  1. So many weapons and a great colour scheme to match! It would be great if you could have a couple of these figs defending a street from zombies in a larger MOC. My only complaint would be that the minifig's face isn't that suiting, and it would be better if he had an expression of evil, crazy, or un-controllable happiness. (Like some CRAZY jester! )
  2. Y'know, my cane is classier than your cane - mine has a Hau on the top.
  3. What's the rock meant to be?
  4. I doubt that - Krahka seems like a nice gal, but the Baterra are faceless assassins that exist only to kill other beings. And the GBs made the Baterra whereas the Brotherhood of Makuta (presumably) made Krahka's species.
  5. The Elemental and Kanohi powers of Toa would make them greater than anything on Bara Magna, including the Baterra. If the Baterra have more powers than just shapeshifting it might be different, but currently there are many many ways that a Toa could easily dispatch a Baterra.
  6. Are you serious? That's an awesome purpose! (Although Toa would've been more awesome doomsday devices)
  7. On the bright side, despite it's twists and turns, RoS seems to be indirectly explaining why Teridax won't show up halfway through The Legend Reborn and smash Bara Magna to a pulp - he's to busy crushing the wacky rebellions going on inside him.
  8. I dunno, having sideways icicle shoulders would make Strakk look better from the back and sides. Unfortunately Teridax wouldn't see the point in bothering to make himself a MU scale incarnation to have a proper fight with himself. He'd rather destroy himself in the most gruesomely ironic way possible. As for Certavus, I think it ends on the 23rd. Chances are number 7 will come out second with the rate that the polls are changing scales.
  9. Initial Thoughts: Wow, Tuyet really is wacked up. The OoMN had/has bases in other dimensions? Tuyet spent thousands of years being tortured, then thousands of years travelling through (and probably demolishing) other universes? Botar could dimension hop? I thought he could only 'port! Teridax can detect another Makuta but fails to recognise that it's him? Mata Nui robot has some kind of laser-heat-vision or mega-fire-bombs or something that can vaporise the EO. And the Red Star seems to be some kind of transportation assistant to Mata Nui - Teridax claimed he needed to signal it when he wanted to leave the EO. Considering it can't be as big as Mata Nui, I reckon it's his space helmet.
  10. This would be an appropriate idea for some nice head decals in the Minifig Customization Workshop. It would be nice to have proper moustache head alternates from sets, but custom ones would work as well.
  11. Entry 1 has taken a 13 vote lead over 2nd place! That is unexpected to say the least.
  12. What a neat thread, I never thought of trying my member number as a set number. It seems I'm an extra brick-set, although quite a big 812 piece one I might add. I might actually have this set, although I'm really not too sure.
  13. Mine have that problem as well, because it'll make them unnessecarily bulky to have leg reinforcements. I figure if it is possible to have it standing up, no matter how hard it is to keep it like that, it should be fine. I might also need to invest in trick-photography, but I doubt it would help much. As for the Certavus poll, it's amazing how a News mention can affect the poll. Votes have skyrocketed to over 700, and entry number 1 is second all of a sudden, and 10 has fallen behind.
  14. Out of interest, what do you guys think that LEGO plans to do with the winning BBCC53 Robot? The specifications seem really specific, but it's annoying that they don't tell us what it's for, so we could just be hit and missing for the type of robot that they actually want. Also, how are your entries going if you're entering? Mine are going well I think.
  15. Sadly only 1, but someday I'll get more from other sets or from Bricklink. They're just so cute!
  16. Yup, those two are defintately the impulses of this year, as well as two Space Police 3 ones later this year. I don't know why they haven't shown up in NZ yet... I discovered Bricklink just before the currency went bad. Now I try to avoid paying NZ for USD at all.
  17. Recently I disassembled almost all of my minifigs to their individual parts and sorted them into drawers to make a custom-minifig machine. My place is like Frakenstein's lab. Also, thanks to my minifig-machine, I have absolutely no idea how many minifigs I could call to arms if needed. But I can still destroy you all with my giant BIONICLE mecha-army!
  18. The customness of Bunda's is nice, as well as the weapon, but the colour scheme is so whacked up. It's white, black and blue down the bottom, white black and gunmetal in the middle, and the head and crystals make it white, blue, light blue and trans-blue up the top.
  19. Are there any 2009 Impulses yet? I've been saving a $20 voucher to pick up a couple of Chefs and Pirates. (My town needs fish and chicken ) As for the BIONICLE sets, I think I've got all that Whitcoulls ever offers. In the mailer it clearly says $50, so you've got every right to complain about it. I'm not sure if they have to give it to you for $50, but I presume that they'll be nice enough to do so.
  20. No, their helmets are still unique because they're different colours.
  21. But all of the significant Glatorian and Agori have unique helmets, and there is the possibility for Certavus to have one too, so I don't see why he should be stuck with a Metus helmet.
  22. If a Certavus with a Metus helmet wins, then there are two significant characters with the same face. And storyline-wise if a normal Glatorian can have a unique helmet, then Certavus certainly should have one too. That is why Certavus must have a custom helmet.
  23. At least Ackar and Berix's helmets look distinctly different because of their colours. As for Bunda's entry, there are to many colours on it. People also need to realise that this isn't a popularity contest either. I really hope that one day there will be a completely anonymous contest like the ones that have happened here on EB (No names on photos, photos all hosted in the same place).
  24. I favour Entry 10 and 6 because they don't use Metus' helmet. It's better than a Metus clone though. Nope, the comments are just there to influence who you pick.
  25. Wow Guss, that looks great! I really like the scenes in the back with the worker's expressions, and although I don't know what the dynamite trade is about, it's certainly fun to look at! The truck is also very stylish. One concern that I have is related to how people will be able to view the module. Will the be able to walk around the front and back of the modules, or will they be against a wall with access only to the front. Either way, the Café seems low enough to allow people to see over it, but if they can't see the module directly from the back they may not be able to see the expressions of the great droppig minifigs. Maybe if you turned them around so that they where facing away from the fence it might be better. Overall, the Café is looking even better, and thanks for using our suggestions! Good luck with your build.
