Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
8BrickMario replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Three of Maleficent, Alice, Ursula, and the Cheshire Cat? That's all of my favorites! Oh, well. I can be patient.- 4,155 replies

Armored Lantern uses Ultimate Aaron's armor, and Impulse uses Falcon's torso, Mighty Micros Flash's head, and the Zombie Businessman's head. EDIT: Ninja'd.

What's up with that Two-Face? Is it new, does it have a comics precedent, or is it not even Dent. but another villain? Also, I really appreciate the new character designs, like Harley and Catwoman, rather than reusing the physical stuff or previous comic material. The top hat piece feels very Burtonian to me, which is a good thing. I like how it dwarfs Penguin himself!

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
8BrickMario replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Harley has poofier pigtails and straight bangs, and Ivy's hair is sort of a hybrid of Bellatrix and the Banshee's. I want every single one of the Bat-rogues from this movie. They all look fantastic!- 8,446 replies

Nice to see that Ursula has a minimal footprint, and is centered on the stand.- 4,155 replies

Korean as default language for Eurobricks
8BrickMario replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Forum Information and Help
Horrible thought: This might be a gradual AFD thing like Ameribricks, spanning over a week with more and more Korean as it goes...please don't do that! -

Not what I was expecting. Good one, I guess? (Not gonna try to test the censors this time, since I'm sure it'll turn Korean.) -

I'm wondering about the name change- surely all that was needed was a series number, as "Minifigures- Disney Series" is the official name. Perhaps "Collectible" has been so ingrained in our terminology that we can't resist?- 4,155 replies

Eh, Syndrome's face doesn't change much from when he was known as Buddy. While I don't think the face is accurate to any of his expressions, it's still very Syndrome.- 4,155 replies

Maleficent's horns have the matte finish indicating rubber, due to the sharpness of the shape.- 4,155 replies

It's probably only out of convenience. By doing it this way, LEGO only had to make two head molds, not four.- 4,155 replies

Change of opinions. I still love Ursula, but Alice is now my favorite minifigure. The story has always been a favorite of mine, and Alice herself looks great. So my top 3 are: Alice Ursula Maleficent- 4,155 replies

Alice and Maleficent look absolutely fantastic now! Alice's dress is great, and I love that she has the cake and the bottle. Pan looks sort of evil, and Mickey's torso-to-shorts ratio does not work at all.- 4,155 replies

I think Electro's hands are a different color than the Cyborg hair, and, unfortunately, there aren't any appropriate heads in that color, either.

It's not uncommon ror LEGO to include two figures in a series with the same piece to confuse people. I think Larry's hair is thematically appropriate for the Spooky Boy as a male equivalent to the Girl's hairstyle. I don't understand why so many people think he's going to be that different, though. He's named in the same way as the S12 figure, so he's intended to match her. I liked Robert8's suggestion, but I imagine he'll be more modern than Victorian.

A classic voodoo doll wuld be humanoid and usually has a prominent heart decoration. Merely being sewn from cloth doesn't maake it the same. Spooky Boy will probably be very similar to his predecessor. I'd expect a boy in either a striped shirt or academy suit, with maybe a Games microfigure as a toy.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

Expecting S16 to be in any stores right now is highly unrealistic. They're due in September, which is quite a ways away. They haven't even been shipped at this point. -
Hm. Iceman doesn't strike me as that bright, and I'm not sure there are any other body parts in that shade that would work for him. NRG Zane seems like the best approximation for now.

Bane is good for those who don't have him, but he's just a reissue of the 2012 version with a built-up backpack. Stay Puft and Slimer are more desirable to me because they're both exclusive (the HQ Slimer has a different face).

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game Discussion

Wii U doesn't support DLC for whatever reason. And I agree, if you want additional content, include it in the game for a slightly higher price. I find the base games enjoyable, but it's a bit frustrating.- 647 replies

Right. Dalekbuster meant that more well-known games would have been preferable.
