It IS a funny game! And yes, it is a RTS indeed. I haven't the Civilization series but they look funny to me. I've always considered to buy a Civilization game or not. Sure do, only make sure you won't get HOAXED by the enemy troops hiding themself in the bushes... -They tried that on me, but I've found 'em!

Brickshelf folders need to be moderated before they become public viewable, please wait a few hours and then see again. Nothing wrong at all. The ship looks very promising to me, I see a nice tumblehome in it, a nice bow and some cool photoshopping work. I'm eager to see more of this beauty!

Thanks to this ship I came to EB when I saw it on Google, I never commented on it till now. Great ship you've got there, with a nice shape and coloursheme. The rigging looks great as well. I see there are a lot of details on deck along with custom cannons, which I really like. The stern could do with some more yellow, since it's almost completely black now, but the shape of it is nice. Great job and I'm eager to see more ships from you in the future!

I think it's better to send one large email, perhaps two, with everyone's signature on it so they can see we put effort in it. Spamming them is a bad idea and I'm afraid they see it as a reason to just DON'T make new sets, and we won't let that happen do we?

I use a lot of the Johnny Thunder set pieces, like heads, headgear and torso's for my minifigs. Lots of details came from the Castle sets, like the turkey drumsticks, minifig heads, lion-head statues... In short: I use a lot of "non pirate themed" bricks in my MOCs, I think everyone does.

The admiral has a nice view here, notice the exploding British brig at the background. :pir-skull: The Mahjarat Confederacy has stolen a 6th rate ship from me, now I meet it at sea again. Better to sink the vessel instead of giving it to the Mahjarat Confederacy! More at Flickr I see TinyPiesRus is more a land based battle guy, I don't know why I fight so much at sea instead of land...

I should post your updates in this thread, by just posting another post, not by editing the first post. Edit the discription of the topic instead to say there are updates. The solution for the tumblehome I came up with: The whole ship has an interior and lots of details inside, I'm currently updating it and I'll post pics of the interior soon. A quick draft from the tumblehome. I hope this explains how to do it. Good luck matey!

I don't think we have that much influence on TLC, but it's worth it of course. If we all join and write a letter or sending an email it is possible to archieve something we really want... But I think they will introduce Bluecoats soon, just like the previous pirate's line. Perhaps there will be islanders and armada guys in it too. We shall see where TLC comes up with.

Sounds very promising! I'm looking forward to the first modules! I'm currently building a port as well, tomorrow another BL order arrives and then I'm going to upgrade my pub and start the construction of the governor's recidence.

This is getting a serious big project! Overall it looks great, but quite flimsy to me. I've never build ships like this way but it looks like it could collaps quite easy. Perhaps adding decks would make it more secure, or support poles. The stern is the most hard part since it is sloped in a weird way. I've experienced it myself too. I also recommend to place the bowsprit higher, otherwise the forecastle looks very high. Now back to work!

Looks like civil warfare... Good job on the cannons, they look pretty realistic! Now add some details like cannonballs and cleaning rods.
