  1. Back of canister plz... (It's the bit we haven't seen yet. ) Also, close-up pictures of the set and movie advertisements that are most likely in the instructions please. Check if your camera has a Macro option, because that'll remove the fuzziness of close-ups.
  2. I went to Farmers Glenfield today and they had the Sep Shuttle and Y-Wing there, although they were in opened LEGO shipping boxes discretely under the shelves (probably being saved till the 20% off sale is over ). I didn't have time to check the other toy stores there though.
  3. I've been using 3DS Max 9. Pity about those files, because they'd make my day ten times over. With the arms, I was just being lazy and I reused them from my previous Gresh model, as well as all the character models in my BZP ST5 Entry.
  4. I modelled the mask using an official side-on graphic of the 2008 Ignika, and the front using another 2008 graphic. I presume the 2009 Ignika is more rounded isn't it? As for the weapon, there was a very good front view of it in the Desert of Danger picture novel, so that made it much easier to make.
  5. V2 V2 Back Detail Original V1 Please post comments and suggestions so that I can improve the model. I'm going for a semi-realistic/cartoon style, so I'm not trying to make it match the set perfectly, just appropriate proportions and detail mainly.
  6. The Farmers 20% off sounds good, because we haven't had them for a while. Unfortunately Farmers doesn't have any larger BIONICLE sets this year, so I'm going to have to settle for the 15% off at Kmart where they do have them. EDIT: Oh great, my 1000 post was complaining about prices.
  7. There's plenty that they could try to do, but your right in the fact that nothing can work, because the MU being liberated is a main-story thing that will be returned to in the future. In RoS 5, Vezon must be visually deformed because if the Skakdi are the baddies I doubt the Toa and Agori would've treated him so nicely if they knew what he was... Also, I wonder how Tahu became Tahu Nuva if there never was a GC and a reason to go into the Bahrag lair...
  8. Do I get firsts on a 3D Toa Mata Nui?
  9. I went to the Albany Kmart on Sunday and there wasn't any new LEGO, although both Farmers and The Warehouse there had the Assault Droid Tank and the Power Miner sets.
  10. It does now, but when I posted the link it was a topic with 0 posts.
  11. Probably July, when the new website launches. We've already got all the info we can get from the product descriptions of the vehicles. EDIT: This is why I love BZP.
  12. Alright, it seems cleared up them. It does make a lot more sense than fluke-whacking a robot. Sure, I love debates, just don't start spurting STAR WARS quotes on me as part of your argument.
  13. I'm 99% sure I read that Greg said that Stronius was the one who whacked the Battera, and that's how he got his name. I had a ranting complain about it a few pages back in this topic.
  14. That's not new news, for those of us who aren't afraid of the OGD (). Stronius got his name by whacking a Baterra.
  15. "The Skopio creature, which inspired the Skopio vehicle, shows up in the movie." - OGD
  16. Oh well, it was worth a shot. Is it an interesting theme though?
  17. Provided that they weren't scared off by the trailer already. Do any of the BZP staffers here have any clues to give about the next BBCC contest theme?
  18. Sure if you didn't ask it would be easier, but there was nothing to stop Greg from falling back on the "Can't answer it" storyline safeguard if he wanted to.
  19. I just got back from The Warehouse, Glenfield and they had all three new Power Miner sets as well as that Snail Droid Tank. I got the Crystal King for $34, which I think was a very good price.
  20. I think he might mean the Separist Shuttle set, that's got some blue on it...
  21. What a fantastic set! It's filled with so many great minifigs, parts and details that I'll have to try and get it! The only sad thing that I can see is that the man doesn't seem to actually put the snowman's nose on and will be left in the cold with the carrot wondering why there isn't a connection point for it.
  22. 1) No 2) Not really something I have thought about, since I'm not an artist 3) Unknown at this point, but how do you feature one without the other? 4) That gets revealed in the Papercutz graphic novel, so you'll find out when that comes out 5) It's more of a within reason. I don't want to rob them of their mystique by providing details on their power specs 6) Their compact physical shape 7) We don't know that an EL is made out of his element, but if he/she was, he's an individual -- controlling him would mean using mind control. If it were possible to do this, couldn't Vakama have just controlled the fire elemental he fought? 8) No, because it was irrelevant to their researches. 9) Yes 10) They are in their native region -- they are the sand tribe, which was always based in the Bara Magna region. So there were more of them there to start with than anyone else. Yayz, I figured out more Baterra lookiness and Pre-Cataclysm Zesk+Vorox.
  23. On the topic of loling, this came from the OGD: All the movie-promo hints and question-dodging from Greg so far seem to point blaringly at Mata Nui using the test GS parts to make a new GS for himself. If that isn't the eventual case of the BM storyline, I'll be really surprised.
  24. I think it helped, but I didn't get lucky with any of my ideas. Oh well. I've got better ideas for BBCC54 though.
  25. Hunchback-ness and dual toe things are essential as well. Out of my five entries, I'm sure I had all the criteria, except they were all scatter throughout my different entries. X(
