an outlier because I uploaded it earlier for tests.) I don't know about you guys, but I find this really interesting.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"

No, I'm very Star Wars deficient. I do have the Droid head and Republic insignia plate from the V-wing set (No clone pilot though). -

Sorry, but the main brown parts that I have are vehicle or castle type stuff, not BURBs. And I'm using most of my plants in my MOCs right now, so I can't spare any. Are you interested in the pen though? It's this one I think. -

I used to, but I scrapped it for pieces in my bed-town sometime ago and I doubt I could extract it again. Yes, I think so, but what kind of greenery and brown parts do you want? No, not really. -

Hmm, there's nothing really there that I really need, but more MOCing parts would always help me, and I don't have any Znap, so I'd love to try using some. What do you want for it? I can't offer money right now, and the only Star Wars LEGO I have is one Ep3 Clone Trooper from a walker, quite a few lightsabers in various colours and possibly an R2D2 Pen if I can find all the pieces. -

I love the stuff, and I'd be happy to take some of your hands, especially masks. -
The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
Brickthing replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
I've got some holiday spare time and plenty of BIONICLE sets, so would I be able to have a go at the Reviewers Academy please? -
On the contrary to what you've said about your interior, I think it's quite important because you've got some nice big windows by the flowers that would be big enough to encourage visitors to try and look inside the building. Nothing makes looking at LEGO Town displays neater than being able to appreciate the outside, then peek inside the windows for a whole new level of detail. For this reason, I recommend you add some minifigs enjoying the Café food inside. As for the back of the Café, it would be neat if you replaced the car with a pick-up truck that is delivering food to the back of the Café, where there could be some crates full of various cooking foods and some barrels of drinks. Then you could either have the truck being unloaded or spilt, because interesting events in a Town display always are fun to spot. Good luck with your modules, and I look forward to seeing what you do with the Café and what you build on the other baseplate.

No offence to the Walrus intended, but his Blue Bucket is too big for mini-fig scale. When at the beach the kids want a bucket to make small sandcastles with, not a bucket to hide in. There's quite a few things that I'd love to see LEGO officially make, but I think it's more likely that a customisation website might put them out for us. I'd really love to see more scale minifig bags that aren't designed for camping, a handbag in the style of the Indiana bags, an art palette and paint-brush, as well as visor-like sunglasses and complimenting hair-pieces with cleverly disguised visor attachments. That way minifigs can wear shades on top of their heads or take them off in their hands.

How many ways to use the BOOM Box piece?
Brickthing replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I missed that Eilif was hinting at that! Considering that, it's actually kind of surprising that the City Minifig set had that piece, because most 8 year old kids might not recognise the tape, seeing as boom boxes no longer use cassettes any more. It makes me feel old to still own cassettes. As for the Boom Box, it comes in these sets, and I got mine in the lovely Outback Airstrip, along with the radio brick and the tan 8x32 baseplate. -
Wow, what a coincidence that this came up, because I've recently pulled out some of my childhood DUPLO for use in my MOCing. I've also run into a similar problem with with my chicken because there is a circular DUPLO stud below that prevents it from connecting to a 4x4 lego base. I've considered using LEGO plates or 1x1 studs to connect to the chicken around the circle, but I haven't tried that yet. I also discovered that circular 1x1 bricks fit loosely into a DUPLO stud, but after that I proceeded to find that TECHNIC tubing fits in as well, but firmly. I've used it to connect a DUPLO piece upside down to one of my MOCs and it works quite well. I hope this helps, and I look forward to seeing what others come up with.

The piece is also used as a film reel for the Town Plan cinema, and I'm sure there is/should be a MOC where it's used as DJ discs. -
Rediscover the bustling streets of Classic Town CONTEST
Brickthing replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Town
Would either of these minifigs be acceptable? Especially with the first one, I think it uses a sort of "modern" Classic-Town look, but I don't know if it's allowed, or if it's strictly perfect Classic-Town looks only. -
What site does ItB stand for?

No, they're shapeshifter that can take the form of different things. On the BS01 page for the Ignika, it says Mata Nui can't access the power of the Ignika because he lacks the experience to use it. Is that correct? I would've thought that Mata Nui's superior mind that came from being the universe would at least allow him to use a Kanohi!
-
Probably only inanimate objects. Not like Matau. No, in the example Greg gave he said they might become a tree, so I'm more concerned about whether they can be inanimate as well.
-
Ah, that's right. I was thinking their powers went along the lines of illusion, but it's actual physical shapeshifting. Has Greg said much on the limits of what they can shapeshift into? (such as inanimate objects or really big or small things)

I don't like tea. But cupcakes are fine. I hope we get to find out more about how the Baterra are invisible, like whether the phase out of visibility and tangibility, divert their enemies attention from them, or if they become invisible to see. I hope it's not the latter, because I'm sure that the Skrall would've been smart enough to throw sand in the air.
-
Don't worry, it's just a typo. They've happened before in the serials, and this one will be fixed before we know it as well.
-
Thanks for the tip, I'm going to go see if my local Aus/NZ kid's Magazine has a rock monster! However, tehnically they're not free, because you still have to pay for the worthless magazine as well.
-
"Sand stalkers were not the fighters that rock steeds were" No kidding there! I wonder if these Baterra play an important part in the movie?

The transparent pins are rare parts that I got them from the Bricklink store MAGICBRICKS after I missed out on the bricks from the Avatar raffle. It's also where I got sigfig's hat from.

Wow, I love the new skin Hinkley! It's so vibrant and colourful! And all those cypress trees make me jealous! Just one question, where is line for the electric train?

I think it's Awesome spelt badly with a Q thrown in. I've been pondering over it all day.
