Really? I only count 2 BIONICLE pieces, those two spine parts...

Logically, it isn't gay, because it's just a couple of people who have changed their screen-names on a internet forum about a kid's toy, and it's not like their wasting their own or anybody else's time, so what's wrong with it? Illogically, this is the internet, thus it's a gay fad.

There is a little bit of elemental items down in the bottom right corner of the canisters, which blends nicely with the Skrall maze background.

Pre-order Euros I presume. In other words, it's not that cheap.

Yayz, I get my first yummy PE boost for that.

I remember getting some of the Toa Metru at a LEGO exhibition at a local museum, and being sad that I got all the Vahki except the green one. That's about me for 2004. It wasn't until 2007 that I finally read up about the storyline.

I've made it a habit recently to not apply the stickers to sets, so that they stay in prime condition and I can use the bricks for normal purposes. Although I haven't done it yet, if I really want to use the stickers in the future (like the Town Plan movie poster stickers), I can scan the sticker sheet and print of a new set of stickers for use on my MOCs.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Brickthing replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Didn't see that coming! Cool, that sounds neat, although we've now got quite a lot of PM sets with sawblades on the front. The six wheel part sounds good though! I hope the wheel axles can rotate side to side independent of the vehicle like the Star Wars clone tank of 2005. -
Yeesh people. One site goes down, it's an accident. Two sites go down and it's suddenly a conspiracy to destroy the LEGO-web community?

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Brickthing replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You've seen it? Would you mind describing it a bit more? -
All the files on Brickshelf are still there, it's just the browsing function that's crashed. I can still get to all my files, I just have to go via the direct URL for them. How do you think our avs and banners are still working?

So what did that blender just blend? Galidor? Clikits? MEGABLOKS?

4485 Mini Anakin's Podracer and Sebulba's Podracer
Brickthing replied to def's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Good review! This is one of the two Star Wars sets that I have, and although I don't care to much for the models, the pieces of this set are wonderful, especially the orange heads, yellow flameholders and the trans-orange lightsaber bars. -
I agree with Sidorak, but IMO the Rahaga looks better in their movie forms, because they were diminutive super-hunchback Rahkshi like they were in the sets.

Waaht?

We can talk about the other hairstyles in the photo as well if you want. I want that background. It's a lovely big image of the Arena logo and the stadium.

Bottom corner, he's definitely losing hair. In the interview one of the answers is this: Seeing as there isn't much to work on how a helmet wobbles on the face when talking, he must be refering to making the masks move like proper faces.
-
What makes you think that? On BZP, the fourth Set Designers Q&A reveals to us that the Glatorian helmets will be animate in the film. I was hoping that the eyeholes could be slightly bigger in the film to allow eyebrows behind the masks, but I guess that wouldn't work for a kid's movie. In the cases of Gresh and Strakk-like helmets, this won't be too bad, but Mata Nui's Ignika is going to fail big-time if it grows eyebrows and a mouth. Also in the Q&A, it looks like Binky's balding.

Yay, BZP is back! Noo, my trade topic isn't! And I'm going to have to re inventory the hundreds of masks I had in it. EDIT: This Topic to save your topics!

Speaking of Zesk, I hope this serial allows us to see a bit more of the Zesk than we have so far. Currently, the biggest appearance of the Zesk is in the MLN Game. As for the new serial, I think it was definitely a good continuation of the great new style that Greg's given the serials. This one does a great job at further detailing Malum's unique relationship with the Vorox, and how cruel the Skrall are. It would've been nice to have a comic strip/animation rendition of that Skrall getting owned by Vorox when trying to duplicate Malum's feat.

Hopefully BZP comes back up properly, because I've spent a good amount of time on my entry for the ST5 Contest, and I don't want to see that go to waste if the contest needs to be cancelled. It came a bit later than I expected, but I was just waiting for somebody to reply to that.

Typically backups are stored on a separate storage from the server so that if the main database crashes, the backup is there to replace it from the last known stable state of the database. If your backups where destroyed by the main site crash, then your doing backups wrong.

Okay, so Jinzo is gone for the time being, and this topic is becoming a Transformers/When will BZP be back topic. This is madness...

Great work on the Cafe Blue Bard, it's nice to see an improved real version after seeing the LDD version. I love the sig-fig cameos and little touches like Hinkley's blender. However, in the 7th picture, it looks a bit peculiar to have a dashboard title on top of the wall. Is it meant to be there, or was it a substitute for a plain white tile?

Here be the topic.
