  1. I realize, and I'm more hopeful now that I noticed that the hairpiece is actually placeholder-white, so it'll probably be done in a proper half-and-half style, even if it's red and black,
  2. This is what happens when I have things to do, I miss (contraband) images of a set I'm really excited for. I understand why they're forbidden, so why do people think they're okay to post? EDIT: saw them. Red and black and Harley's blonde? What a colossal disappointment. The 'cycle indicates that Harley won't have a new torso print, and the hair would be in a new color, so that's not changing, either. What does LEGO have against making a proper New 52 design?
  3. This is the second time they've recycled a Power Miners lava monster name...can they please be more original?
  4. I'd rather the characters all looked good in a group, and giving some molded heads and some without would look rather sloppy.
  5. And we complained about Batman's vehicles being ridiculous before.
  6. It must be the Aurra Sing hair. There's no reason for LEGO to make a new piece, and any differences are likely due to the motion shown in the artwork.
  7. LEGO would never be so subversive, but it's an interesting idea.
  8. To clarify: I love Wonder Woman's hair, but these recent pictures make it look like crap. Literally.
  9. It's even less likely that an official set would mix minidolls with minifigures. Since the only Aladdin set so far only included Jasmine, it's unlikely that the DP theme will produce characters that aren't the Princes and Princesses themselves.
  10. Brickset has an article about it.
  11. Breaking news: LEGO holds the license to the reboot, so expect more GB sets in the future.
  12. I think the Genie would be a bit repetitive after the Series 6 Genie who takes liberal inspiration from him.
  13. I'm just waiting for the announcement of either form of the Evil Queen. Surely, Disney's first villain would get in somewhere?
  14. Ugh. Those pictures make WW's hair look like excrement... Not keen on the reused face on Cosmic Boy.
  15. I think that's a stretch. The helmet wasn't from S15, so I don't think the (already existing) weight will be, either.
  16. It's the same armor as General Kozu's, so it's just a color difference.
  17. The story is that the blades are able to literally capture the ninja and their powers inside them.
  18. I've seen proof of Missy being in there, too, if she wasn't mentioned already.
  19. I think the point of the shows are simply to sell toys. That's what they're for, and the sets rely on the show more than the opposite. It's a shame, because they could make it quality entertainment, but they just want their products to be sold.
  20. I love that Nadakhan has a printed lamp, and I really like the face of the samurai-helmet guy with the tusks. And the Serpentine pirate...please explain, TV show!
  21. PLEASE. The Jetsons and Flintstones were part of my childhood, and I'd immediately buy any minifigures from the two shows. They've already got Hanna-Barbera involved, so I'll be very disappointed if they don't take these two potential themes anywhere.
  22. Silver weights have appeared before, as hubcaps on the Ecto-1, for example. It's not a new piece, so I don't know why it was "leaked". I don't think it has any reason to be in this series.
  23. Yes, I want villagers and witches. But I don't see how they'd do the arms properly.
  24. What I don't understand is where these sets fit in. It seems like a clear continuation of the ghost wave, but we've never heard of these sets before, so they'd have to be after the Sky Pirates wave, which seems a bit clumsy in terms of storytelling.
  25. All of the named characters are very different to me. Moltor's hardened lava with glowing lava throughout, Whiparella has a snake tail and hardened "garments", Flama's the Human Torch of the baddies. Beat Master and Lavaria are more normal looking, but they're okay. I think the minion-type baddies are boring, but the named leaders all look distinctive yet tied-together, but I can see why the red seems a bit too much. I think it's a good balance, from too-similar villains to villains that don't look like they're working together. Anyhow, this won't last more than two waves. The villains will almost certainly change.
